Friends Resort in Tajpur is a hidden gem. The rooms are top-notch, providing a comfortable and cozy stay. Horrible experience. During rain rooms got flooded from water drainning from roof and windows. Informed the management upon first visit, after 2 years conditions are similar.

Most 3rd class Reshorts. Not a Value of money Room condition are not good. AC Power cut OFF after main WBWDCL power failure. Each room are water leakage from room roof. Rain water also flow inside of the room. Only food quality is good.

Very well situated resort in Tajpur, beach is within 2 minutes walking distance. Rooms are very clean and spacious for a family. Behavior of the staff's are very cooperative. Food quality is also awesome, serves different categories of food with ease. Room charges are not on the costlier side.

The property is situated in a good location although the management is probably the worst seen one I have seen in this price point.

They are basically charging a premium amount for rooms with old bedsheets, literally non-existent cleaning stuff and cockroach infested unhygienic bathroom.

The staff is really laid back, they just want to charge you money for every possible thing without doing any work. The food is overpriced and its really better to go out to a shack to get your food in case you are unfortunate enough to book the property.

Training and improving the staff attitude can perhaps take this place to a higher level provided the fair enough location. My advice would be to avoid this property for the time being if possible.

Nothing is good in this resort rooms were not cleaned properly and staffs behaviour was rude as well as their staffs don't know how to co operate with guests.

Nice location. Friendly Staff. Maintained. The resort is located close to Tajpur Beach. The staff of Resort are very well behaved and prompt.

Food quality is good (pomplet, vetki taste was excellent). Room cleanliness good. Location is excellent from beach it is 5 minutes approx. Hotel environment is better than other hotels nearby. Very few hotels are excellent nearby. You can go to park nearby walking distance 7 to 10 minutes and there you can also watch huge red crabs on beach. You need to order your food previous day for dinner, lunch. Wifi connection was superfast but it is for particular duration so you need to ask manager. You can arrange campfire here also. There are many ponds, trees, birds I have seen around and feel so natural. Tajpur Sea beach is very clean and more lonely other than nearby beaches like mandarmani, digha.
They are very professional so respect of hospitality somewhere I feel they should upgrade more. They kept my IDs till my checkout: (.
But you will not be disappointed if you stay here.

Visited with my college friends. Rooms were excellent and the staff were very helpful and courteous. Food quality is excellent and reasonable considering the quantity served. Will be visiting again for sure. Keep up the good work

Nice place to hang out with friends and family. 5 min walking distance from seabeach and 30 mins by car from Ramnagar station.room service are also good.they will arrange the bonfire if you wish

Good resort. Good food. Good peoples around. Just 2 min away from tajpur beach. Good place for staying if you want to visit Tajpur. But keep one thing in mind that you have to be back before 11 pm as they shut their gate at that time (may be some kind of rules are imposed by the local authorities for every resort to keep the visitors safe). If you want to see the sunrise please discuss with the caretaker of the resort and let them know the timing when will you want to go.

Good location but very basic hotel. Though some of the rooms are ac but they are very basic and needs improvement. Food are good and the staff are very courteous which make me return back to this hotel. Hotels in Tajpur are not on the beach so don't expect any sea view room. You have to walk 4-5 minutes to reach the beach.

This is a very good small place with all basic amenities. In monsoon, insects are a common problem. We booked 5 rooms and 1 out of them experienced frog, cockroach and snake. What I personally feel that the rooms should be built in the opposite direction to let the seaside air to be blown. It would be better if there would be some open space between rooms to let the air go past. The homely atmosphere, the lawn is just too good. The behavior of manager and all the staffs are excellent. The food quality is very good.

Truly exceptional experience. Good ambience. Good staff's behaviour. Tasty food. Food package includes one day lunch (Bhetki/Ilish/Parse/Pabda/Promphet/Prawn/Chicken/Egg/Veg along with side dishes, evening snacks (chicken pakora & French fries and tea), Dinner (Roti/Rice Chicken/Mutton Kasha salad) Soothing songs, Beach is 5 minutes walk.

For one day ample food to meet your hunger. All AC.

Friends Resort is one of the best accommodations available in Tajpur. Its close proximity to the beach is an added advantage. Basically it is simple cottage type rooms with asbestos sheets and false ceiling underneath them, hence can get pretty hot in summer times, but then that is the normal practice in that area. Its better to opt for an ac room if travelling during summer. What makes this resort stamd out is its service. You can a have a full party with your friends with music systems etc (as long as it doesnt disturb other people), stay as long as you want in the open area, do whatever you want, they are not going to restrain you. And their food is something you are going to miss when you leave the resort. The quality of fish served is awesome. And quantity is also enough. All in all, this is a pretty good resort for spending 1-2 days away from the crowd.

Yes.the hospitality is pretty good.and the food quality too. You may find the price is quite high.but boss the quality best among all the hotels in Tajpur.when you step down at balisai bus stand ask for Dipak Toto driver. And the rest is worth of every penny. It was not my first time in Tajpur but first time in friends hotel.and next time onwards I will obviously stay here because of the staff behavior and the delicious food! And nonetheless the ambience.if you want mental peace and to feel the breeze with some drinks you must stay here once atleast! Then you can compare with others

It was very poor experience. Service and behaviour was very bad. Requested not to visit here anymore. High costing. Really not worth it.

Food & Lodging is okay.
But the management of the resort should pay attention for uninterrupted power supply as well as Pest Control in the rooms.

There is a ground for chay adda. Foods are fabulous.well decorated. Good for family and couple. Do visit there

Place is near to the beach and tidy enough. In house restaurant serves good food. Only catch is you need to take food plus stay package on weekends. Overall good value for money experience.

I am a yearly guest in this resort since 2012. Mamababu is the manager here. I visited here last week this month and seen resort amneties downgraded. New staffs are very callus. And this is my last stay in this resort.

হোটেলের রুম মোটের উপর ভালই । দীঘার মত হোটেলের আধিক্য না থাকায় দাম একটু বেশির দিকে । তবে দরদাম করা যায় । সবরকম খাবার অর্ডার দিলে পাওয়া যায় । রান্নার মান এবং স্বাদ বেশ ভালই । সবথেকে বেশি যে জিনিসটা নজর কাড়ে তা হল কর্মীদের ব্যবহার । বিশেষ করে নিতান্তই কম বয়সি একটি ছেলের বিনয়ী ব্যবহারে আমরা মুগ্ধ । বাকিটা প্রকৃতির খেলা ।

It's a good resort with nice rooms and plenty of open space. It also has a hammock area in the middle of the rooms. It is also covered with CCTV cameras in lawn and lobby area.

A very good budget friendly resort, 3-4 mins walk from sea beach. Excellent and heartly behaviour of management and service stuffs. Very tasty and delicious bengali dish (fish) with standard price, but don't try their chicken pokora.

Not a very nice place. Check before u do booking.there is a issue of rooms in Tajpur in peak seasons and weekends but all together there are resorts in the same price band but with much better facility. Please check for mosquitoes and room quality.

Staffs are nice and food is awesome. Room is okay and have nice attached bathrooms with geysers and 1-2 minutes from beach. In a. Nutshell you will enjoy staying.
