Dream Hut Resort

Location, pool, ambiance everything was good except the staff. The worst kind of staff behaviour can be experienced here. They demand tips by coming in swarms, and the looks they give are just straight up creepy.

I have never seen such a bad hotel in my life. We waited for 1hour for the service yet no one came. There was so much leakage. The only good about this place was that the location was right beside the sea. The tv was not recharge.

3rd class hotel. In this price one can get a 4 star resort. Never stay there. All the staffs are very slow. Service is very poor and they charge very high price even for some ice cubes. Taste of the food is average and price is high.only the swimming pool is good. Staying in this resort is nothing but wastage of money. Very disappointed

Resort have a beautiful place for spend your time with sea and gentle wind. Mind refreshing place.

I have been here many times, but last I was facing a pathetic situation. Hotel bill and food bill are too many mistakes, extra charges are added to my bill. So please check your bill properly.

My experience at DREAM HUT RESORT was a complete and utter disaster. The lack of hospitality, abysmal food quality, and appalling room conditions turned what was supposed to be a relaxing getaway into a nightmare. I would strongly advise anyone considering this resort to save their hard-earned money and choose a different destination. This place is an embarrassment to the hospitality industry.

Fantastic Experience. The rooms were clean and quiet decorated. The room service was good. And Foods in their cafeteria was excellent along with the location of the resort. Sea view is available and swimming pool.

If you visit mandarmani give this place a try.

Although the service is not that great, but we have been to dream Hut many times now over past one decade. The room rates are more or less fixed and reasonable unlike the other properties nearby. This is walking distance from mondarmoni market and bis stand so convenient for those not coming by car. Also they have the swimming pool open now which is a plus. The sea side decks could have been more comfortable if cushion support was there. Overall nice in the price range

Rooms are under-maintained, over priced, they are charging Rs. 3584 per night but the quality of rooms are like Rs. 1000-1200
Food was avg but their service was good. Most of the fans are not working in their restaurant, exhaust fan is not working
Overall it was Poor experienced

Food is delicious but the room, wash room was so dirty and there were no proper services for the same

Compare with price the resort room was not so good, before check in kindly check the AC & light is working or not. Food was OK. Service is average. Swimming pool was clean.

Room standard is very poor compared to price.
Bathroom light was not working. Foul smell coming from bathroom. Room was untidy.cracks in the wall.ac was faulty.room rent was around 3600 but as per standard they shouldn't charge more than 1000. Pathetic experience.

Good for 1/2 day stay.sea side rooms available.rooms are quite good and little costly.all the stuffs are very helpful.overall good one.

A good place to find the perfect beach vibe. They have a very good food and service. I have been there few days ago. And I don't like sea shore at all but the hotel position and the view changed my mind thinking.the cottages are well build and attractive looking but didn't find that attractive for the room it self, al others are very good, they have swimming pool also that clean and tidy. They follow all the covid rules and servuce is nice enough.

Few things to be noted from my visit:
Cons
1) electricity and air-conditioning will be available depending on the cost.for cost cutting they can turn off the electricity anytime and on request can be resumed. AC to remain off during evening time also in early morning.
2) package food is a clever business strategy.they will provide the lunch and ask you to go for package and in return will serve everything bad after lunch.
3) tea coffee depend on the mood of the hotel staff.they can knock on your door early 6am of tea and will not provide if you ask them around 9am.
4) there is no place in the hotel premises where you can sit and view the sea.even if the wall of the hotel is parallel to the seabeach.
5) staff are have no courtesy of service.they are some local who will not do anything that you ask for.
6) there is nothing called as room service.no water, no clean towel, no clean blanket, not proper lights, filled with bugs and frogs.
7) advance Booking is a big NO.as they will not show you the real room from outside or inside (we were provided drivers room as a 4 bed cottage).
8) pool is as dirty as a drain.couldn't dare to step on it. No filtering system or changing of water for days.

Pros:
1) near to the sea beach.

Very bad room service. Canteen staffs refuse to take orders. Felt like a hostel more than a hotel.
They deliberately switch off current during 5 am to 7 am and 6 pm to 8 pm they switch off ac. During the time when mostly people stay at their rooms.
Very poor experience.

The place looks beautiful on the outside and terrible on the inside! Highly unprofessional behaviour of the staffs! AC is switched off early morning and in the evening without any prior intimation or notice to the guests.
Treated like hostelers (staffs refused to take orders and also didn't deliver in the rooms, but delivered for others later). Extremely disgusting room service. Inadequate towel and drinking water provided in the room; remain unattended during the stay. Bathroom light bursted during evening (repaired on call). 2 toads in the bathroom (thrown away on call)
Only the lunch was good. But meals in package is the worst - inadequate quantity and low quality.

