The food is delicious and reasonably priced. They have special thalis after 8 p.m. But the service tales awfully long and the restaurant is somehow always empty.
Worst experience. Had to wait for an hour to get our food. Employees have a very casual attitude and in no hurry to serve, while people keep waiting and getting irritated. On top of that, bring a vegetarian, I ordered vegetarian but got non vegetarian instead. Will tell others never to dine here in future.
Pathetic service, takes minimum 45 mins to serve babycorn starter and soup as well. No staff. Only 1 person who serves, cleans tables, pick up plates and also takes and does billing. DONT TRY THIS PLACE EVEN IF YOU DIE OF HUNGER.
HEALTH HAZARD WARNING. Don't mistaken this restaurant's posh location to be anywhere and anyhow close in it's cleanliness and quality to it's neighboring restaurants. I went to this restaurant on 26th December, ordered Fried rice, Kung Pao Chicken, Lemon Fish, Butter chicken. WITHIN 18HOURS of consuming this food (had no other food in between) developed the worst kind of FOOD POISONING. Vomitted severely for 2 whole days. Had to get admitted in the hospital itself and get IV fluids, and parenteral antibiotics. BEING A DOCTOR MYSELF, I'm writing this out of concern for all others out there because I have suffered so much, I hope you don't have to.
Golden Spoon is a restaurant which is located in Park Street. It is one of the cheapest restaurants in Park Street. The quality and taste of the food is average. This is a very good place for students and if you're a North Indian food lover then you can surely visit this place. It is an Average Food in a Reasonable Priced Restaurant.
Dine in experience was very disappointing for a place like park street. We almost waited for 1 hour to get the food served. Though the starters were good. Bad smells used to come from Bathroom, there is no option to lock the bathroom from outside. Horrible experience. Don't visit here.
Very much disappointing dining experience for a place in Park Street area. We just waited for almost 1 hour to get the food served. The side dishes we ordered for the main course came after 20-30 mins later after the main course being served. When I complained the manager for this horrible customer service, he annoyingly replied that their kitchen is small & there is only one working staff present. After repeated request they kept the bathroom door opened, bad smell coming from the bathroom area, as there is no option to lock the door from outside. Overall it is a horrible experience for us. I will suggest not to visit here.
This used to be the best roll outlet in the area but since they franchised across Kolkata, their quality of food has taken a massive hit. They have also started cutting down on putting for example paneer in a basic paneer roll. The quantity has been reduced by 30-40% of what it used to be earlier and the taste just isn't the same. I have been going there since childhood but since their expansion i have shifted to kusum rolls which still gives priority to quality over quantity.
Dine in experience was very disappointing for a place like park street. We waited for almost 20 minutes to get the side dishes of the main course. Though the starter was good. We ordered chili chicken in side dish but they brought schezwan chicken instead of that. They kept the bathroom door open, there is no option to lock it from outside. The overall experience is horrible.
Fully lived up to my nostalgic remembrances. Best place for Rolls, crispy Paratha and well cooked chicken pieces. Other places are overrated. Sit in AC comfort and bite into slices f heaven.
A small eatery off Park Street on Middleton Row, great for some Chinese Snacks, starters. The place is cozy and not too crowded. Well budgeted to pockets.
Dine in experience was very disappointing for a place like park street ️. We waited for almost an hour just to get starters. Though starter was good but the schezwan chicken and the chilli chicken were horrible. Lemon chicken and the fried rice were decent enough.overall experience is not good in this place.you can find better Chinese restaurant in park street area.
Best rolls in Kolkata can be found here at very cheap prices. The restaurant was clean and tidy. Staff was very friendly. However other than rolls other food items are a little bit costly.
Try to ignore this resturent. They served very poor quality food items. Maximum item is not available. Service quality was also poor like foods. They forced to select chicken items only. Over all experience. Very bad.
This is located in park street near Loreto college This place has been newly renovated. Earlier it was a small shady restaurant. Food was quite delicious. Quantity wise it was okay. But most of the items on the menu weren't there. We wanted to try prawns and pork, but had to opt for chicken due to it's unavailability. We ordered the following dishes - Kung pao chicken, Chicken mushroom soup, Chilli potato and Fried rice Food was quite affordable. The bill had come to around Rs 800 approx
Food was quick and tasty. Staff was polite and understanding. A little bit of cleaningwas needed as the seat had stains on them. Throughout experience was good will think about a second time visit.
Nice cozy atmosphere for spending leisure time with eatting out some delicious food stuff. Pocket friendly price is guaranteed. Indian, Chinese, and Continental menu available.
Only one attendant. Service was very poor. Did not provide cutleries. Food taste was really bad. Price was high compared to food quality and restaurant service. Very congested and uncomfortable dining experience. Quantity was fine but the chicken biryani had a uncooked chicken. Not satisfied at all.
This place is mostly for take-away orders. Famous for it's delicious chicken rolls. The place gets crowded during evenings. Lot of cars parked around waiting for their order.
In this chaos, I wanted to try the restaurant and it's service. So I entered the restaurant and ordered some Rice and a chicken side dish.
I have to say that the place is not at all crowded inside. And the service is really quick and the staff members are really polite and helpful. The food they serve apart from rolls is also very tasty. Chicken is really soft and spicy that gives perfect taste of all the flavors and spices in it.
It's a small place but the variety of dishes they serve is commendable. And with the same standard quality. This makes this place quite famous as it deliveeres quality food to it's customers.
