I don't know if anyone agrees with me or not, but i want to emphasize that this place is a big fat OK. I went for thir breakfast which was recommended by many. For 850 buck i got a few gold cuts, two fried eggs and some fruits with a couple of toasts. I have eaten similar stuff in other places and i can assure you that all were better than this place. Not to mention, kolkata is a very pocket friendly place when it comes to food. This price was unacceptable for the average food that was served. The sunny side up eggs were a bit over done so the yolk was not as runny as ot should be. The beans were Clearly out of the can. The hash browns were nice but i am a sucker for potato and they tasted familiar. It would not be surprised if they are not making them from the scratch but going for some ready to fry stuff (i can definitely be wrong about this). All in all i felt that my time and money was wasted here. Tried the mutton puff as well. It was not bad at all but nothing to reminisce about. I am not saying the food is bad, just that it is way over hyped. The staff was again decent but nothing that would leave a lasting impression. The dinning area does have nice old school feel to it. And that is what the place is about, the charm. If you are looking for some great food in Kolkata, i don't think this is where you should be going.

Absolute place for dessert lover I visited there morning time and the atmosphere was so lovely and calm at that time. The ambience is amazing, high ceiling, the light decoration and also the mirror, so much pretty interior. All staffs are helpful.

The rum balls had ZERO rum in them. Last time many years ago i had tasted it, the flavour was oozing of rum and chocolate. They are thoroughly cheating customers nowadays, with skyrocketing prices and deteriorating product quality.

There is no other place to taste genuine english cuisine in kolkata. Prices are on the higher side but overall ambience and experience is too good.

Boasts of its glorious past, the price of food items is exorbitant and the pastries are good especially almond pastry. The chocolate pastry had extremely high sugar content. Lunch and breakfast items are also available here. It needs to improve the taste and quality of food items significantly to keep a parity with its pricing.

First time I have visited in Flurys. Atmosphere was good. I have tasted English Breakfast which was delicious in taste. I like to recommend Come here at least once.

English Breakfast, Egg Benedict and Pancakes with maple syrup.awesome. Store (Park Street) opens at 6a.m. Benedict is available till around lunch and not thereafter.

It was quite a brunch. Nice experience because we were in hurry so we packed chicken fajita loaded fries and 3 desserts.oh my god I became the fan of there fajitas.damm awesome. Best place for continental I would recommend.

Very hyped place. May have been the numero uno place for quite sometime but now there are many other places which sells very good cakes. Like Lalit great eastern bakery shop is a very good example. People of Kolkata is purely nostalgic about this place and so it continues it’s journey.

Pathetic experience the staffs are really rude, they lack hospitality, had been waiting for someone to take my order, on calling the manager for a complain, my complain was resolved by telling me I was the one who did not want to place an order great hospitality flurries. The managers name being chiranjit

Was reluctant to visit here primarily not due to any specific reason, even when reached had to wait long. But once got the seat, feeling heavenly with the chandeliers on the top, mild cold ac and the whole cake-pastry ambiance.
We were 4 adults with 1 child and so ordered 2 joggers, 1 spanish and 1 english breakfast.with the joggers 2 fresh watermelon juices were served 1st. Then come the english one with toast, ham, hash brown, grilled tomato, sausage, fruits. Joggers came with almost same in addition with baked beans and finally came the spanish with chicken-mushroom-capcicum mixed combo on a plain toasted base along with fried eggs and cream and fruits.
The whole things ended with black koffie and cappuccino. Whole bill was around Rs. 3000/-. Serving was a bit slow and the table was too narrow. Overall satisfactory.

The place is immensely popular and enjoys many crowded hours. The décor retains a colonial vibe with furniture and colours that give it a vintage appearance. The outlet is best known for its breakfast meals, pastries, cakes and patties and offers items from many parts of the world. The menu has not changed over the years, retaining many past favourites, while adding new things ever so often. However, to keep up with modern trends, Flury's has now introduced vegan and gluten-free options. Generous portions, friendly servers and customers, the charm of old Calcutta combines here with the sheer joy of getting every detail perfect, to make tea and snacks a meal to remember in the city of joy.

Tasty savouries and confectionery. Some old favourites not always available. Long for traditional chicken sandwiches without mayonnaise

Staffs are very casual of wearing the mask. I visited Park Street outlet yesterday and had to wait for about 15 minutes to collect the order. The supervisor of the counter did not wear the mask at all. I had taken his picture.

First of all let me clear this out: Flurys main dinein outlet at Park Street is sustaining and probably doing well due to 1) hype 2) hype 3) hype! This 4* plus rating must go. The shop needs to shut and patrons need to tell management to reinvent this heritage eatery.

And this hype bubble doesn't give the bakery owners a right to be supposedly exclusive and pricey with a sub-standard breakfast serving which are all but humbug!
We had a whopping Rs 3500 worth of bfast and were terribly disappointed. Due to price which wasnt worth the quality! At all.
The American bfast platter (750 + taxes) looked like a dish from the US Army tent cafe during Vietnam War! The Eggs Benedict with Salmon sides (thin slices/salame?) was one of the worst Benedicts I had. I thought they would care to give a small cut of the fish. Go for other sides but salmon, if you order Benedict.
Then the Spanish bfast looked and tasted more like Lasagna between tortilla and fried eggs. They have written elaborately the description but the Huevos Rancheros found in Spain and Mexico eateries are generous with their accompaniments like sliced avocados, refried beans, guacamole dips. Flurys one was a cheap rip off at an overpriced rate.
Finally Pancakes. Disappointed again.
Not sure if their kitchen staff is this bad or we were plain unlucky to have food prepared by interns in Flurys kitchen.
I will never visit nor recommed anyone Flurys dine-in in near future.

