Ecospace Business Park

Ecospace Kolkata is a prominent IT park and business hub located in Rajarhat, Kolkata. Having visited Ecospace on multiple occasions, I would like to share my review of the facility.

First and foremost, Ecospace offers a modern and well-designed infrastructure for businesses. The office spaces are spacious, well-lit, and equipped with the necessary amenities for a comfortable working environment. The park has a contemporary architectural design, featuring glass facades and landscaped surroundings, creating a pleasant and professional ambiance.
The connectivity and accessibility of Ecospace Kolkata are notable advantages. It is strategically located near major highways, making it easily accessible by both private and public transportation. The park also provides ample parking facilities for employees and visitors.

One of the key highlights of Ecospace is its range of amenities and services. The park houses a variety of dining options, including cafes and restaurants, providing a diverse culinary experience for employees and visitors. Additionally, there are facilities such as fitness centers, convenience stores, and recreational areas within the premises, catering to the needs of professionals working in the park.

1890
(The Beginning)
The Neotia family has been an integral part of the business scene in Kolkata for nearly 120 years. Originating from Rajasthan, their forefathers settled in the city some time in 1890s, being attracted to the opportunities for enterprise that the city offered. Since then, Kolkata has been their home and subsequent generations have been born and brought up here.

1950 – The founders
Patriarchs of the Ambuja Neotia Group, Late Shri Suresh Neotia and Late Shri Vinod Neotia started their entrepreneurial career in the mid-1950s. Their eldest brother Shri Bimal Kumar Poddar was adopted by their maternal grandfather Shri Janki Prasad Poddar, a partner of the celebrated firm “Tarachand Ghanshyamdas”. This was probably one of the first wholly Indian registered partnership firms during the time of the British occupation of India. It was a trading firm that had offices right from Karachi in Pakistan to Shanghai in China. It began with interests in banking and insurance and later diversified into distribution of petroleum products, as a franchisee of Burma Shell.

1970-1980
RKBK Expansion

Following the sad demise of Shri Bimal Kumar Poddar in 1968, Late Shri Suresh Neotia and Late Shri Vinod Neotia took charge of the family business.  Under their leadership “Radhakrishna Bimal Kumar” continued its expansion with major forays in trading operations of cement, fertilizers and petroleum products. Having a gross turnover of Rs. 500 crores by the early 90’s, it continues to maintain a steady growth.

1980-1990
Ambuja Cements

The two brothers, relying on their vision and vast experience joined hands with Mr. Narotam Sekhsaria, brother of Bimla Poddar (wife of Late Bimal Kumar Poddar), to promote “Gujarat Ambuja Cements Limited (GACL) ” in the mid 80’s. In a few years the company earned Blue Chip status and became a leader in the cement industry. The Group came up with the city’s first business club “The Conclave” where work and pleasure met in an atmosphere of grace.

1990–2000
The Rise of a Legend
Under the stewardship of Harshavardhan Neotia, the group made its foray in realty and hospitality sectors. The Group’s first residential project Udayan-The Condoville, a JV with the Government of West Bengal, established new benchmarks in Public-Private Partnership to promote social housing and was declared a Model Housing Project by HUDCO. Mr. Neotia was honoured with Padma Shri by the President of India in 1999.2000–2005
New Beginings

Bhagirathi Neotia Women & Child Care Centre (BNWCCC) was launched in the year 2000 as the Group’s first healthcare initiative, offering the most advanced medical facilities for women and children, in Kolkata. Expansion in the hospitality sector continued with the establishment of “Swabhumi- the Heritage Plaza”, which showcased craft and culture from different parts of the country.

2005–2010
The Neotia Effect
Following the diversification of business operations the group rebranded itself as “Ambuja Realty” and wholeheartedly dedicated itself into the domains of residential properties, retail parks, hospitality, business parks, healthcare and education.
2010-2015
Business Expansion

Retail business experienced expansion with the establishment of City Centre

Following the demise of industry doyen Suresh Neotia, the Group leadership passed to Harshavardhan Neotia.

My office is located here. The name is absolutely justified. If you want your office to be situated in an eco friendly zone then this is the best location. Which I like the most, there are multiple trees planted over here.

Best insurance company

Very bad and poor quality turf. Water pump flow is very very very bad and pathetic.
After rain it turns into a small pond.
I advise everyone please don't go, you are wasting your time.

A hub for IT Companies. Many IT and Financial companies are there like Tata, Bajaj, etc. Along with large companies medium sized companies are also there like Maven Infotech and so on.
This place is well organised and eco friendly i mean to say there are lots of greenery. Trees, birds, small water bodies, etc altogether makes this place beautiful and cool.
From ultodanga or sealdah you can easily get bus and.from airport gate no. 1 also you can get direct bus or you can take bus to Biswa Bangla Gate then from there you can take autorickshaw or bus to Ecospace.
Local shops are available beside the roads.
Beware of the autorickshaw drivers they will charge you more than standard fare.

Well maintained place, Dominos, wow momo, banana leaf, are there. Its basically an office space

A very neat and clean, spacious, beautiful and stylishly structured property with great modern amenities.

Eco Space is located in Action Area II of New Town, it's an IT SEZ with offices of TCS, Tech Mahindra etc. Campus is large and well maintained. Availability of public is an issue and it gets becomes problematic post 6 PM to get any transport from that area.

A prime business hub with multitudes of businesses within it. It has big firms like TCS, HDFC bank and and a large number of smaller firms within it. Add to that the presence of various eateries like Domino's Pizza, Wow Momo, Tea Junction, Yellow Straw and their own restaurant and club Eco Village. They also have banquet halls available for rent

Nice place. Eco frndly place. Sourounding Very polite and peace full. The most beautiful things cafeteria, All security guard and maintenance people’s are very good conversations and good manners.

The area are in under developing, there has situated ecohub, tata constancy and many more business hub.

Perfect place. Everything u need is available.small vendors and shops are 10 meters away, commutation will not be an issue here.

It is a very nice place and there are a lot of officers in this place and if you come over here then you can find employees of different officers hanging around to have food and other snacks from the local shops are the stalls over there and the place is very much filled with greenery.there is also a home for special children where people from this officers come to give some help on monetary help something like that

Ambient.
Security staff is cooperative and effective.
Bike & Car parking facilities are available.
You can get Bus and Auto easily.

One of the best locations that I have worked in.many IT companies are located in this business park, most notable of which is TCS. I work in TCS.

The place has a small pool, where a few ducks swim, the sight is beautiful and relaxing fron the daily hectic life.

Also all the major food franchises have a store here, dominos, afraa, KFC, tea junction etc are few major of those.

There are many sitting places under the shades of trees, which is lovely.

Also medical shop Frankross is located and parking lot is also present.

One Sports Museum is also present in the complex.

Outside of ecospace, the local street food scene is wonderful. You will get any type of food that you want at a much cheaper rate.

All in all I love working here.
