Avarage food for buffet, and it's too overpriced. I am not going back there. The quality of mutton is very bad, it's tough to say if its mutton or rubber. No juice at all. Good service but loud music. That's irritating.

I visited this place last week… food variety was not much but the taste of each preparation was good. Mutton briyani and chicken kebab was really tasty and balanced, only mutton kebab was too spicy. Went for lunch on a weekend, started our food with a complementary soft drink. Starters are undoubtedly delicious.we had fish kairi, grilled prawn, chicken wings, chicken 65, mutton kebab.all were well cooked and juicy except for the mutton kebab which was very very dry. In main course we had mutton biryani, hyderabadi chicken and both were very tasty.prawn pulao, fish Kalia, oriental chicken and many other veg items were there which was not upto the mark.they need to work on main course items more.dessert section was pretty good where one could find moong dal halwa, chocolate pastry, jalebi, ice cream, rice pudding etc although the menu tends to change on a day to day basis.service was very prompt and staffs are well behaved. Ambience is also nice but somewhat air conditioning system needs improvement.
We had the buffet lunch. We went at around 1pm on a Sunday and did not face any waiting time. However there was soon a big waiting line. The seekh starters were good. The chicken options were better, chicken wings being the best. Fish options were not that much good in taste (both basa and prawn). Mutton kebab was also not that satisfactory. Very less veg options provided, only tandoori aloo, gobi, paneer and crispy babycorn. A veg pizza was also served which was very disappointing in taste. Quantity of starters served was adequate and were repeated quite a number of times. Main course had usual options of North Indian, Bengali and some Chinese items. The mutton biryani was good. I loved the dessert items. Hot jalebis were available in the live counter. The gulab jamuns, rice kheer, daal halwa, ice creams; I loved them all. Soda based mocktail options were only two on the menu, we ordered a leechi flavoured one, which had excessive syrup and didn't taste good. Overall experience was satisfactory. Good for family or group outing. Washroom was very small and not quite clean. Sitting area is quite big and can accomodate large groups.
To begin with, you'll feel a bit hot inside because of the grill stations. We went on a Sunday (lunch). Starters were very good. There were varieties and all of them tasted good. Main course was okayish. Only liked Mutton Biriyani. Aloo dum was burnt. No flavour in the paneer or prawn pulao. Now, ultimate disappointment was desserts. None of the items tasted good. The ice cream tasted like frozen water. Gulab Jamun was bit hard. Jalebi, halwa were too sweet. Fruit cake was pathetic. Mango cheesecake was not good. Overall wouldn't spend 1200 to eat these items again.
Food Taste and Quality was good. But service was not up to the mark may be as it was quite busy that day. But it was very hot and stuffy inside. And we requested to lower the AC, but they said its the max they could do. So not a great experience overall. Staff behavior was good.
After covid restriction went and bit disapoint. Food was ok. Not so amazing. Few kabas are really good but at the same time few are just ok. Desert also same.
Went with family on last Sunday, 5-Dec-2021. Starters are just okay (the fried fish was a bit undercooked!). In main course, there are quite a few options with flamboyant names.however, they are not tempting by look, fragrance or by taste except the mutton biryani. Service, is rather poor.compared to my previous experience (with competitor, I guess no need to mention the name). I observed their staffs are too busy to serve the tables and most annoyingly frequently come and asks to remove the plates! Very strange. Desert is also disappointing with very limited and ordinary options. Overall, this is absolutely not a value for money! I personally will never visit again.

Great place to visit with family and friends. Quality of food was great. Staff behaviour was very good. They were following the covid guidelines while serving starters.
Not up to the mark.barbeque nation is far better than flame and grill.every single piece of meat is hard & dry.brd portions r good & rest of the foods are okay. If any one wants to spnd 1k for grill food choose barbeque nation.as a specialty restaurant ambiance & Staff behavior is very nice.
Overall experience was good. Ambience was good staffs were well behaved. The main course was really good but the main attraction the starters were not up to the mark. In respect of starters I would prefer Absolute barbeque instead of this.
Their kebabs and buffet are doing a roaring business alongwith soaring prices. This place continues to be very heavily in demand in South City Mall area. Efficient service and unlimited servings too. Limitation is your stomach size and health considerations.
Barbecue Nation has got its competitor in the City of Joy. At par with BN in food and taste, can get a little better especially in the desserts section. The ambience is good but it needs to be spread out a little.

