Good place to stay and enjoy your weekend, food is also good, the greenery near the resort is awesome, you can also hire a cab to visit the places like Maithan Dam, panchkot mountain and etc.

Awesome place and beautiful view but nearest no any local shop. The night view is more horrible but romantic.

Very picturesque place. The cottages are spacious and well designed. Food is also good. We were in a group of four families with kids and enjoyed the 3-day stay.

The view from room was awesome. We had enjoyed a lot, though this time is not a good one to travel there, as it rains continuously. The room was pretty good, but the shower was not working, there should have been a shelf under the mirror and the lock was not working of the balcony shutter. Indian cuisine was good but Chinese was horrible. One can travel with family or friends.

Food is very tasty. My compliments to the chef. Every meal was very well made from simple to complex dishes. The place is filled with beautiful yellow butterflies in the morning during monsoon. The staff is cooperative. There are 2 very handsome dogs. Both kept in a way that is safe for tourists. There are two gorgeous parrots too. Swimming pool was clean. Rooms have amazing view of the Gar Panchkot hill.

Very good place to stay for family vacation for small holiday with good food and complementary breakfast.

I saw the picture of the resort first. Outside view was amazing and the rooms are really big and well organized. I stayed in a four bedded hill view room. The view was totally mesmerizing.

[Good for couples/groups not good for families]. My 3rd visit. Went with family.earlier went with friends too. Nice place.good food.good rooms.and room service/staff behaviour is good. Only problem is that this resort gets mixed visitor. I ve often come across truly good people.however, on one ocassion we came across a group of bachelor's who occupied the pool for around 1.5 hrs, used vulgar language and passed comments on us. We dint escalate it as we saw people from the management nearby who dint feel the need to intervene. On another instance, came across people with pre-wedding errands and there was similar use of foul language.we had a 2 year old with us. The resort has a pool plus an in-house bar which attracts people with lesser social etiquette. The management doesn't really address the problems family travellers face for the partygoers. So for family travellers, I would suggest, pick some other resort

The rooms and the resort is excellent. However the food is not worth it. Not at all. The location is also remote and there is nothing around it. The food taste and quality should be improved based on the price. Service is good overall.

Beautiful location, beautiful resort, best time rainy season and winter season. Need to improve the restaurant service quality. They only give priority to the people who are staying at the resort, doesn't even bother to give the menu card or water to the people who are just visiting that place and went to the restaurant for having some meal. No doubt the food is great 5 star for that, but need to improve service quality.

Rooms are great, clean well maintained.garden is amazing.location is proper just beneath the hill.but the lunch was not good, egg was rotten, chicken was smelly, fish was also disgusting.breakfast was good️

Don't know whether to laugh or cry. I didn't stay there but had lunch at their restaurant. A small sized glass of coke costs 60 Rs. The service is bad too. You will have to keep on waiting for the whole day after ordering your food. Better try avoiding it and go for local food. They enjoy monopoly actually.

Garh Panchokot eco tourism is the best place to spent a quality time with your friends, family and loved ones. Its the place where you can enjoy the beauty of nature to the fullest. The view from the resort is so pleasant. There is a restaurent cum bar also. The food quality is more than my expectations.
It's located near Panchet Dam. If anyone is coming from Kolkata then nearest railway station is Asansol (ASN) / Barakar (BRR). It's just 30Kms from Asansol railway Station.

Location: Good.
Foods: Fantastic. Breakfast time ; 9am to 10: 30 am, Lunch time ; 1pm to 3pm, Dinner time 8: 30 pm to 10: 30 pm. Evening snacks also available upto 7: 30 pm.
Rooms: clean, well maintained, grooming kits provided.
Parking place is large, secured place.
Swimming pool available: 8am to 8pm.
Overall the property is well maintained.

The place, the environment the people, food, each and everything was so good. It was really a perfect weekend destination. Specially I loved the evening.the deeming light of full moon, the smell of raw soil was thrilling me.

Its a lovely place to stay with family and friends. Location is nice and in front of mount filled with Greenery. Views are awesome. Food quality is very nice. Hygiene is well maintained. Authentic bengali thali is available. Recommend to stay if you are a Nature lover.

We stayed here for 3 nights and 4 days but did not have an experience as expected. Ours was a family suit which is charged as per any 3 Star category hotel but amenities and services were not up to the mark. Post Covid sanitisation could not be witnessed and our repeated request to sanitize our bed during check in fell in deaf ears. You do not expect your shower not to work in your bathroom when you are paying around 4500 bucks a day. Food is highly overprized and quality exorbitantly over rated. One night we ordered for Moong Dal and they delivered Matar Dal instead. Offerings in breakfast are far below standard. Oil dripping aloo paratha and hard fried puri is a regular dish served for breakfast. There wasn't any punctuality in room service. Worst part was there check out system. Sharp at 11.00 guys came knocking at our door to move us out.it was ridiculous.

Extremely bad experience from various dimensions - hospitality, service, maintenance etc. Below are some of the examples:
1. The room we got was not well maintained. E.g. It had damp wall.
2. The room was next to a common toilet. The smell that was coming initially was intolerable. However they managed to somehow cover it later.
3. We had asked for bar menu in our room. They couldn't share that with us. Eventually we had to go to the bar and get the menu.
4. They created a huge fuss when we asked for 2 additional glasses when we ordered drinks from them. They said it would cost us Rs. 100 per glass. This was extremely SHOCKING to us. They behaved as if we were going to run away with those glasses. Probably my advise to fellow travellers is to carry your own whiskey glasses:)

Very unlikely I will come back ever to this resort.

Good resort with modern amenities, a swimming pool. Well maintained and clean. About 2 km from Panther Dam. Location is after the village and in the foothills of the hills. It's 12km from the ruins of the "garh" the palace of the local kings

Great property with outstanding view of panchet hills in the background. Well maintained, food is delicious. Its little far from Kolkata for a road trip, but road is mostly smooth.

Tents are more than good, but for good hill view, book rooms in the main building

Excellent resort amongst nature. Huge and sprawling. Swing, seasaw and many other play things for children. Rooms are excellent with tea and coffee making facilities. They have rooms as well as tent accommodations too

Very nice and friendly place to spend few days. Surrounded by Panget hill and forest. Large monkeys were around for company.
Restaurant is very good and serves all kinds of food. Rooms are very comfortable with all modern amenities including free Wi-Fi.

Bed sheets were dirty, the replacements were cleaner, but still a bit dirty.

The pillow cases were a bit dirty. We did not ask for replacements because they were about as dirty as the replacement bed sheets.

The blanket covers were very dirty and they did not have replacements.

The bed was rock hard and the mattress was very thin.

If you get a room with a 3rd bed, there is not going to be an extra bed. Just a mattress on the floor.

The bathroom only had lukewarm water for the shower. At least the toilet worked.

A lot of the other reviews are considering the available nature nearby. I have reviewed the hotel based on the room quality only.

A good experience of village away from the hustle and bustle of city. Its pretty cool. You will have battery autos for transportation. Swimming pool and small park is the facility you can use. Its a resort mainly for family functions, you can enjoy a day out with your friends in a group. The area is completely open. So I would suggest to better visit in group.

People will really love this place those who love natural hilly beauty.
1.you can drive to reach very near to the hill.
2. Very ancient temple is there.
3.parking local shops beautiful cottages for staying at night are available.
4. In winter people use to gather here for picnic.
