Thank you for making my visit to so enjoyable and stress-free. I look forward to returning to your hotel in the future and will highly recommend it to friends and family.
There is no comparision with hotel akash. Its the oldest and well stablished hotel. Bus stop and petrol pump is neariest. As well a market. Mid at the town.
We spent a night in a deluxe AC room at Hotel Akash in Purulia. The hotel is conveniently located at the heart of the town and has an impressive exterior. It also has its own restaurant, which serves delicious food at reasonable prices. The room service was excellent, but the room and washroom were only average and lacked a certain 'wow' factor. Although spacious, the room had a slight odor that was quickly resolved by the service staff with a room freshener. Overall, Hotel Akash is a decent accommodation choice for visitors to Purulia.
Had an official visit to purulia. Excellent stay. Food is just awesome. Very tasty and value for money. Location is very close to railway station and bus stand.
It's a very elegant place for short temporary stay. It is close to railway station, people here are very helpful ambiance of the hotel and rooms are very comfortable and spacious.
Akash is a good hotel in purulia bazar. It has so many rated rooms but not like as three stars hotel. Rooms are spacious stuff behaviour is well except hotel manager.
Alwaz packed hotel.overall good experience specially would mention bhaggo da for his excellent room service from so many years. Absolutely a gem of a person
Best hotel and also oldest hotel and restaurant in Purulia. Foods are very delicious here within fair price. Staff behaviour is so good.there is liquid shop attached with this hotel.overall a great experience,
Akash hotel is quite an old hotel in purulia and is considered to one f the best hotels here.i saty here quite often.the lobby of the hotel is beautiful with cozy sofas.yes you can smoke in the lobbh.it has a big restaurant where people from outside come to dine as well.the hotel has a bar too which is located in the basement.the rooms are reasonably priced and the food is really nice.the waiters are well behaved and the hotel has taken care of cleanliness and hygine too.if you want to stay for a day or 2 in purulia and then head towards ayodhya hilltop this is the best place.the hotel has a lift facility too which is of great use for elder boarders.bud stand is walking distance from this hotel.you will get buses for ayodhya hill top from here.and for people going to purulia railway station they can board an e-rickshaw which will charge 10 rupees.
The Exterior of the hotel is too good to cheat travellers but the rooms provided for staying were too bad, the AC was not working, the smell coming just after opening the washroom door was enough to make u vomit several times. I hated my stay here.
Went there with family. Food was not at all tasty. Also the tandooris were burnt.and when we asked them to change them, they said that no more tandooris were available.the same happened for kulchas also.though the furnishing was good, the service was not at all nice. 5 stars for furnishing. (Also the loos were not at alll clean)
Best hotel in Purulia but the bar is not so good. ACs were not working properly and exhaust system is not very good. Though the place is big and interior is not so bad but a bit costly.
Very poor customer service. Took around an hour to have our dinner served. We placed the order around 9, got food around 10! We were so hungry by then and kind of lost the appetite. AC wasnt working and they hadnt switched on the fans, which made it quite warm inside. About food, Fried rice had a burnt taste to it. The only thing I liked was the fresh lime juice. If you really want to go there, please make sure you reach atleast one hour before your usual meal time, else they are just going to test your patience and hunger!
Good hotel with staying facilities at Purulia. Around 1.5 km from Purulia Railway station, close to the town bus stand, just opposite to a petrol pump. They can arrange for local tours including the tour to Ajodhya hills and may be up to Ranchi, Jamshedpur too. One thing that I disliked, they don't keep the tel nos of local important visits such as Purulia Ramakrishna Mission Vidyapith, they also don't keep the timetable for important railway and bus routes. Behaviours of the hotel staffs are good.
