Very bad experience… booked 2 rooms on 28/06/2023. Found snake in washroom. Staff’s behaviour was also horrible. But food quality, ambience and location is very good.

Very good to stay and food is also good. But extra charge for serving food in room is not so acceptable.

Awesome ambience. If you're visiting Digha with your family for staycation, this hotel should be your first preference.

This is the best place for the tourists visiting Digha. Now it is known as Dighali tourist property. This is a huge property with garden and parking space. You will get every facilities you need here.
Fooding and lodging is really good. Rooms are spacious and air-conditioned. You will get complimentary breakfast and beverages (tea and coffee). Every room has a electric kettle and other facilities for having a good tea time.
Bathrooms are also spacious and clean. Restaurant is really nice and multi-cuisine. Food is delicious. In total I loved my stay at this place and will recommend all of you to stay here.

Rooms are good. But it is located at some distance from the sea and the view from the rooms are not that great. Room service and food is good. The place is good for family.

One of the best properties in Digha.run by WB govt. Rooms are spacious, neat & clean. Stuffs are extremely polite & well behaved. Food is also quite good with complementary breakfast. Ample parking space available with security.

This place is at old digha, you can book it from their official website. The rooms are very spatious, with big balcony. The rooms are also very clean, behaviour of the staff is very good.

The restaurant here is little bit costly, but the food is fine. The wifi is not maintained, hence there is frequent disconnection. The place is 2mins walk for the sea beach, you will get to see the sea in between the trees for 2nd floor rooms.

They have dedicated parking and there is 24hours security, so you can stay tension free for your car. The cost of the rooms are also resonable, overall its a very nice place to stay.

They give a welcome drink when you check in here and also you get complementary breakfast here.

Well situated property. A few minutes walk from the beach. Rooms are properly maintained with all basic amenities. However the most positive part would be the staff behavior. Starting from check in to check out they make sure that you have a great stay.

I was not expecting to have such a wonderful experience at erstwhile Digha Tourist Lodge (now Dighali 1 Tourism property). Rooms are spacious, well decorated with all the amenities. Staff are so well behaved, polite and attentive. Special mention to the chefs and restaurant, we being strict vegetarian, they made everything as per our request and food quality and quantity both were awesome. We were served welcome drink on arrival and there was complimentary breakfast too. So overall, great stay and would love to go there again in future.

This is awesome govt. Property. This is a fantastic hotel to stay at old Digha. Location is also very good. Behavior of all staff are very well. Room is spacious, neat and clean. Very tasty food.

It's a big property owned by govt of west bengal everything is perfect starting from sanitization kit to food, one thing is clear this particular hotel is perfect staying during this covid period. Neat and clean bathroom to bed. We stay here in super deluxe room for 2 days.

It was awesome in one word. Staffs were friendly. Please try their restaurant's food, it was heavenly.

Wonderful experience in old digha everything was fine the suite was also cool but only one problem wifi is abrupt please have a good data backup.

In one word awesome. A govt property with great amenities and service is more than what one can expect. It is a renovated property. Well maintained and strict covid norms followed. I made a perfect decision by staying here for 2 nights.

Nice place to stay. Safe, clean, sanitized properly, very close to sea. I could see the ocean from my balcony. Only problem is absence of an elevator, aged people could have some problem to climb stairs. Otherwise, hands down one of the best places in Digha.

Excellent service of entire staffs, good food quality also in good location just 2 minutes from beach. But slight costly.

This property is renovated. Now it offers a 3 star accomodation, rooms are modern, spacious with clean and posh toilet.

Bed is super comfortable.every room has 42 inch LED, tea and coffee supply and electric water kettle, welcome kit with toilettees and dental care.

Balcony is quite spacious with cloth hanger!

Restaurant is renovated too. Interior design can compete with an upscale restaurant in kolkata. Food quality is very good though price is pinch higher.
I rate it as best accomodation in digha with reasonable rates.

The location of the premises is very good. Though sea is not visible from anywhere of the property still it is very good. All rooms are facing with lushgreen garden. Rooms are cozy neat and clean. Staffs are very cordial. Foods are also very tasty. Overall the tourisming property is very good for Digha traveller's.

Dighali, a WBTDCL Tourist lodge is just 200 mt away from old Digha sea beach, is nice, rooms are specious enough, all AC rooms and above all budget friendly. Staffs behavior is nice. Restaurant is neat and clean and at the same time pocket friendly.

Nice hotel with well behaved staffs, food is costly but overall experience is awesome. Spacious and clean rooms, big lawn with parking facility. 2mins walk from beach.

Too specious and room is quite big with good interior. But food taste of their restaurant is not up to the mark. Otherwise everything is just perfect

Good rooms with clean toilet, but man when it comes to restaurant and services, I will give 2, the staffs have so much tantrums, same as government employees. One have to finish dinner by 9.30pm otherwise have to pay Rs 50/- per head to get the food in room. Lack of hospitality.

No lift which is a huge disadvantage to elderly couples. Sea not visible though I was in on 2nd floor. Service was good staff was courteous as well. Rooms spacious and well maintained, sanitized. Overall a good experience. The restaurant serves all type of food.reshmi kabab was a delight. Chinese not so much. Breakfast was complimentary.

Extremely spacious rooms. And big bathrooms. However they have dysfunctional bathroom fittings. Close to the beach. And have a beautiful lawn with nice canopy style seating arrangements.

