Breathtaking views, great food and service…. Wat else do we expect…it was the best Homestay I ever stayed…Mr. Paulzor is the sweetest host I came across…I will visit again to chill at this place…

This was my second time at Heyagriva. It is beautiful homestay with the perfect view, aesthetically decorated, cosy rooms and the most warm and friendly hosts. Icing on the cake are the fur babies- candy, brady and the over friendly cat

It was an amazing and enriching experience at the homestay. The hospitality of the Heyagriva Family is unmatched. They treat their guests as a part of their own family. I travelled with my parents and my dog and she loved the place more than us. The terrace at the top floor was her favourite place to run around and she also received the same love and affection from the Heyagriva Family. The view from the terrace was breathtaking be it during sunrise or at any time of the day. Their pets Candy and Brady were sweet additions to our trip. The sumptuous breakfast is the best I have had till date in a Homestay. Their special cuisine which includes Nepali Thali, Kauri, Thukpa, Kothe were amazingly lip-smacking. Guests should definitely try them.
It is not very far from the Chowrasta Mall just a 15 minute walk. Anyone who wants a quiet and peaceful getaway from the maddening crowd of Chowrasta, this place is a must visit

Darjeeling was different from here. Everything was just perfect. Will visit soon heyagriva.

Homely and cool environment, food was great, tea and coffee were complementary by sweet host Mr Paulzr. He also arranged us cab for sightseeing and drop, only drawback was that the bed which was making sound during even a slight movement. Rest was good

One of the best homestays I have been to. The view, the food, the ambience and the host, everything is amazing. Takes you 10mins to reach the mall road by walking.

And not to forget the cute doggos (and a fluffy cat) who are there to welcome you once you enter the property.

Very very happy that I researched a little and decided to choose Heyagriva as my accommodation before my Darjeeling trip. Things I liked:
The people of Heyagriva are very welcoming and their behavior makes your stay more comforting.
They provide tasty lunch and dinner at very reasonable prices. The complimentary breakfast is to die for.
It's a 15mins walk from Chowraasta and the view from the top floor is priceless. You can see Tiger Hill, Namchi, St. Paul's school and Kanchenjunga (if you're lucky).
They provide extra blankets, bedsheets, dryers, heaters.

Thank you for making my trip so memorable. Can't wait to visit again.

It was my first trip to Darjeeling and Heyagriva made it so special I will always remember it in my heart. A little away from the busy mall situated on the Tenzing Norgey road, its an ideal place for youngstars who does not mind a little bit of walk and excercise. Paulzore and his family welcomes everyone with a big smile and open arms. Along with the amazing view of Tiger Hills and Kanchanjungha from the terrace I enjoyed sipping into a cup of warm tea or coffee which they serve 24*7 complimentary. Paulzore shares a lot of stories of his life experiences whic made me feel very homely and accepted. He also guided us to a few lesser known destinations which are worth visiting like the Alubari Monestery which was established during WW2 for world peace or the Alubari Tea Garden which is the first ever tea garden in Darjeeling district. We enjoyed the walk in the morning while exploring these places.the quiet roads and the amazing natural beauty alongside the road took all our exhaustion away.
Back to Heyagrive the room which we stayed in was extremely cozy, had all amenities, 24*7 hot water and a terrace with amazing view.
Breakfast and dinner was included with our stay. One can also get lunch if you pre-order. Food was delicious and served with a lot of care and love. You can choose from the variety of pickles they have with each meal. Paulzore made us a hefty breakfast one day which we litterally struggled to finish but could not leave even a bite it was so delicious.
Last but definitely not the least in fact one of the main attraction of Heyagriva is definitely Braddy. If you love four legged furry friends then its the place for you. Braddy is a sweatheart, stole my heart, such a well behaved black lab. He and his 2 friends Tinky and Jhumli will add some more fun to your stay.
I am definitely going back there and I would highly recommend all (if you don't have knee problem and okay to climb 2-3 floors) to check this place out. Am sure you love every bit of it.

Excellent homestay. We opted for a deluxe room and it was on top floor. The view from the terrace is excellent. The food is homely.

Hosts are very helpful. They helped us a lot when my 3 year old kid was sick during the stay.

I recently traveled with my friends and wife to Heyagreva, a homestay hosted by Paulzor and his wife in Darjeeling, and I must say that it was an amazing experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home and comfortable.

Paulzor was an excellent host who helped us plan our trip to North Sikkim. He provided us with detailed information about the places to visit, the best time to go, and the modes of transportation available. His recommendations were spot-on, and we had an amazing time exploring the beautiful landscapes of North Sikkim.

During our trip, Paulzor arranged for a driver named Sunil to take us around, and he was just as helpful and supportive as Paulzor. Sunil was very knowledgeable about the area and took us to unexplored places in North Sikkim that we would have otherwise missed. Even when some locations were blocked due to heavy snowfall, Sunil took us to alternate sites that were just as breathtaking.

The homestay itself was cozy and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the food served was delicious and authentic. We particularly enjoyed the local tea that was served, which had a unique and refreshing taste.

