This place have less maintenance after land slide only thing you can do here is boating which cost you 50rs per head for unlimited time boating area is beautiful that whole lake surrounded by forest having waterfall in one side.

You must love the nature through the awesome water falls and also you have some enjoyment through the boating.
And also the flowing water is also very pure in the river of the parks which is observed as the flow of the water fall.
It is a place to visit the good location and water falls with low price of the government initialised charge with the park fee.

You must visit and enjoy

Park was good but too far from the main center also road were very dangerous. A very few number of visitors visits there. Also park is not well maintained.

Such a calm place to enjoy and spend time with loved ones. I did boating for just rupees 50 for half an hour and it was so calm and peace there that This was the best place I found in Darjeeling. No such other place was this much beautiful having waterfall and lake.

Quiet and peaceful place. But some maintenance is required to make the place more beautiful. Perfect place to visit specially for couples.

It's an amazing place. I've been going to Darjeeling for 40 years, and didn't know this place existed. It's a beautiful place with a water body, cascading streams, amazing natural greenery, a birdwatcher's paradise.
It's a place where families can come and easily spend the day.

Good place in the bottom of the hills. Its actually better then rock garden but as rock garden comes prior to this park so traveller rearly visit it as a result the park is not well maintained but talking of the real beauty keeping aside the cleanliness its better then rock garden. Car driver don't want to visit it as they need to cover some extra miles for it. But it's good to see the old real beauty of Darjeeling.

A good place in nature, it should be well maintained by the authorities. The boating lake is an amazing natural attraction of this place. Decently priced, you can enjoy with your family.

This place is hidden gem, the water thrusting over the rocks, the green tall trees, perfect place for camping and hanging out with the loved ones.

Ganga Maya Park is further down the road, about 3 kilometres (1.9 mi) from the Rock Garden. Named after an innocent victim of police firing during the GNLF agitation, “it meanders down the course of a chortling mountain stream, past gazebos, clumps of flowering shrubs and trees, over humped backed bridges under which koi-carp coruscate, and into a circular lake with paddle boats and a waterfall. ” It has a small lake where boating facilities are available. Gorkha folk dances are performed to entertain the tourists.

I went there years back.back then it used to be a lot more lively woth performers dancing and the area bustling with people.now however it's sad to see that there are hardly any people there, the seats have deteriorated and don't even get me started on the roads.the roads leading to Gangamaya Park and Rock Garden are very very bad

The place is nice but requires regular maintenance to attract more tourist. The road from rock garden to ganga Maya park needs to be revamped at the earliest.

The scenic beauty of the place is awesome. Government had made every thing to make the place more beautiful but as I saw there was no maintenance with the belongings. The chairs were rusted. The bridges made with iron are also rusted. The boats were also not in good condition. Requesting the concerned authorities to take care of this beautiful place so that tourist will regain the interest to visit this awesome place. One more point is the drivers aren't ready to take the tourists there, this is a severe thing. Authorities should also look into this.

Beautiful and peaceful place. It is near the Rock Garden. August - September is the off season so this place will not have much of a crowd. If you are visiting in the rainy season then you have to be extra cautious because the floor gets very slippery and there are no warning signs.

Ganga Maya Park is a park. There are many things to see in this park such as a beautiful gate, mountains, waterfall lake, waterfall sound, clear lake water, different colored fish, big rock pieces, green trees all around, flower bushes, different designs on grass, small bridges, steep paved roads, benches on different sides and various shops. The park has a variety of activities such as boats, paddle boats. There are also breathtaking waterfalls, where you can bathe or sit and talk to the person you love. In a word, it is an awesome park.
This park is dedicated to entertaining visitors. For all this, the park has attracted the attention of all tourists. The charming environment and delightful boat rides at Ganga Maya Park are very famous. For all this, the name of the park is known to the whole world. It is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Darjeeling.

The Gangamaya Park is around 10KM below from Rock Garden. If you have time, you can enjoy the peace and silence there. It's a beautiful place.

It's right out of some picture book, beautiful place, not much crowded.it's not a part of the seven destinations the taxi people will cover, you need to speak to your cab driver specifically to take you to this place. The roads however leading you to this place is pathetic and in some places all washed away because of land slides and rains (we visited in the rainy season).
But the place is unbelievably beautiful and you will take tons of pictures out here. This could have been better maintained, the toilets are not clean and boating was not going on when we visited. There are a few shops to sit and munch and enjoy the place. It is a big park and you should take time, it will be better to come in the first half.
This is a little far ahead of the rock garden, so you can visit this first and then while going back see rock garden, however i doubt you are going to like it as much as Gangamaya park. I would highly recommend this place to visit. It was the highlight of my Darjeeling trip.

জাইগাটা অনেক নিরিবিলি, কিছু দূরে যেয়ে আমাদের ভয় লেগেছিল। যাইহোক সুন্দর। এখানে একটা দোকান আছে নুডুস রান্না করে অনেক মজা। অনেক মিস করি সেখানের নুডুসটা।

Gangamaya park is beautiful and peaceful place to visit and this park is a good example of development with the nature without affecting its beauty.

Usually a less visited place.but it was a beautiful experience. Boating near a waterfall.flowing river.beautiful place in all.

Awesome view and beauty of nature. If you love nature you will surely enjoy here. Boating option is also available. It's quite peacefull here.

One if the best tourist spot in darjeeling but very few cabs take you this place, hence mark this place to visit.

Tourist attractions is less due to it not maintain properly. Road conditions are pathetic. Boating started.
Although maintenance work have already started. Per person ticket is Rs. 20 and for parking you have to pay Rs. 20 from ticket counter in the entrance gate. There is no extra charges for photography.
Natural beauty is the main attraction for tourists. Nature is also beautiful here. Fresh water coming from Natural fountain. Any one can swim here. Sitting arrangements also very good here. If you go total area in this park you have to burn so many calories due its hilly roads. You can easily take so many pictures here.
Food stalls are also available here but price is more costly than normal. Momo chowmin cold drinks beer chips also available here but not lunch items.
View of darjeeling city is also excellent. Boating have started, ticket Rs. 50 per person for 30 minutes. This is very attractive here.
You can spend more than one hour in this park but not too much.
If park maintain properly it looks good but due to bad maintenance tourist attractions faded now.
Nothing special is that. We didn't enjoyed.
Upper part is very congested and mainly tourist went down lower part of this park.
Overall experience of mine is not good in this park.
Roads conditions should be improved unless otherwise accidents happen in any interference of the way.
