Gitanjali Cinema Hall

This is a great cinema hall.to be honest it's not comparable to INOX or some of the luxurious cinema halls.

But I went there many times and it's a value for money cinema hall.

The lives of five women, each with a different life story, get intertwined after a series of disastrous events leads to an introspection.

The movie hall is closed for past few months. No answer when call is ringing. Have they permanently shut the theatre. For a Bolpur resident To watch movies have to travel far away to durgapur.

The Cinema hall is adjacent to the Bolpur Bus stand. Cinematic experience, Sound system and picture quality is moderate. You can reach here by TOTO (Rs. 10-15/-) from Bolpur railway station within 15 minutes. There is an family restaurant named 'Ghare-Baire' attached with the premises.

You can find really cheap snacks here and movie tickets are also available at a very reasonable rate. But it's not a multiplex and only one show runs at a time. The place is enriched with the cultural beauty in line with Santiniketan theme. You will also find an attached resturant and shop with the hall, this forming a complex. Presently, it is under construction.

A perfect hall for entertainment. Seats are really very comfortable. No irritation, fully air conditioned. Seat capacity is good. But the audience front rows can face problems to watch properly. No problem to face a big amount of audience. There is a larger place. Overall a great Cinema Hall.

This cinema hall is our favorite.
Can enjoy movies in very nice setting. We can bring our family as there is this hall. I think this is the glory of our Birbhum.

One must have there lunch at GHORA BAIRA Restaurant if u like to experience nice bengali cuisines of bengal. I live the food a lot

Favourite cinema hall since childhood.
The auditorium (theatre) is very nice, the quality of the chair is normal, couple friendly, bookmyshow book option. (ভালোবাসা️)

Food was good, but The screen quality was poor, even dont know about brightness and contrast adjustment.

A very much good environment to enjoy cinema in Bolpur, also filled with regional cultural accuracy.

A good place if you want to have a good experience in budget, and also to avoid some of the nasty cinema halls. And they even show some Hollywood stuff from time to time, which in a small town, is impressive.

It is a big cinema hall and works as a heritage of Bolpur. The decoration is very good and very good place to see movies in Bolpur and you can visit this place as a visiting site. But the only thing is that the inside room of the hall is not so clear, but I honestly tell you that you will not feel regret for that if you watch a movie or visit the place as a looking site.

Just beside the jumbani bus stand, bolpur, Gitanjali hall is known for its looks, cool ambience. Hall and sound quality is quite good.

Obviously Gitanjali is the best option for us but the available food, I will suggest please don't take those.

I Think it is the Best and popular cinema hall in Bolpur under Birbhum District.

Video quality of 3D movie is much below the expectation. Seats were not comfortable. AC management was disappointing!

Beautiful infrastructure and everything in place. *But dusty, small screen with zero maintenance, making the film experience pathetic. *
Also the hall staff are casual in their behaviour leaving the hall door open most of the time, as a result their is a reflection on the two sides of the screen.

Nice place but, screen size is a bit smaller than it should be and chairs are also not so much comfortable.

This cinema hall is well attractive.

Sound asper value good, ac asper value good, staff behavior also good, clean toilet, but only one things which is need to improve or change that's screen, screen is not clean & clear.

A building specially designed for cinema screening. Open yard and nice garden made it unique. It's good expense & ofcourse you can have latest Bengali, Hollywood and Bollywood blockbusters. There is snacks shop inside the cinema complex.

Amazing place.it is spacious and special. Even shooting of films are done here. Shantiniketan has a touch of Rabindranath Tagore all over it.

Most of the popular and latest movies are available here. Comfortable sits and snacks are also available.you can buy tickets online from book my show website or from it's ticket counter.

Screen quality could be better.otherwise comfortable seats, AC, Pop corn, cold drinks are also available

It is a signature architecture and multipurpose auditorium in Bolpur- Santiniketan which is a international tourist spot.

It was the adjacent restaurant called'Ghare baire' that we enjoyed on this evening. Food was good, ambience better!

The cinema hall is good. Location is good. Ac is working fine. Sound quality is moderate. Chairs quality is not up to the mark. These are not maintained. Timing is not punctual. Our show timing was 7.15 pm. However we were allowed to enter around 7.35 pm. There is only one screen.

Very good cinema hall. But now it is becoming time pass place for many bad peoples. I am requesting to the cinema hall people to plz plz look into this matter. Otherwise it is good

Worst feeling. No value for money. Uncomfortable sitting. Mono sound. AC doesn't work. Bottom chair person came to balcony after interval. I should give you guys zero but there's no option. Previous Gitanjali was far better that this one. You guys have done no maintaince and just destroyed a beautifully designed cultural centre. Shame on you SVF.

Clean and well maintained interiors. The town's best hall and they play hindi, bengali films - latest releases. Great viewing experience with value for money.

Screen is 3 out of 5.
Seating is not comfortable cause the seats are not good and of little cushioning with narrow lanes so no leg keeping place.
Sound quality is okay.
3D movies playing are not upto mark.
Parking place available with 5 rupees coupon.
Near hotel and Market.
Price range for this quality is high I feel.
Rear stall is okay but if you sit on balcony it's pathetic.
Until unless you want to go balcony I suggest you should take rear stall.
Food and beverages served are good and can improve.

The environment outside the cinema hall is very eye shooting. The arrangement is very artistic as it is situated on very own land of Rabindranath Tagore. The cinema hall is overall good, though the picture quality is not that praiseworthy and the ticket price has been increased beyond its quality.
