Wonderful place. The owner Ashok Mansata is a friend of mine. He helped me a lot when I was new to Kolkata. Food of course is very good. I have very pleasant memories.

Very old resturant.
Pure veg.
Use to have footlong and tutty fruity back in 2005, not sure about quality anymore.

It's spacious. The way they prepare dal makhani is just mouth watering. Having the parking facility.

It's very poor meal. I have ordered mixed fried rice and fish hot garlic, but it's very poor quality. Just waste for money

Surprisely located in between Russell Street and Little Russell Street, you get outdoor seating in this restaurant. Food is good. Best time to visit is winter season.

Worst place. We ordered butter chicken, they served stale chicken. And only the manager felt it was fresh. However they didn't charge us for the stale dish. Please don't visit.

A small hall room is here and aslo a place for food accomodation. Any one can use for small meeting or can arrange small get together here. Yes AC facility available in the hall. Food quality is good. Staffs are also well. I have aslo taken a lunch here. Small parking are inside the area.

Love the natural ambience. Small hut type ambience gathering with friends and family. Some adda or get together. Yes you can feel all this things in this place. They serve you Chinese & North Indian. I tried the North Indian items. Starters were Lassi full refreshing then Chicken tikka, chicken seekh kabab & fish finger. All starter were delicious. Now the main course were chicken hyderabadi biriyani, kadhai chicken, chicken hyderabadi, panner butter masala, butter Nun & chicken thali. Biriyani was absolutely delicious. All were so good but chicken hyderabadi recommended the authentic taste & the chicken thali that was the real deal. Thali had chicken, pulao, achar, dal Makhani, Nun & papd just perfect & yummy. The lunch was end with chocolate Ice cream. The mukhsuddi part was unique & beautiful. Service was good & price was pocket friendly. What are you waiting for just drive in & enjoy.

Good place for an office lunch. Quick service. Their thalis are tasty & value for money. Average eaters can share just one. Best thing is that parking is available in an area where there is hardly any parking place available.

The drive inn is located a few steps far from Maidan metro. It has an AC accommodation as well as a non-AC accommodation.
Few days back, I was here for lunch and I tried the following items from their menu.

Refreshments:
1. Lassi- The consistency of the lassi was perfect. It was very refreshing and I really liked it.

Starters:
1. Chicken Tikka - The tikkas soft, tender and properly spiced. (recommended)

2. Chicken Seekh Kebab- The seekh kebabs were good.

3. Fish finger with tartar sauce- I loved the fish fingers and it tasted a lot better with the tartar sauce. (Recommended)

Main course:
1. Chicken Hyderabadi Biryani- The Biryani was good but the chicken in it was a bit stiff.

2. Kadhai Chicken- The gravy was very tasty but again, the chicken pieces were a bit stiff.
3. Chicken Hyderabadi (boneless) - This was good.

4. Paneer Butter Masala- This is recommended. The taste was perfect. I liked this more than the chicken dishes. (Recommended)

5. Chicken Thali- This huge thali had pulao, Dal makhani, naan, chicken gravy, achaar and salad.

6. Butter Naan

Dessert:
1. Chocolate ice cream

Beautiful place with beautiful ambience and they serve some quality foods with great taste.
My experience is also too good with this place.

The place is located at a stone throwing distance from the Maidan Metro Station. The property is beautiful but less maintained.

Staffs are very friendly and coperative. Service is bit slow but considerable.

They have both AC and Outdoor seating arrangements. I liked the Outdoor Area the most.

Coming to food. They are running. Awesome pocket friendly Thalis. And believe me it's a complete value for money. Taste of the dishes in the Thalis are very very good.

Other recommendations are.
"Lassi", "Chicken Tikka", "Chicken Seekh Kebab", "Kadhai Chicken", "Chicken Hyderabadi", "Paneer Butter Masala", "Butter Naan".

Didn't tried their Chinese Section. Will try it soon.

College gave over early today, so we decided to head to Drive Inn at 2: 30. It's just a few minutes walk from my college which is The Bhawanipur Education Society (almost 21min) and a 5min walk from Maidan metro gate no. 2.
The place has both indoors and outdoors. We generally prefer outdoors but due to the scorching heat, we chose indoors. Well, the indoors can accommodate around 20-25 people, all over probably, the whole restaurant can accommodate around 100-150 people and also has a conference hall.
The service is too slow, so they need to work on it.
Overall, the food was good and the experience okayish.