Food here is overrated and needlessly expensive. Totally not worth it. Extremely disappointed with the food. And you are not allowed to carry food from outside.

The breakfast menu is set. No variance.

Worst part is, they have specific timings to order food. Without which, you will get an extremely compromised meal.
There are small hotels just across the street, which is a life saver.

Going to reception to one block of WBTD tourist centre in old Digha, near binapani sweet shop I asked them, how much the rent of one room suite, they replied ₹2560 per night. Though it is much costly for general people, but it is very nearer to get t sea, but in past years, before 30 to 40 years it is not so costly and good for general public

Room amenities as well as service quality’s are far better than the Private hotels of same category. Puppet show in the courtyard is added recreation in the evening.

I went to Digha on 23.01.2021 with my family staying at Digha Tourist Lodge, WB Tourism Development Corporation. The ambience of the lodge was good and Asst. Manager Mr. Kousik Paul is very friendly. It is very good place to stay and quality of food is also good.

The booking amount does not include GST and this must be paid at the counter. The manager on duty will guilt you into adding a tip in the name of service charge.

The rooms are huge and the stay is pleasant. But this is negated by the really bad food their restaurant offers. Please do not eat at this place. They are only good for pakoras and bread toast with omlette.

The staff behaves well enough although the front desk will throw some attitude.

The hotel is located about 400 metres from the sea front and quite a bit away from the sandy parts.

Book for the rooms, not for the food.

The renovated and refurbished Digha Tourist Lodge (now called Dighali) has most modern facilities of 3-star category hotels within reasonable price tag. The rooms are spacious with comfortable bed and all necessary facilities. The restaurant serves standard quality dishes, which are also reasonably charged. In-house services have improved a lot, considering that it is a government undertaking.
Overall, very good experience.

Newly renovated lodge with all modern amenities in rooms.rooms are quite big and specious with balcony attached with each room.bathrooms are clean.rooms are also very clean and well maintained.they provide all sort of toiletries.only one thing is short ie mini fridge.
Food is very good.price is also quite reasonable.all sort of Bengali and Chinese food is available in the menu card and they try to serve most of them.tandoori and south Indian food is not yet started but they will provide it with due course of time.
They have a huge lawn with a beautiful rose garden​. With sitting areas under umbrellas.well maintained garden and lawn.but a kids play area is really needed with slide and see-saw etc.which is not there yet.

There was a huge change from the last time I visited. The rooms, decor, service, food. Everything was excellent. Enjoyed very much.

It's great, Rs. 2000 and more rooms are great but for Rs. 1700 rooms are good but still it needs some works like the lock of every doors and some plumbing works needed, Acs are old one fitted not suitable.others ok and fine. Food, parking very good. Variety of flowers has been planted which looks good. Staffs are great in reception as well as in canteen. Room services are great, everything on time. Managers good, he doing a great job.
I suggest everyone should visit wbtdc dighali 1. It's really comfortable.

Nicely renovated tourist lodge. The rooms need special mention as these are big and comfortable. The furniture, bed, curtains and bathroom fittings are all new and spotlessly clean.
The attached balcony is an added advantage. Ample parking space and good food.

Visited the same lodge after a long time. It is being managed by Bengal Tourism. It has got a newer and modern look after renovation. Kindly book in advance during season from Bengal Tourism site. It is very near to the Digha beech but doesn't have direct site. But it is worth staying.

Just renovated. Service is not up to the mark. Better avoid to stay here. Food huge expencive but quality and quantity very poor. Besides heden cost and taxes in every items

I am amazed to see the development of our WB tourism. It is under renovation and will take time. But the outcome is going to be tremendous. The interior has been changed and looks like a 3star hotel. The staffs are extremely polite and courteous. It will be an amazing stay.

At present the hotel is under reconstruction, and the entrance to the is hazardous as of now and they charge extra 50 Rs for each person for room service. At least they should have told the guests that hotel is now under reconstruction. Suites are good.

The rooms are still under renovations. Service is acceptable. The place is just on the entrance of the promenade of Digha, a littlethe off side of the main central area. If you need kind of less crowd, this being the placeon. Food is acceptable but not universally. If you want to drive to the place before completion of renovation beware of your car tyre. I had a flat tyre as a discarded screw on the parking lot pierced my tyre. It is difficult to get a car mechanic at Digha. You may have to go to near the border of orissa to get it repaired.

Excellent service, nice and well behaved staffs, homely environment, having 24 hours security service, very near to Old Digha sea beach.rooms are well decorated, 24 hours power supply, having restaurant, car parking space, room service is very good. Very satisfied at this lodge.

It's a wonderfull hotel with some mouth watering food, Exceptional behaviour of the staff, Room condition was pitch perfect, all amenities was properly placed
It's under renovation so that's why a lil bit of problem which I will happily ignore as they have done exceptionally well

A nice, cozy atmosphere with abundant space. Loved the sea-view balcony! Food was reasonably priced and very tasty. Staff was extremely courteous. All in all, a wonderful stay!

One of the best lodges in India. Very economical and good maintenance. Far better than so called 'hip resorts'

This tourist lodge is maintained by the government of West Bengal. Well behaved stuff & neet and clean rooms, but the food quality is average.

Maintain by WB government. Probably month of March they renovate/maintenance the hotel. You can't book that time any room. They also a good Restaurant just beside hotel for everyone.
