Don't try North Indian South Indian is good, the vegetables are made in inferior quality oil which sticks on your tongue and too much chilly is used on them

An excellent place for hang out with family and friends. The food is extremely delicious and they maintain hygiene too. The staff members are very cooperative. I have been visiting this place for last many years.
A good place to have your lunch and evening snacks at a very reasonable price. Believe me, it won't pinch your pocket.

I ordered Chhola and bhatura. Bhatura was good but chhola was taste less very spicy and in Bengali teto.

So, it was Friday and we (me and my colleagues) had this awesome Chola Bhatura.
The food was fresh and tasty.

I was addicted to their Masala Dosa! Still the best place for a good vegetarian meal if you ask me.

I think they can improve cleanliness of common toilet and handwashing area.

Don't believe them- for them 12 minutes and 35 minutes are the same. It took exactly 35 minutes to serve a dosa (supposed to be a fast food) to a hungry customer who requested repeatedly for an early service. They concentrate more on delivery to online customers than the people who arrive at their restaurant. Avoid them if u don't want to waste your time waiting endlessly for your food.

Quite a pocket friendly with really delicious dosas. We tried a masala dosa and dhaniya dosa, both were superb and good portions. Staff is nice, so is the seating area. Also situated in a good location

South Indian cuisine is a must-try.value for money, it's a fast food center, but the ambiance of the restaurant is very average.

Decent vegetarian place. (Three stars because a medium glass of lassi costs 60 rs, (40 rs profit), same applies for other items and no option of non-veg available).

The manager who is at the cash counter is very rude and arrogant. He doesn't know how to talk to customers. Very much disappointed.

Gangotri has paucity of space, after having food we had acute food poison. Not a good experience!

Visited your place after 15/16 years since we no more stay in kolkata.had a very bad experience. I believe your cooking media was not good. On 12 th October had visited your place close to midnight. Had ordered chole bhature, radhaballavi, puri sabzi.

Gangotri is a really nice restaurant.
It is purely veg. I have been going to this restaurant for more than 8 years. Their best items are IDLI, MASALA DOSA, PAV BHAJI, VEG CHEESE SANDWICH, and Veg Thali.

Just as You enter in the lane of Restos in Salt lake sector 1 you have this resto on your left.
It serves Veg & South Indian dishes.we had south indian dishes and it was delicious.

I found hair inside the dosa alongwith which the dosa batter was very sour that predicts it was very old. I ordered it from Swiggy. Mantain Hygeine and serve your customers fresh.

Ordered a papri chat today from here. It’s disgusting. The quality of the food was worst. It’s the worst restaurant in salt lake. Trust me. It’s disgusting.

On my first visit, I really had pleasant experience. A little cosy eatery with variety of commonly preferred Indian dishes. South Indian food lovers must try the Gangotri Spl Dosa. It is filling and very well cooked. Stuffed with alu, paneer, cheese, butter, capsicum and carrot. It's quite heavy and delicious. The sambar and chutneys are not spicey and neither are they too sour. Personnels are cordial.

Food quality is very good. Me and my hubby we both are fan of gangotri veg thali. Bcoz we both are working and frequently I order dinner from here only. Its pure veg. And other foods are also very tasty. But their is one problem that the food is very spicy. When every I order food from any app I specially mention that plz make it little less spicy but still they send that much spicy food only. They deserve 5 star but bcoz of spicy food I will give 4 star.

Quantity of the food is an issue, quality is optimal, not recommended for bengali people with craving taste buds.

Good food at good price. I enjoyed 'Paneer Masala Rawa Dosa' here. It is a clean, humble, casual restaurant where you can enjoy your meals alone, or with your freind or loved ones without denting your budget too much.

Quality is not good as it should be. Granting of spices are uneven. You feel that spices are added without frying it. Also, Thick amount of oil has used as roadside dhaba are using for early preparation. The food quality is same as roadside dhaba.

One of the best veg restaurant in Salt Lake. North and South Indian foods are available in menu with south Indian speciality.

Took them 30 minutes to make a dosa. Staff is not very interactive, do not responds if you ask them how long it will take for your food to arrive.

A Veg restaurant at CF block, Salt Lake, Kolkata, besides Corporation Bank. Serves lovely South Indian and North Indian Veg dishes. Dosa, Idly is an all time favorite. Open from 8am to 10pm. Serves breakfast, lunch thalis, snacks and dinner too. Quick service. Small place with 5 tables each seating 4. Also does home delivery and Swiggy service.

Highly recommend the 'Cheese Masala Dosa. ' They just need to increase their interior space and seating. So, expect a modest waiting time on holidays.