Good. Traditional and nostalgic. There is better food in kolkata than flury's. But this place has a name and nostalgic value to it. The food is ok. Nothing mind blowing but not bad at all. The quantity is very good. But there will be a queue most of the time.

The Cockroach that we didn't order for.

Those who follow me have already been updated as to my earlier post and hence, are testament to my personal panegyric on the pleasure of visiting one of the oldest and most cherished confectionary/tearoom of the city- #Flury's park Street, after a significant long time. Needless to say, the my daughter and I were expecting a good time and indulge in some of their patent dishes.
On entering the restaurant, however, the ill-maintainance became conspicuous and the inveterate debonair was astonishingly missing. However, this was nothing in comparison to the absolute horror that we were in for.a dead cockroach in our salad which I can personally vouch for not ordering.
We immediately called for the manager and confoundedly waited for an explanation or some sort of clarification. There was none.even the chef blankly stared at it for minutes probably before realising the cockroach unfortunately cannot speak for itself!
Till here the situation is still understandable. However what followed was complete negligence and unacceptable behaviour when the managers seemed to conclude that the only suitable compensation was to waive off the bill and fill up a survey which they will "take very seriously".
Indemnifying the customer is not the answer to gross negligence in basic mainteinance and food quality protection. This is a serious issue and needs to be sorted for the safety of other customers as well.
This post does not aim to calumniate the place in question. However, such callousness was not expected and is definitely not acceptable.

#hygeine at its lowest, if not horrific.

The great Flury's! Apart from being a cash-grab, there is just no compromise on service, quality and ambience! The menu is huge and you would be spending half your time going through it. Just be aware of unnecessary billings

A British era bakery cum restaurant located on the legendary Park Street of Kolkata.
Popular for its bakery products like cakes, pastries, patties, puffs, etc. The restaurant serves a selection of Indian and Continental cuisines.
The food here is a connoisseur's delight. I prefer the Continental dishes. I have a weakness for the cakes of Flurys.
Flurys is definitely a place for a fine dining experience.

It's a perfectly good bakery, but I felt underwhelmed- perhaps because I had heard it being praised to the high heavens.
They really need to bake their own buns for the burgers, since the burger bun was as insipid as a MacDonald's burger bun.
Certainly I expect a lot more chicken than a pink mayonnaise in my chicken croissant sandwich (no, it wasn't a thousand Island dressing).
And guys, clean the curtains, clean the loo, polish the black marble on the tables. I was itching to take a sponge and some pril and get going.

Worst experience i had in such a huge shop.

Red velvet pastry was just yukkky I can't even finish it. The other caramel one was better but not worth the money.

This was my second visit to flury's. Its famous for available breakfast menus. I just loved this place. One can have english/continental/joggers/american/kids breakfast. Apart from this patties puffs pancakes bagel sandwiches choices are plenty. You can trust anything. Price is little high.but worth it if you consider place heritage decoration and coziness and ofcource the quality.

Excellent place to enjoy good quality English breakfast. However the waiters require some training. Bith times during my visits they confused the orders

Had All day breakfast and flurys special tea. It was delicious and so filling! The ambience is amazing, a perfect blend of tradition and trend.

Very polite and energetic staff. No contact dining is maintained through e-menu.

Would recommend the English Breakfast which includes:
1. Ham/Bacon
2. Four Slices of Bread
3. Two sunny side up eggs
4. Two Sausages
5. Freshly Sliced Fruits
6. Coconut/Watermelon Juice
7. Coffee
8. Sauted mushrooms
9. Roasted Tomato with parmesan (tastes delicious)
10. Baked beans

I was here with my daughter on 2nd Apr'21 as a prelude tea treat to her 21st. A favourite on the menu was strangely not available. The open Swiss sandwich had lost its essence & had half- stale ham & underdone chicken scrapes. The wine ordered was too overpriced, as the quantity was suspect. Flury's no longer remains a fine dining experience any more!?

Having visited Kolkata for the first time, I was very much looking forward to trying out food from this bakery as it is one of the most talked about restaurants in Kolkata. But to my complete disappointment, I resented the food here! They did not do any justice for the bill I received. I ordered mustard chicken sandwich (Rs. 350), mayonnaise chicken sandwich (Rs. 350) and rum ball (Rs. 100). The food clearly passed a message that these prople are taking the customers for granted. Mustard chicken sandwich was horrible that it was literally like the raw sorsho paste, bengali ladies prepare to mix in the fish curry. I even wonder if they did add chicken in it. Mayonnaise chicken sandwich was not horrible but very bland and I can easily get that stuff for 50 rupees from the road side vendors. I think, they don't add any other ingredient in the sandwich other than what's actually in the name of the dish. Rum ball- call it a 'chocolate ball' but never a 'rum' ball. We have got a lot of cafes in Bangalore and this bakery can't stand near to even the least of them. I know that my rating is not going to make any change because the bakery has already earned a name for itself probably because of the legacy or because of the ignorance of the people and the city will continue to give this unjustified hype. IT IS ONE OF THE MOST OVER RATED AND OVER PRICED RESTAURANTS I HAVE EVER BEEN TO IN ALL MY LIFETIME!

This is an extremely popular restaurant in the most popular and busy street in Kolkata. It is a specimen of fine dining that also maintains its modesty by offering some very simple and basic dishes that can even be homemade.
Not just that, it is also a bakery.
But recently, based on my experience their quality of baked goods has deteriorated.
Also based on my experience their crowd management is weak and they can barely control a rush.
