Hotel Amrapali

A nice Stay near Mukutmanipur Dam.
AC Rooms are big with basic features at Bathroom
Food is average
Location is perfect-5mins walk to Mukutmanipur Dam
Parking available for around 4-5 cars.

Did not stay here, only had lunch. The hotel has both ac and non AC rooms. This is a kind of budget hotel at Mukutmanipur in Bankura. Located just opposite to the Kangsabati dam. The property is surrounded by lot of greenery.

Good hotels and location but foods rate are very high. Rs. 270 for two pc chiken rice meal, veg 130/- etc.

Stayed at Amrapali on 04th & 05th Feb'23.
Well I don't have a good review about the hotel. Since I didn't had a choice, I had to stay there. They overcharged me @2000/- per night though it would be valued at Rs 300-400 per night as per the pathetic condition of rooms.

Pros:
Location wise excellent, located just over the reservoir.only a minute walk to the Dam.
Staff cordial & helpful.

Cons:
Rooms are pathetic. AC not working. Rooms urgently need to be painted. Washroom also pathetic. No hot water supply. No electric kettle in room & lack of other basic amenities such as toiletries, towels etc.

Impression: Avoid this hotel if they charge more than 500 bucks/night stay.

The position of this place is great. Just a 8-10mins walk from Kangsabati Dam. The rooms are spacious but there are some points which I did not like. I would like to suggest some changes:
First, the switch of light for the washroom should be near the washroom and not beside the entrance.
Second, there should be a mirror above the wash basin.
Apart from these, my stay was good, maybe. (I found a large spider at the corner of the room on the last day).
The food was good in quality and taste, should try their puri sabji. But all items were not available.
The staffs were really helpful and friendly.
Overall my experience was average, not fully worth the money.

The HOTEL AMRAPALI is a more-or-less middle standard hotel in Bisnupur. The location is good. Room quality is standard but not specious. Service is moderate.

Worst rooms and worst staff. They didn't even switch on the fan of the balcony. Every time they are saying its not working in every case. Also taking very high charge for food. Taking money by force at the time of check out saying towels are not clean which they provide. Also givings ppressure for tips. Worst experience.

We visited at the end of October. We didn't stay so will not be able to comment. We had our lunch over here. We have tried the thalis.though overall expensive but it is unlimited and taste is very good. Staffs are really nice and cordial. They have served well and made us feel at home. One who likes regular Bengali foods can definitely try the thalis.

A fantastic budget hotel to stay in Mukutmonipur. Stuffs behaviours are very much polite. I can bet u would love the environment. Oh! I must mention their food. It's awesome.
