Happy Valley Homestay

Polite courteous family. Near to DM office. Bit far from mall but peaceful place. Rooms were tidy and clean. Near to Darjeeling Bus Stand. The food cooked by the owner was awesome. The only disadvantage is a bit water scarcity. Overall Nice. Value for money.

Amazing place.genuine people run this place who really help you out, very friendly atmosphere, informal and cordial all the time. I will recommend it to everyone who is visiting darjeeling. You will totally feel homely enviourment here. Loved this homestay

Good place to relax for a few days.
But the problem with this place is the location. It is about 20 minutes walk from the Mall, the town center. One could have accepted it had it offered breathtaking views of Mt. Kanchenjunga, for which Darjeeling is famous. But no! In order to have a decent view of the mighty Kanchenjunga, one has to walk 15-20 minutes from the home stay.
Even the valley view is blocked.
Apart from the location though the property is nice and the owner is a good person.

This is nice and cool place to stay, you can get it in cheap as well, food and maggi are awesome try once at least

Location wise away from mall area. Staircases are horrible. Rooms are good including toilets. But in my next visit I will not prefer this homestay.

This is a home away from home. Met some wonderful kind people, shared their home and felt like I have become a part of the family.
