Sweets are awesome. I have been visiting this sweet shop since my childhood days. Quality still remains the same but staff behaviour is not satisfactory.
Worst service. Hazra is not as in past.quality quantity price all are worst they show big size sweets and given smaller size and on objection they did not pay any heed shame
After trying so many sweets shop in Asansol, I could finally say that Hazra Sweets is my favorite sweets shop in the city. A huge variety of Bengali sweets are available in this shop. Starting from kalakand to Sandesh and many more types of sweets. I tried chena halwa, kalakand and Rasmalai. Chena halwa was completely a new type of sweet for me. I had never tried something so awesome earlier. Like other halwas, its texture is also dry and the sweetness content was as per the requirement. It was not too sweet as a result there was a perfect balance of taste and texture. Rasmalai served here is the best in the city. Along with sweets they also serve snacks like samosas and bread pakoras. Do try the bread pakoras as they are crunchy and delicious.
People are rude, do not respond properly. Quality of sweets has degraded drastically. Prices are quite high as compared to quality. The sweets looks good but taste is the biggest let down. It used to be one of the best sweet shop in Asansol. But gradually with increase popularity they have started to compromise with quality
This is really a good place for sweets. You will get variety of sweets here. The rate is also reasonable. The behavior of the staff is pleasant. Apart from sweets you can also get snacks here. I recommend to visit the place if you are a sweet lover.
One of the well known sweet shops in Asansol is the Hazra Sweets. Having many staff members, makes there's work efficient and you don't have to wait there for long but the only con is that it becomes too crowded sometimes due to the small area in Receiver's side.
Decent shop especially for sweets for marriage ceremony or any kind of celebration. Also varipus kinds of packaging offers and dry fruits available here for reasonable price. Personally verified.
Although no sitting space but to maintain the quality of sweets, limited quantity is made, since the shelf life of sweets are not more. Therefore not only the sweets remain fresh but also, maintains the quality. Other than sweets, salted local items are also available.
Best kajukatri is at Kanti Sweet. Normally are the sweets test well at Kanti but i would still don't like there Gulab jambun. The most popular item here is however, the chat counter frequented by regulars. Samosa and kachoris are good. Some branches provide lunch too, with a limited menu.
Not a sweet tooth. So I cannot judge the sweets. But its a good shop with plenty of stock. Apart from sweets and snacks, they also have chocolates, fruit juice, chips and namkeens from top brands.
One will find the standard Bengali sweets line up here with additional snacks like cream roll, sandwiches and samosas. Price is fair and quality of food is better than most places in asansol.
I love to eat puri, singara and kachuri better than sweets of this shop. If you visit there in the morning and evening time, you can witness the crowd before the shop and its selling rate.
One of the best sweet shops in Asansol. My favourite is the Bhapa Sondesh. Established at lower chelindanga, very close to volvo bus stand, is a perfect place for quick snack and pack & go.
