I have gone for dinner twice. Restaurant is okay. Food is good. No idea about rooms and other facilities. Service in Restaurant is a bit slow.

Location is the main point of this Hotel.
Best for the travellers. Airport is adjacent to Hotel. 2 min walking distance.

Have the worst experience for a 3star Hotel
Attended a Training program as a trainer organised by @Asian Paints.
The behavior of the staffs are awful.
Even they asked to leave as we complaint about the behavior.
Not recommended for any kind of Conference an all.

Ethnotel is a great place for passengers travelling through Kolkata. It's located just about 1km from the airport. The rooms are really comfortable. The bar has a nice cozy ambience and the restaurant dishes out some really good food. The staff are very very friendly and helpful. A great stay here. I'm planning to stay here again the next time I'm in Kolkata.

Very hygienic, conveniently placed near Airport. However if most of your work is in the city, better to reconsider

Situated near Airport Gate no: 2 on the Jessore Road. Staffs are excellent and very helpful. Interior is gracefully done.

When you search for hotels near airport this comes among the top hotel. I had an early morning flight so I chose this hotel to save time as I was transiting from one place to another. The cost is extremely high when you compare with the facilities and the room that is provided. Anyway these are secondary when you just need to sleep. But to my horror I couldn’t sleep whole night. It was like I am on the footpath. The hotel in bang on the side of the road so the noise in the room is like as if you are on the footpath. Tried calling the reception but no one was there to help. If you want to experience how would you feel while sleeping on the footpath this is perfect place for you. This is definitely the worst place I would have ever stayed. How can they get permission on the road side when they can’t have noise control mechanism in the room. Absolutely atrocious, some authority should look into the matter and close down such hotels which charges so heavily and do not provide a basic noiseless room for proper sleep.

As I got down from cab, arriving from Kolkata Airport, the view of the Ethnotel didn't inspire me much. But as I entered the room allotted, my opinion of Ethnotel changed dramatically. It's well appointed, spacious and functionally superior.

When I dined (Vegetarian), I couldn't resist praising unreservedly... The food was delicious, to say the least. Each one of the items, Soup, Starters, Curries, Bread (Roti etc.), Rice items were exceptionally great. O wish I can come here frequently.

I am a city resident, hence will not be able to comment on their overnight hospitality BUT i went there once for having breakfast and we ordered chole bhature. I really liked the way they treated us. Super clean crockery, calm ambience amongst the traffic hustle, food served perfectly. Hot food with cold water over tom collins, and disc cut cold onions.

I really wish the team all the very best. Keep up the good work.

The best part is, its bang opposite to the kolkata airport and adjacent to the main road. Too Easy to commute.

My car with valet parking was handled efficiently.

Its definitely a try and will urge everyone to go and visit this upscale neighborhood restaurant.

Am sure these hoteliers will treat you best.

Elphin Jessore - Multi Cuisine Restauran of Ethnotel.
Very basic setup, I found very few people goes there, service people are also just 1 or 2.
Price is very reasonable, food is avg, but one thing to mention, specially their exclusive non veg platter is really good. A must try. But the starter one platter is plenty for even two person, we could take only 1 plate fried rice for 2 adult & 1 child, after that 1 non veg platter. All their menu items' quantity is quite plenty.
And, desert options are very limited. Ambience is good, and we felt exclusive and a dedicated party as no other people were present.

Trust me according to the budget I didn't got that much peace out there. For me the place wasn't Serene.

Okay for a night at the most. Very small rooms. Clean though. Friendly staff and efficient check in/ check out. Very close to the Kolkata Airport but the traffic may be horrible during office hours. If you are travelling light.just walk out of the airport and take the right exit from the Airport premises, it's faster. Cheap airport drop from the hotel makes it easier for early morning flights. Food is okay.the menu offers a lot of variety if you have time in hand.

One of the best hotels near airport in Kolkata.
Service and behaviour was also very good.
But the price is on the higher side will cost 4200+/- INR which is equivalent to 65 USD per night for two person.
Only 5 minutes drive from Kolkata Airport.

Staffs are excellent and very helpful. But, rooms are not at per with the rate charged. Foodwise dinner was good but very very limited choices for breakfast. Overall I can only say 4/10, just due to Gr8 staffs, otherwise, it would have been 1/10.

Rooms were very neat and clean. Modern and clean toilets. Good foyer to receive guests with welcome drink. Good dining hall. Food was also good. Reasonable room tariff. Excellent connectivity with Air port.

I like the bar. Not crowded. Good food. Giant screen for IPL matches. IPL themed temporary interior decor. Staff are good. Special discounts for repeat customers. Service needs to be improved a bit.

Worst hotel ever, terrible service and there was a mistake with our booking and they refused to return our money, then cancelled it and didn't return the money, the staff were extremely rude and the food awful. We would recommend never to go to this hotel and instead go to the Hazarduari or Holiday Inn which are far better service and quality. We think the reviews here must have been done by staff of the platform or hotel itself because they are very misleading.

Nice hotel in this area. Nice service and good food. Rooms are ok. 24x7 restaurant is a plus. Suggested for family too. Taxi availability is a problem here, ola Uber takes time to come. Location is not good. I don’t suggest tourists to stay here.

The room and the food was good. The location is nearby the airport. It was one of the reason why we choosed to book the room for half a day. The service was quite bad. We requested the receptionist to book taxi for us to the airport. They said they would, but the taxi wasnt there as we requested. We request3d for 2 taxi but they only had 1. And they said the same taxi would come back to pick us for second round. Bu the traffic was just so bad and it was going to take at least 40mins to get back. So we just cancelled the booking and get a taxi on our own from the main road. They werent even helping with the bags.

This hotel is very near to the Airport. If you are not carrying much luggage and ot travelling with elders or kids, you can literally walk to the airport within few min.
The hotel has Central AC in all rooms. The rooms are good. Neat and clean and well decorated. The beds are comfortable. Hotel staff is very cooperative and service is good.
The food quality and quantity is good. Although its a bit pricy but i dont think there are any hotels nesdby that offer the same quality food for a lower price. These guys serve one of the best Dosas for breakfast.

We had a plessent stay and free of any complaints.

Best budget hotel very close to airport with restaurant and good amenities. 24hrs transport facility to airport.

It's overall amazing experience. Hospitality of this hotel is awosome.in terms of food, Breakfast. The staff are very cordial and do their service in very professional way. I will prefer again if I come to Kolkata
