Ambience is good, snacks and sweets has variety of options to try. Mostly fresh. Fair rates.

Haldiram is always a great choice for us, specially their ghee laddu and gulab jamun and chole bhature.

Haldiram's is a chain of shops in Kolkata and outside, selling quality sweetmeat, namkins, pickles and lots of other edibles.
We, in Bengal, are fond of sweets made from fresh cottage cheese. But most of the sweets made ar Haldiram are made from keer.
If one is looking for typical Bengali sweets, this is not the place for him.
Items are a bit over priced, but the quality is not extra ordinary.
