This is an average place in terms of availability of consumer goods. There are sufficient shop selling groceries, stationers and students' requirements, medicines, grab and bite cooked food and sweets, small electrical fittings and electronic repairs, jewelry, shoes and even apparels. Generally shops can be found open between 9.00 am and 10.00 pm. The Mondays are complete closure following Salt Lake's other markets' schedules.

Nice place to buy everything day stuffs. Variety of shops available for daily grocery, clothing and other needs. One should must visit this place, if leaving nearby.

This is an organizated modern local market for all your needs.such as: - Vegetable, Groceries, Fish, Sweets, Flour Mills, Cosmetics, Photocopiers, Printers, Puja Shops. Vegetables are relatively costly due cartel by shop keepers.
Here HDFC, SBI and two more banks ATM are available.

This market is a great place for almost all of your needs i get my hair cuts here, my groceries, my stationery from here i even bought one hand grinder this one time the shop vendors are really helpful and kind and there are two atms right outside the market and a printing shop as well so it's one place for students for all of their needs under one roof and yes it also have fresh vegetables and fruits all the time and it is open on Sundays but it's closed on Mondays that makes sense because we usually get most of our work done on Sundays

Small round market building. Daily using things are available hear here. In the corner of the market one restaurant is present there chicken roll is very tasty

Because all the required items are available here at a fixed price and the shopkeepers are like my family members. They are very well behaved

It is a preety good market but it's of old fashioned i.e. Its not modulated. Else everything is good, you'll find all kinds of stuff you want to buy.

You get almost every day to day necessities here including grocery, housekeeping, school stationery, photo studio etc.

Dirtiest market in the whole saltlake city. Toilet complex is terrible. Broken floor. Ac output unit installed anywhere without any permission. No passage to walk.

Monday is holiday. Stationary, grocery, electrical, eateries and egetables shop's are available. 3 ATMs kishok are there just nearby the market.

GD market is in Salt Lake Kolkata. For residents of G block to D blocks this is the major shopping centre. All daily needs including medicines, grocery items, vegetables, fish, and dresses.are available here. GD Bus station, Allahabad Bank Zonal office, Karunamayee international Bus terminal, Central excise & Custom staff quarter is very near to GD market.

It has almost everything u need in daily life. Even barbers are present. So go there and have a look.

Lifeline for students or hostelers. This is the only place where we got all the things, sometimes it is quite expensive.

Good location and good communication. It is near 12 no tank.susrut eye hospital and Homeopathy hospital is just a walking distance.

GD Market in Salt Lake, Kolkata has numerous shops that sell fresh vegetables, chevon, chicken and fish, milk, fruits, groceries & household items, plastic items. Like most of the designated block markets in salt lake this contains a mixture of shops for daily needs and luxuries with a few barbers, electrical and electronic equipment stores, sweet shops and medical stores. Mostly reasonably priced. This is the neighborhood market so don't expect supermarket style cleanliness and services although you will get most of the things required if not exactly in a large variety. There is no liquor store here.
