Quality of sweet may be good but behaviour of the people selling sweets especially the owners is extremely bad. Treats customers very badly. Never recommended as there are many shops around.
I visited and it was my first choice shop and taking refreshments. But now a days regular customer flow seen less however. Dry sweets not satisfactory. Rossogolla still good.
I experienced very rude behaviour here from the senior (most-aged) seller. They pretend to be sole sweet seller and they provide items at free of cost to customers. Another thing I would mention that they have necessary setup to maintain covid 19 protocol.
I would suggest that people should buy sweets from other shops that are available within few metres if they value their self respect.
Owner is as sweet as dessert, it was raining outside and i had to reach somewhere then i asked him for a polythene he helped me with a polythene, small but sweet gesture.
They give mere palatable sweets and samosas at moderate prices. The sweets are fresh for most of the times. Although they are delicious but sometimes the quality degrades depending upon the days of freezing of sweets. It's quite a popular sweet shop on the Old Calcutta road, Barrackpore. Thank you.
Bought Malpua yesterday and found one of them smelling bad. Upon complaining the owner denied and gave irrational excuses. Being a sweet lover, I can easily say which one smells bad or is rotten. No one has any intentions or interest to complain for a 10 INR sweet and ask for something in return. Any good businessman would have shown a good gesture rather than arguing. The sweet shops in BARRACKPORE must be reviewed by Food Inspector or authorities with immediate effect. Couldn't share the pic as I already gave it to the sweet shop.
This store is pretty good, for sweets you can find verity of the sweets. Price is fair. And the famous thing form this store is kalakand.i love this store to buy sweets from here