Recently I visited their South City outlet which is located at the 3rd Floor of South City Mall and I must say they serve the best buffet in town. They are offering a variety of starters, main course and desserts to its diners but the main attraction is definitely the starters as you can enjoy grills from across the globe. Non Veg Starters: Wasabi Tandoori Prawn, Jamaican Jerk Chicken, Peri Peri Fish Fingers, Mutton Seekh Kebab & Pesto Grilled Chicken. I really liked the smoky and spicy Jamaican Jerk Chicken, it was absolutely lip smacking. The Wasabi Tandoori Prawn was totally unique in taste.
Veg Starters: Thai Mushroom, Guntur Chilli Corn, Romesco Paneer Tikka, Tandoori Aloo & Dal Chawal Aranchini. I really liked the soft yet flavorful Romesco Paneer Tikkas.
Nonveg Main Course: Chilli Soya Prawn, Basil Butter Fish, Chicken Roganjosh, Champaran Gosht, Chicken Biryani & Chingri Malaicurry Risotto. Loved the succulent pieces of mutton in Champaran Gosht, the mutton just melted in mouth, tasted really good with both Naan and chicken Biryani.
Veg Main Course: Herb Crusted Dum Aloo, Cheesy Baked Korma, Dal Fry Basil Tadka, Seared Methi Chaman, Makhani Cheese Ball, Desi Chowmein, Ginger Fried Rice, Steamed Rice & Naan.

Wrost. Chiken is too bad. We went there 12th nov 2021, with my ofc staff for bufet lunch, On next day all my coliuge including me was heavy stomach pain and loose motion.

From the starters my picks would be the peri peri fish fingers and the Jamaican jerk chicken. Jerk seasoning is based on two main ingredients - Scotch Bonnet chili peppers and allspice which i found interesting.
From the veg section Romesco paneer tikka was delicious. Romesco is a tomato based sauce and the marination turned out to be great. The dal chawal aranchini balls were equally genius.
From the desserts, I enjoyed quite a few items namely the Moong dal halwa tart and the brownie with kesar rabri. Again these are my personal favourites but others might have completely different choices.
Well when you have a list of great dishes you simply just cant choose one to be your favourite. Also don’t forget to try out their Champaran mutton served inside a earthen pot.

Good quality and taste is also good for both grills and main course. Can extent a bit of the desert section. Compared to bar b q nation deserts are less but main course tastes really good
I have been here three times. They have an exquisite buffet menu at a price of 899 plus tax till 4pm. Food is yummylicious. Love the ambience and the hospitality. Everyone is so polite and take great care. They even did not charge for me for an extra sweet lime soda and thums up. I will definitely advise to try out the place. I am sure you guyz will love it. Berbeques are finger-licking good. They provide a varieties type of bbqs. Chicken, mutton, paneer, pineapple, potato, mushroom, fish, prawn. I liked the prawn, fish and mutton bbqs the most. They can improve or add some more options to chicken bbq. The main course provides 2 types of soups, 2 types of rice, mutton biryani, 2 types of chicken, fish, egg curry, vegetable curries and many more items are there. Dessert made me the happiest I must say. Their brownie is awesome. Moreover there were 4-5 types of pastries, gulabjamun, jellies, fruits, suji ka halwa and I don't remember the rest. Then last but not the list the live ice cream counter was there, which provides mango, strawberry and kiwi flavoured ice cream. They gave us one complimentary drink to each. I am super satisfied with the behavior of the staffs. They are so humble and nice. Thanks to Flame and Grill. Keep it up.
Although we have been fairly regular at South City Mall, Flame and Grill happened only recently. We took a big group of sixteen to dinner. Ambiance was ok. Kebabs just made it par. Drinks were so-so. Rest of buffet was a mish-mash of cuisines. The desserts were most disappointing of all. Too pricey, nothing worth remembering.
The starters cover a wide range of kebabs ranging from mutton seekh, chicken, ajwaini fish, prawn, paneer, mushroom, cauliflower and potato. There were also small chicken wraps which were very tasty. The chicken wings were hopelessly sub standard, though. The main course had a lovely spread of chicken biryani, mangalorean fish curry, methi chicken and mutton rogan josh. The biryani was awesome but the mutton was slightly undercooked. Chicken salad was great. Coming to the home run, the desserts had a good variety of four varieties of ice cream, strawberry pastry, brownie, dal halwa and langcha.
It's a very good restaurant to dine with your family. Starters are awesome and they even provide a different options in veg starters also. The interior decoration is soo Indian with many kind of Indian spices.
