Food Station

Earlier whenever I had a work in College Street area of Kolkata, I used the visit this this place most of the time. But today when I went there with my daughter everything went awry. I ordered simple Mixed Singapore Noodles and Chicken Oyester. But after 20 mins or so, the surprise of the day landed on our table. It was not mixed Singapore Noodles but it was mixed Singapore Fried Rice. When I pointed out the mistake to the waiter he was not at all bothered. Not even uttered the word “sorry”. However, did not raise the alarm rather ate the wrong dish patiently. The taste was just ok. I left in disgust. Decided never to return.

The food was okay-ish. Took a risk of trying something new and was disappointed. I've heard people saying the place is good thus I went. But maybe it's the choice of risk or maybe a bad day. Tried Pan fried chicken noodles where noodles were less and Veggies were overflooding. Then there was seafood pizza with fish and prawns. The cheese pull was satisfying but the taste wasn't up to my liking. Other people may like it. No offence!
The person who served me and my friend just suddenly took away the noodle bowl even though it was not finished and did not care to ask if we were done eating. The food that we tried was absolutely pricier than it should have been.
Absolutely not planning to visit again.
Must mention: The wall art was cool and the place looked cozy. Also the menu card design idea is appreciable.

The quality of their food is no doubt good. Ambience is also fine. They have a very huge two storied seating capacity and are completely air conditioned. But their service is not good at all, our experience was not good in that case, they took a very long time to prepare food then they served the wrong item due to their miscommunication and we had to take that anyway as they have already wasted our time. Anyways we liked the food but prices are on the higher side.

The menu is extensive. With indian. Oriental. Continental. Chinese. Italian. Served in this cosy place. They have two sitting areas and have free Wi-Fi as well.
You can order and spend a good time with friends and family.
They have thali options. Both vegetarian and non vegetarian.
Food delivered to your house is also available. The menu is sent on one's watsapp. And we can order from home.

Food is very average and quantity is not that good. And service is very slow. Disappointing

One of the best underrated restaurant in Central Kolkata, bang opposite Calcutta medical College, tram line side gate no 1.

Price moderate- appx 120/- to 300 rs dish price.

Food is always good. I visited this place after 22 yrs. But need something bright. Staff are still excellent like old is gold.

The place is too expensive according to the food that they are serving. So, I was kinda disappointed.

Good ambiance and AC restaurant with many options of Indian and some continental food. I ordered Mix fried Rice and Mint cocktails, the taste is quite hard to drink.
But overall Good

Food quality is very good. Atmosphere is outstanding. Price range is higher for middle class family. But service is extremely beautiful. You should try here. Chinese, Indian, Mexican manu dishes are available here.

The food was decent the atmosphere was good the price was also average but the service was disappointing it was really not up to the mark. The waiter was asking us to hurry up and order the food when we recently got our menu. We asked for water and the waiter forgot that we have even asked for extra water so overall it's a okay.ish experience for us

Nice and Cozy restaurant around the crowdy College Street. Space is pretty big. Food is very good. The staff is cordial and suggestive. Prices are very pocket friendly. Must visit if you're looking for a multicuisine restaurant. They really have a very vast menu with Chinese, Oriental, Continental and definitely Indian along with Starters, Snacks, Beverages and Tandoor options.

You will find every kind of dish from continental to Indian to Chinese. And the taste is also great.

The prices were really high compared to the quality/taste of food. Also the ambience wasn't good enough.

Decent hotel. Food is of adequate portions but my table got little attention from the staff in regards to ordering or providing the tables with salt, pepper or tissues.

Hakka fish is a must try starter here. Had Chinese here, delicious. Tasty but prices a bit on the high end. Desserts are good.try tutti frutti and caramel custard.lip smacking delicious.

It's a great dining place. Easy to locate from road. Just opposite the medical college bus stand, 2 mins walkable distance from calcutta university.
AC restaurant. Great ambience. Well decorated.

Behaviour of the staffs are polite, formal. They are helpful too.

Food quality is so good and the food is well cooked and delicious. Quantity is more than sufficient and quality is absolutely magnificent.

U can say that u can get good food in fair price here. The schezwan noodles, butter naan, crispy chilli corn of this place is awesome

Good ambience, nice service and most importantly the food was great. We tried mixed fried rice, chef special chicken, chili chicken and nan. All was great, but the south indian items are out of the world. Cheese masala dhosa, sambar vada and dahi vada must try items. The quantity served is good enough as compared to the price. The items are priced reasonable and pocket friendly. It's a must go if you visit college Street area

Food station is situated in College Street Kolkata. It is opposite to Medical College Gate. The ambience is average but the quality of the food is good. The price is reasonable and one can go with family. Good place for dinning. It remains a bit crowded in lunch time. Service is good and the staffs are well behaved. Sodexo meal pass is not accepted here.

Needs a spruce up. Cockroaches everywhere. Needs pest control. Food is good. Staff is courteous.

Me and one of my friend visited here yesterday! Food was good delicious, ambience Nice! But the compared to the price thw quantity was cheap.

Food, ambience, service, everything is fantastic here. This multi-cuisine restaurant not only offers a plethora of options but each dish is prepared exquisitely in the best possible manner. The service is great and you'd love every minute you spend there, whether you're in a group or with a special someone.

It's one of the places nearby Medical College which offers decent dining experience. As it is stone throw away from Medical college campus and has various cusine to choose from, it is saving grace for Medical college students, who are the majority of people dinning here. Food and service here is good. The environment inside is also in tune with food.

Previously it was a very good pocket friendly restaurant. But now it is below at par. You should visit hindustan dhaba; next to food station. It is a fantastic restaurant.

Try backed fish and check varta. Awesome taste. But they are always a little late to serve. Ambience is good.

All college street hunters already know about this place. I find the combos are great here. They are actually sufficient for 2 people. It is pocket friendly.

If you're in College Street and are looking for a decent restaurant, apart from the older establishments like Coffee House and Putiram, then your only choice is Food Station. It's been around for more than twenty years now and they serve multiple cuisines including Chinese, Mughlai, South Indian and Continental. I did spy a cockroach on my table in my last visit, but that was my first such experience in all these years. They are moderately priced, their portions are good and their food quality is satisfactory.

A restaurant with a huge variety in menu. From north Indian to south Indian, Chinese, Thai, continental, American, Mexican. Food is good. Ambience is good.

Oyster chicken, chicken fried rice it was. Other cuisines from menu are also tasty. Like chicken stroganoff, crispy chilli baby corn etc. Stagfs are well behaved. Can identify from the roadside.

Been quite an avid customer of this place as it's just on the opposite foot of my college.
Staff behavior is quite good and food quality is great, though quantity is a bit less.
It may seem a bit heavy on the pockets.
The ambience is nice and there is always slow music playing.
However the last time I went, they created a lot of problems with the bill.
First of all they didn't want to give us a bill. When we demanded for it they said that they had torn it up.
So I asked for their own bill copy, and they said that they had lost that too.
So I told them to show me the soft copy of the bill, and their response: they had deleted their bill records! I seriously didn't know what to say then, but it doesn't seem like they were up to something good.
Still food is delicious.

It's a great restaurant. The atmosphere is cosy accompanied with dim light. It's located at the heart of Kolkata, College Street. So whenever you're visiting College Street make sure to visit this place as well. The beverages are nice here. But one thing, the garlic bread was not upto the mark.

The ambience is too cool, right from decor to the designing of the menu. It's a good place for a group of friends dining together or for a private meeting. The quality of food is on average good but the quantity does not suit its price. The dessert is good as well.
