Great place with south and north indian food, eating food on standing mod, good place for icecream, momo, all type fast food, cold water completely free obviously price is more than normal
They don't even start AC or fan till 9 am from morning. When I asked they told ac se Pani gir Raha hai.always they are giving same excuse but post 9 am AC will work.
Had a very good lunch after a couple of years. This place has opened again. The food served here is absolutely hygienic and fresh. The place remains crowded. However, I got a seat when I visited here again after such a long time.
Located in the old complex of the Howrah Station. You will get many types of snacks, drinks, and main courses of different cuisines. On the ground floor, you will have to stand and eat, there are tables for keeping your food. On the top floor there is a sitting place. We tried Veg Deluxe Thali and Chicken Handi Biriyani. The price is okay according to the quality and quantity. The taste is nice and the behaviour of the staff is also nice. You can visit them and try something out there.
I'm impressed by the food plaza's cleanliness and variety. It's a go-to spot for family outings. The kids love the fast food options, while the adults can savor diverse international flavors.
Located at Howrah station’s old complex, a busy junction in Kolkata, the food plaza is all set to offer high-quality and chemical-free food to its daily commuters. According to reports by several media websites, the plaza is going to have a diverse range of options for passengers, right from Chinese meals to burgers, pizzas and more. Other than this, you’ll also find basic Indian meals on the menu, with thalis consisting of vegetables, rice, and dal.
Earlier original food plaza was better in respect of quality of foods with its varities. Latest edition is so so although price is far higher and its live sandwich counter is pathetic one. Please check before ordering at the said counter. Just visited today with a bad experience.
Food Plaza is situated in Howrah station. Near the platform number 8. It is popular of the passenger of night mail. In this restaurant the food quality is so much good. The price of the food is low than Indian rupee 500. The behaviour of the waiter is so kind. Here you can fill your bottle or drink water from there. You can use also washroom of the restaurant.
Good place to wait and have some food Washroom facility also available and is clean too Lots of vendors with variety of option to choose from. Recently had this baked rosogolla while waiting.
I used the meals area on 1st floor for my lunch. I ordered a special veg thali for Rs180. It was really good, quantity and quality. Felt like homemade food. Totally satisfied my hunger. The only problem is, there's no system of reserving a table. You might lose your seat if you are alone and went to washroom. The ground floor area has Domino's, Mio Amore and Ice-cream parlour that's also good.
This place can satisfy your hunger with its exclusive good menu. It has chats, pastries, sweets, South Indian, North Indian and many more cuisines. The veg biryani, chicken biryani, mutton biryani, pastries, rasgulla, chole bhature and chats are my personal recommendation.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Food Plaza, and it was an exceptional culinary experience from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy ambiance that set the perfect tone for the evening.
The menu at Food Plaza is a culinary masterpiece. Each dish is a work of art, skillfully crafted with the freshest ingredients. I started with the papri chat, which was a burst of flavors that left me craving more. For the main course, I indulged in the masala dosa, and it was a revelation. The blend of flavors and textures was impeccable, leaving my taste buds in awe.
What truly sets food plaza apart is their commitment to excellence in every aspect. The service was impeccable, with attentive staff who were knowledgeable about the menu and wine pairings. The wine selection was extensive, offering the perfect complement to the meal.
To top it off, the dessert, gulab jamoon, was a delightful conclusion to the evening. It was evident that the chefs put their heart and soul into every dish, and it paid off in every bite.
In summary, food plaza is a culinary gem that deserves every accolade. It's a place where food becomes an art form, and dining is a memorable experience. I highly recommend [Restaurant Name] to anyone seeking an unforgettable culinary journey.
