The overall stay in the hotel was pleasant. A special mention for the hospitality of the staff. Everyone from the front desk to the restaurant and the support staff were excellent. However, when one books a hotel with the IHG Group, a certain standard is expected, which unfortunately, this hotel failed to deliver. 1. The musty smell in the corridors needs immediate attention. 2. The rooms are not as clean and comfortable in terms of the fixtures, the walls. There were damages in the bathroom fixtures. 3. The extra bed and mattress needs to be upgraded. It’s very hard and uncomfortable.
Hoping that the review is taken constructively and changes are made accordingly to ensure that it truly lives upto the standards expected from a Holiday Inn.

Hotel is good, it is near by the Airport, If you are Bengal region Food option is good, Restaurant staff is very helping. Chech out process is quick. For check in and reservation confirmation process is not much User friendly.
Good hotel compared to express format. Room is decent. For overnight stay for single or couple is good. Not at all suitable for more than 2 people. Have great locational advantage. Service seems little slow.
The hotel staff earnestly assist the guests and the cleanliness is very high. Much more so than the nearby Howard Johnson. The buffet breakfast was delicious and the serving staff are very attentive. We felt truly able to rest this visit

Lunch Buffet is amazing! I am not a super formal person but I do appreciate the dress code and formality that is expected and offered in Social Kitchen, Holiday Inn.

I stay there for a week with my foreign colic, they where not providing continental food, and the charges was very high on the buffet in night later i take him to dominos, there was only indian foods, for foreigner they should eat only fruits. Very worst experience.and they will ask money earlier before booking the room. The front desk person was not cooperative.
The air conditioner wasn't working and despite repeated protests and requests, we were neither given a different room or reimbursed for our stay and inconvenience which they blamed on full occupancy. At least the hotel could have informed us that they would not be able to solve our issue and we would have moved into a different hotel immediately. Rather would have asked us to vacate than make us stay in the heat.
Also, when I did call the hotel after our checkout and requested to lodge a complaint, I was told that I will receive an email about the same which also has not happened. This is not very professional or a behavior you would expect from a 5-star hotel and chain. Needless to say, I will be consciously avoiding the hotel and brand from now on for either personal or business purposes.
This is situated right beside the brand factory at Chinar park. There is a narrow service lane which leads to the hotel. It is a hotel which also contains the restaurant urban kitchen and social kitchen.
The decoration is good and soothing. The food was average barring a few vegetarian items. Non veg items were quite average in taste. The service was cordial but ineffective.
Would not recommend unless you are getting reimbursed your bill from your work.
It's near to NETAJI SUBHASH CHANDRA BOSE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT KOLKATA (DUM DUM). It's right beside brand factory in Chinnar Park. A service road connects the hotel. But here is not at all up to the mark. Overall jst good place to stay if only ur money is reimbursed.

Status not upto regular Holiday inn. Really slow in service and property not that great. It is supposed to be a 5 star property but standards are below 3 star. Swimming pool is mostly closed and the gym is really small without much equipment. Except for suites all rooms are without view. The only advantage is the distance from the airport.
One of the best place to stay in transit from kolkata airport.nearby shopping centre, good food in a wonderful ambience added to courteous service was a joy indeed

House keeping and allotted room was very good. All hotel staffs are well behaved. Location, transport, food facilities was great.so i would recommend to go and visit.
Amazing experience. Entire staff is highly dedicated and felt top class hospitality. Breakfast and food is just delicious and awesome. Mr. Tanmoy Mukherjee banquet manager is very nice fellow supported by Mr Biswajit, they have taken utmost care in the restaurant while taking breakfast. Kitchen Chefs and entire staff has served in excellent manner. I would love to stay in this hotel time and again. Highly recommended
[Restaurant Review] Average to worthless food. Mostly catering to vegetarian crowds. Ambience is very nice and hence will be charged at such rate. But for non-vegetarian people, this place is not at all recommend. 10 types of vegetable salads and 7 types of vegetable item, but only 3 non-vegetarian item. Live counter will serve your order when you are done and leaving the place.
Rooms - great ambience. Well thought out spaces and amenities within the room. Clear instructions available for change of linens, towels etc. No need to call and get these changed. Automated process. A lot of inclusions. And if you are a member, additional hospitality Breakfast - similar to other hotels of this quality. Food is great. Simple, yet fulfilling food items available Menu cost is a little on the higher side, so ensure you get a good deal when you come over Functional gym with basic equipments. Enough to burn all the extra calories you put on here (the city that is) Staff are extremely helpful. Enjoyed the experience.
Food quality needs 2 improve.checking in and check out should be faster.late check out for senior citizens and late flight should be accommodated. Ms Shilpi at the restaurant was so sweet helpful and lovely. May she do well be blessed. She complimented me for wearing flowers. Fruit basket and flowers for guests should be given.loved staying here. Food options are pathetic. Should change for veg as well as 4 nonveg. Breakfast menu should also be different. Fish was not up to the mark. Improve on your customer service. Front office needs to be bigger and better staffed
I belong to service industry too and could just feel that apart from the excellent services, pretty & charming faces full of smiles, enthusiasm and positivity here, the staff also volunteerly goes out of their ways in an order to make sure that they truely spread smiles ️️
Buffet lunch is really awesome. Hotel atmosphere is also very good. Only one problem that I have noticed is very low network coverage in the basement banquet hall.
