Very nice temple. The place is also good. Road connectivity is very good. I must say, it is well maintained. "Bolidaan Pratha" is not there now. You can have "Prasaad" if you want. It costs Rs. 50 per packet. After covid they have introduced packet system. Earlier there was sit and eat system with temple persons serving. Now you can open the packet and eat there. If you want, you can take it to your home also. Prosaad ticket closed between 10: 30-11AM depending upon the rush. One hour is enough. There is not much to do except puja.
A different feeling arose when I first laid eyes on this temple. From the structure of the temple to the architectural craftsmanship is of a different level. There is a magnificent pratima of Maa Kali and this is the main attraction of the temple. The environment of the temple is also very beautiful, various green trees are planted around, although there is no permission to go there but still it is also nice to see. Not to mention some things, the behavior of the people taking care of the temple here is very good. Photographs of the main idol of the temple are allowed, but selfies cannot be taken in front of the idol which is not a bad thing. The temple is open from 10 am to 2 pm and from 4 pm to 7 pm. I feel lucky to come to the temple. If you don't come here, you won't understand the value here. Apart from this, various items for worship are easily available around the temple. Finally, I will say one thing.and that is "JAY MAA KALI".
A good weekend or holiday destination with family. Puja items are available there. Visit the temple, offer Puja and enjoy the beautiful place. Selfies inside the temple are not allowed but one can capture a picture of the idol. Shoes need to be kept outside of the temple premises with minimal charges.
A very beautiful temple which, somehow resembles Cathedral of St Basil in Moscow. Woodworks and brickwork/concrete have been used in this structure very nicely. But if you notice carefully, you will find that the temple is not in well maintained condition. There may be some reasons as it is private property of Bansberia zaminders. When fresh painting works are done, it looks just awesome! Two wheeler paid parking is there before entry gate where you can keep your shoes also for safe keeping. There is no entry fee for visiting this place. It is near Kalyani -Triveni river bridge and temple top is visible from there. A Terracotta temple adjuscent to this, is an added attraction.
Maa Kali is worshiped in Hanseswari temple. Famous area. Car bike parking available. If you want to visit the temple in the evening then you can enjoy this place
An old temple.very nice structure.behind a temple of narayan built with terracota sculptures on the wall.visitors from different places of west bengal and from outside come to see the temple.worship mother Hanseswari. In front of the temple there are ruins of zamindars haveli.

Hangseswari temple is a Hindu ratna temple located in the town of Bansberia at Hooghly District, West Bengal. The presiding deity of the temple is Hangseswari, a form of Maa adi parashakti jagatjanani dakshina Kali in Hindu mythology. In December 1799, Raja Nrisinhadeb Roy Mahasay laid the foundation stone of this temple. But after completion of the second storey in 1802, the founder died leaving this far-famed temple incomplete. His second wife Rani Sankari completed the rest of the work in 1814. The temple is known for its unique ratna architecture.
It is a remote temple of devi shakti so crowd is thankfully still under control.the little of the old design that is left is really mesmerizing! The system maintained is well managed locally.a place for washing hands is just at the gate and shoes can be left right at the gate quite safely.the temple is spacious allowing movement easily.there are stalls nearby just like our other bengali temples of goddess Kali for getting stuffs for pujas. A last request to all visiting the temple though.there are a few dogs staying in and around the temple who belong more to that place than any of us visiting there.so kindly dont try to shoo them away.they are absolutely darling and peaceful in nature.thank you.
A real wonderful place. I have visited this place numerous times.
The time of Puja is from 11am - 12pm in the morning.
The temple womans most probably at 6: 30am, and if you want to offer personal puja, you can come anythime before 11am and offer. The Brahmins stay in there.
You can witness along with this beautiful temple the heritage Radha Krishna mandir just beside it.
The place is clean, calm and serene. Take your next one day outing here.
Nice place. Beautiful teracotta design. At present it is very well maintained. Declared as a heritage sight. Presently due to covid norms no one is allowed to enter inside the temple. But still one can see the goddess from outside. The ganga river flowing on the back side of the temple adds to the beauty.