Good food, great service at very pocket friendly rates.the staffs, management was very well behaved.liked their Chinese food more in comparison to their indian part.they serve some good corporate thalis at great rates. I really liked their shakes, Chinese delicacies like dragon chicken, Schezwan momo, also their fish finger is a must try! And blackcurrant shake was too good!

This restaurant located just 5 minutes walking from Maidan metro gate 4, Has become my favorite stop for lunch whenever I visit Central. This place has a very amazing range of Chinese and Indian food at a very cheap price I would surely recommend the public to give it a try!

It is a 26 years old outlet.located just near 2number gate of maidan. The ambience is very pleasant open air dhaba type. Have ac banquet also. The food they serve is just excellent. The staffs are well skilled and very fast in service. The prices of the food are very reasonable. We had:
1. Chicken Tikka kebab

3. Fish finger
4. Hydrabadi Biryani (recommended)
5. Kadai Chicken
6. Hydrabadi Chicken
7. Pander butter Masala
8. Butter Nun
9. Chicken thali (pulao, 2 pieces of nun, chicken, dal makkhani, achar) ##HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
The name of the foods are very simple but believe me the quality was tooo good!

This place is very simple and basic yet very beautiful. There are both outdoor and air conditioned seating arrangements.

For starters we had:

1) Fish Fingers - The fish fingers were good. But a bit salty for my taste.

2) Dragon Chicken - This was the best starter among all. (highly recommended)

3) Chilli Chicken Dry - I loved it. This is also a must try. (recommended)

4) Chicken schezwan momo - The momos were really hot and spicy. (recommended)

For the mains we had:

1) Drive Inn special fried rice (recommended)
2) Chicken Hot Garlic (recommended)
3) Schezwan Chicken
4) Paneer Thali
5) Chicken Thali - I loved all the items in this thali except the pulao. (recommended)

For desserts:

1) Fried Ice cream: The outer layer was thick and it lacked crispness. Hence, average.

2) Tutti Fruity: This was yummy. A prefect dessert to beat this heat. (Recommended)

Hence, we had a great meal.

Overall good outdoor experience with soft and romantic rainy evening. The Sechewan chicken momo was darling! Want to have it again.

Food is amazing and very reasonable. It's just 2 minutes of walking from Maidan metro station and you're all set for a pocket friendly lunch! Drive in serves good-value vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. The thalis are tasty & value for money, I was simply amazed and totally love this place.

For starters:

1) Fish Fingers - The fish fingers were crispy but a pinch of salt which was sprinkled from the top made it unsavory.

2) Dragon Chicken - I loved it. Dragon chicken made in piquant tartare sauce tasted tangy and spicy both at the same time cooked with bell pepper, onions, tomato and topped with scallion.

3) Chilli Chicken Dry - A must try starter.

4) Chicken schezwan momo - Schezwan Momo's we're so good in taste, it was spicy and delicious.

For Main course:

1) Drive Inn special fried rice - Fried was good.

2) Chicken Hot Garlic - The gravy was so tasty and spicy, this was my favourite.

3) Schezwan Chicken- Full of spices in a vibrate colour tasted so good.
4) Paneer Thali & Chicken Thali - This is the ultimate saver thali.

For desserts:

1) Fried Ice cream: Won't recommend this because the outer layer was thick and wasn't crispy.

2) Tutti Fruity: Tutti Fruity is a colourful ice cream containing various chopped fruits and dry fruits.
@driveinn serves creamy vanilla ice cream mixed with chopped grapes, pomegranate, banana and garnished with dry fruits and syrup on the top. ️

For drinks:

1) Black currant shake

It's a nice place for fulfilling your taste buds after a tiresome day after college or work or even shopping. While it may not be described as a luxurious place, it is relatively better place than most, offering a nice array of foodstuffs.

This place is located near Maidan metro. I was here on a Sunday afternoon. The place gives a very different vibe considering they have both outdoor and indoor seating. They serve both Indian and Chinese food at pocket friendly prices. They also have Thalis in their menu which is definitely noteworthy. The staffs tries their best to provide with a good service. Few of the recommended items are-Lassi, Chicken Thali, Hyderabadi Biryani, Paneer Butter Masala, Butter Naan.

Good restaurants with indoor ND outdoor sitting arrangements serving veg and nonveg variety of dishes, frequented by young crowd and office goers.

I had really a great time over here. Food is amazing and very reasonable. 2 minutes of walking distance from Maidan metro station. Service needs to be lil bit prompt but staffs are generous.