Overall, our experience at Heyagreva was not just about the beautiful scenery and excellent hospitality, but also about the warmth and friendliness of the hosts and their adorable dog, Brady. We would definitely recommend this homestay to anyone looking for an authentic and enjoyable experience in Darjeeling. The hospitality of Paulzor and his wife, coupled with the excellent trip planning and driver support from Sunil, made our trip to North Sikkim an unforgettable one.

Really home atmosphere in the homestay with very much supportive Paulzor daju and his beloved wifey (Didi). Had a delicious breakfast experience.

A home away from home in Darjeeling. A perfect comfortable place to stay. The hospitality of the host is commendable. The ambience is more vibrant with the presence of their super friendly black four-legged member. Absolutely recommended.

Stayed in Heyagriva during my visit to Darjeeling in the month of January end. It was an awesome experience. Such a homely feelings. Each and every member of Heyagriva is so much caring. The stay was also very beautiful and the most attractive was the sunrise just from the terrace of the homestay. One will get better view of the sunset than compared to Tiger Hill of Bhubaneswar. The food were homemade and very tasty. Surely I will again book my stay here during my next visit to Heyagriva.

The homestay is just 10mins walk from Darjeeling Mall but away from the tourist crowds. We stayed for 1 week as part of work from mountains. The service & food was really nice and owner Paulzor was a great guy who took care of our whole stay and will also entertain us with his stories and songs.

We are a family of five visited from US along with my brother and his family and my sister and her family from Kolkata. We were a party of 10 stayed here for 4 days. I came to know about Heyagriva from my sister and booked our stay here. We had a fantastic time! The main thing which we loved is Paulzor's nature to care about his guests. It's NOT typical hotel where you can buy hospitality with money. He and his family really cares about guests and their well-being. They take great care of food making sure guest like them, add variety and ask for feedback. In 2 instances my wife and one of my daughter's fell sick. He co-ordinated w/ local folks and make sure we get priority in local hospital to see doctor. Later, my wife stayed there while we went for sightseeing under his assurance. And he literally took care of that. Checking on her time to time, making soup and other food for sickness etc.
I would highly encourage everyone to try their service. They are truly serving people!

Lovely experience at Heyagriva. From the beginning to the end, our hosts made sure we are comfortable in every way possible. The rooms are cosy and comfortable, and the food is great as well. Plus if you're a dog person, there's MANY of them to keep you company. Amazing experience that you'd easily come back for.

My conversation with Paulzor started long back when I booked by train tickets and decided to spend couple of days in Darjeeling in December.
Paulzor and his team had been a wonderful host and starting from the room, food and hospitality was top notch. He even suggested me places/shops where I can dine-in and get the best of the woolens; and trust me his suggestions were simply superb. We got the best of the deals everywhere.
The added advantage of Heyagriva is the super-fast wifi; was able to do some of my office work staying within the comfort of the room.
Coming to the food - simple, tasty and was provided with whatever was requested for. Rooms were extremely clean and the balcony has a clear view of Mountains and one doesn't need to venture out to see the mighty Kanchenzanga. The mall is just a ten minutes walk.
Thank you so much Paulzor for being a wonderful host. We as a family enjoyed our vacation/stay thoroughly. Heyagriva would be my place of stay whenever I am in Darjeeling next.

It was a wonderful experience at Heyagriva. Mr Paulzor is a wonderful host and the place itself is great for unwinding from the hustle and bustle with a wonderful view.

I don't have any words to explain how wonderful Paulzor had been in hosting us. After staying with them, I can say for certain that Darjeeling is not going to be Darjeeling without Heyagriva for me.

The owner will guide you at every step and you will feel like you are living at a close relatives house.

They were even kind enough to give us an extra room for which he did not even charge us.

Go for this homestay, this is a decision I will never regret.

We went as a couple and this has been the best trip we have taken so far to darjeeling. This whole property feels like "Home" only because of their amazing host Paulzor. He's such an exceptional host and Human being, he wouldn't let you feel down even for a second. The rooms, view, food, services, breakfast everything was outstanding. It's just walking distance from mall road yet quite aloof from the whole city's hustle bustle. If you're someone who enjoys experiencing the local culture and people around, this is the best option. We can't wait to visit again.

Our stay was delightful! We really felt at home. The food was delicious and diverse. We liked so much that we came back from the city to have dinner every single day. Paulzor is a fantastic host with a great deal of stories from his mountaineering adventures. Also he helped us with everything we needed.
The location is excellent, sufficiently away from the buzz of the city but just 10 minutes walk to the center. The views are gorgeous

One of the best homestays that one can wish for. Though a bit far from the Darjeeling Mall (about a kilometre), it compensates with the excellent panaromic view one can get from the homestay terrace. No need to go to Tiger Hill for witnessing sunrise or Kangchenjunga. The deluxe rooms on the terrace has the best views. Rooms have all the amenities required.
Also the host, Mr. Paulzor is a gem of a person. He and his family had made sure we had the most comfortable stay.