Stayed here for two days amidst the covid restrictions, had to submit negative test report to ensure smooth check in. The hotel is located just 2mins away from the sea beach with a beautiful area as well as a well maintained swimming pool. The location is pretty good considering the available of essentials. Food price at the in house restaurant is fairly low too however, they're not so good with the Chinese items.
Coming to the hospitality, they made sure all our demands were met.
The cons of staying here: be prepared to face lizards in the hotel room if you're scared of them. The jet spray in the bathroom didn't work on the first day of our stay and we had to get it fixed next morning.
What I personally felt was this is a good place to stay for friends and younger ones mostly. Families have better options nearby.

We went to dream hut resort on 19th feb 2021, the experience was quite satisfactory. The room should be more cleaned. There was bugs in the bed. They have enough free space but the things should be more well organised. Otherwise the mandermoni trip was good.

This was my 2nd visit here and decided to go the 2nd time as my 1st visit was amazing. Saw the place near the beach was destroyed due to cyclone but they are building it back. Hope to go there again.

Resort premises is very beautiful and well decorated. Room service and house keeping service is moderate. Staff behavior is very good, specially manager is very friendly and cooperative. Most worst thing is canteen service and canteen staffs. Food quality is very poor. I have stayed for 3 days with my family & friends and I have oberserved that maximum guests are having their lunch and dinner from outside. One evening we have ordered snacks and coffee at round 8: 30 pm and canteen staffs denied to take the order. According to them we have delayed to order evening snacks. But they are siting idle and watching IPL 2021. They don't have proper tracking system of guest orders. We have suggested them to provide a bill daily basis at the end of every day. At the time of our trip they don't have billing system with cards. I believe if they improve the canteen service then it will be a best resort of Mandarmani.

Our overall experience of this resort was always good, so for a couple of relaxing days you can obviously opt this out.

Worst of the worst places I have visited so far. No courtesy of anybody whatsoever. Worst room service. Worst housekeeping, found toads in the room. Will cut your room's electricity during peak hours willingly.

This place is just awsome.its a beautiful property situated just beside mandarmoni beach.it has also started a swimming pool.

This is a very good resort where one can get full view of the beach playing at the playground, swimming in the pool and also while relaxing on a deck chair. Food is good and one can enjoy evening snacks sitting on the deck chair feeling the sea breeze. Truly a dream hut.

Very bad experience. Staffs behaviour is horrible.sitting area near beach is full of caterpillar u can't sit more than 5 minutes.they gave a used blanket with vomiting stain.

Food price is so much high than quality as well as quantity & staffs are not behave properly also the room condition was not maintain properly as they charge from us but the position of the resort are excellent

We had a wonderful experience staying at the Dream Hut Resort. Just like its name, it was as beautiful as a dream. The location is impeccable. As we stayed there during Holi, we wanted a quiet and peaceful place and that is what we exactly got. The ambience is extremely serene and placid. With a little bit of improvement of the service in the resort, it will surely be regarded as one of the best resorts in Mandarmani. I highly recommend this resort to anyone and everyone looking for a quick getaway from their hectic and busy lives. Looking forward to visiting this wonderful place again!

Mandarmoni, a quick and easy destination from Kolkata to spend a couple of days on a sea beach. This new resort is quite pleasant with ample open space for kids to run around and enjoy their park alongside the beach. Rooms are standard. The food and service certainly can be improved to give you the pleasure of leisure that you are spending for. Would like to revisit once they are completely done with their construction (swimming pool was under construction) and see how they do. Liked the stay overall for the strategic location of the resort and its spacious campus!

This is a very good resort to stay with friends and family. The nature friendly ambiance, location & food quality is the best thing here. But if you are looking for a luxurious stay, this will not be the right place. Also as per my opinion the room prices are a bit on the higher side considering the quality.

This place is certainly not a dream hut or a resort. Stayed 2 nights in october. For the price I paid (avg. 3000/night), it was pathetic. Its very evident the management does not care about its operation. Point:

2. Atm card facility was non functional. Make sure you bring cash.
3. Staff were not friendly and rude
4. Stray dogs walking freely on the property. Even cows came in at one point. See cow dung pic to prove my point
5. Tasteless and expensive food at restaurant. They had a fixed menu and we were not allowed to choose other options.
6. Room 116's doorbell switch can electrocute you. I warned the reception to cover it but no was interested.
7. Rooms had plenty of geckos

Bad experience. Not worth the money at all. Will never book there.

The resort was lovely, staff was cordial, wide landscape garden, play area for kids, the best part is the private beach and beautiful aitti cum relaxing area at the Beachfront.amazing

Very nice resort. Calm and Peaceful environment. Rooms were clean and spacious. Food was very nice at affordable price.

The resort location is just superb and its a huge property but the room tarif they charged 3k for per day is not justified from outside the building cottage all looks good but from inside its not worth for 3k ac were old resort swimming pool were empty inside restaurant food was ok and in evening snack better to have something from outside but in the last day we told them to cook something special that day food was very good and 1 star extra given for the resort which is situated right on the beach with plenty of sitting area as well as for the huge lamp post which is inside dream hut resort boundary other wise it would be completely dark.

Its not a value for money place. Same old rooms with smelling bed sheets and a decade old ac that hums all night and day.
