Nabin ji waa very polite and friendly. Good service. If prices were reduced by 10-15% then it would be great.

We initially went for breakfast and enjoyed the Utappam and Dosa so much, we went back for dinner the same evening.

The food was tasty and fresh. The restaurant was clean and comfortable with a great view. We were shown excellent & friendly hospitality by Naveen.

A very nice fine dining veg restaurant in the busy place. Ordered veg biryani and it was very good quantity as well as quality. Nice service too.

Totally loved it. We had lunch and dinner at lunar and both the time food was amazing. Staffs are so generous and kind towards costumers. I personally didn't felt like I was sitting there for first time.

Simply Amazing…!
Me and my family was struggling for good South Indian or North Indian food since two days and on third day at Mall Road we saw Lunnar veg restaurant. The food is really tasty and quality is beyond expectation, the service is very warm and humble.
Rate is also reasonable. Over all I will give 5/5 stars.

Went there for lunch. I like spicy food hence I wanted black pepper in my tomato soup to make it spicy. Waiter started explaining that tomato soup should be sweet. He didn't want to listen at all Arey, i was to add pepper in my soup, what is your problem? For such small request, he started argument. I called for another waiter and the earlier one started passing comments. Finally I left the restaurant without lunch.
Worst part, reception was listening and did nothing. Even when I said that staff is misbehaving.
Seems high inflow of customer has made them arrogant.

Ordered special fried rice, Gobi Manchurian, cheese dosa and idli everything is tasty and good.ambiance is good and fast serving. Friendly staff

This hotel is very unwelcoming of the tourist. They won't let tourists use basic amenities like WASHROOM. Mr. Manoj was rude and shunned me out the restaurant.

One of the best hotel. They saved my father's life. We went to their hotel and my father had a heart stroke over there. They took my father to nearest hospital, they paid all the hospital charge, ambulance charge, they did not even took the hotel tariff from us. They packed food and water for us. Really, at this time, where everyone is so money minded, they did unconditionally for us. To all the hotel members, A Big THANK YOU from me and my family. You all saved my father's life.

Fantastic ambience, perfect location for vegetarians. Specially the behaviour of staffs was amazing with wide smile fixed on their faces.quick service. Tasty food. The price is a bit higher for few items but can pay the amount only for their behaviour. Went for dinner but next day again visited for lunch only for their behaviour, neat and clean ambience.

Lunnar lunnar.wonderful hospitality and amazing derives, with neat and tidy atmosphere. Staffs are well disciplined and friendly. I don remeber their names Ashish Tamang and Sonia Tamang.

This place serves the best vegetarian food. This is located near mall road. The service is very quick and staffs are very friendly. The timing is from 8am to 10pm. One must try the food here

Visited this restaurant during our visit to Darjeeling. We have ordered the Masala dosa and Tomato Uttapam. Both were so good in taste and delicious. Food Quality was upto the mark. Located near the Ramada hotel and easy to reach by walk as near to main market area. Ambience was classy and good. Staff members were supportive and eager to serve us. It was lovely dinner we had in Darjeeling. Thanks for your service. I will like to recommend all the people who prefer to visit only pure veg restaurant and try their food. It was pure and rich in taste. Do try, it's worth to dine in here.

Food taste is very good - we tried North Indian dishes with chapati, Continental soup, starters, Dahi wada and Dosa. Everything was great.

This is right at the Mall road entrance- location is very convenient.

We had a wonderful stay at hotel lunar. To be honest best experience. Clear rooms and cosy. Bathrooms are small but very clean and well maintained. Good view from rooms. Just above the kunga restaurant. Very polite staff and very timely services.

A hotel with good view and good serviceability. Food in the restaurant is a bit on the expensive side though.

We had a great stay at Lunar hotel, view of the Kanchenjunga from the rooms is great, location is very good just over Kunga restaurant! Manager Mr. Ashish along with other staff are courteous. Would definitely stay there again in the next visit.

We stayed there for 2 nights and had enjoyed it very much. Very prominently positioned and also offer great view of Kanchenjunga.

We four went to Lunar for dinner yesterday. The place was clean. Staff was very welcoming. The food is 100 pct vegetarian. And DELICIOUS. Try the soups. Sweet corn and hot and sour were our favs. Dosas were good. Try masala n onion dosa. We had a great dinner.

Not so good experience to be honest. Services are very bad. And the staff or the waiter, dont know who exactly he was, had very bad manners. So shocked to see them treat the localities like this. How would they treat the tourists. Management team please work on your servicing and also teach your staffs some conversation etiquettes.

We got late from Gangtok and was there at 9: 30 PM and was exactly closing. They accepted our request which was great and the food was great.

We loved it for the fact that it was Pure Vegetarian and the food was great too. The service was good and to the point.
The server Diksha served us with a smile.

Don't judge the book my it's cover. Hotel lunar might not look so good from outside but the wooden flooring took my heart. I stayed in a room with a balcony which cost me only 200 INR extra. It was worth it. Very easy to find just near keventers. The service was excellent and people of hotel was helpful. I had a excellent time in the hotel. Hope you have one too.

Really loved Hotel Lunar. So clean rooms and regular room service which is my most concerned matter while chosing room. We took 3 rooms and all are too good, but the view from Room no. 101 was mindblowing, though other rooms have also good view of the peaks. Very near to Kaventers.l specially thanks to Mr. Gautam for taking care of our old mother who wasn't well that time. Missed those days of Darjeeling stay.

Hotel Lunar is a perfect destination for pure vegetarians. I was quite surprised to find it in a place like Darjeeling where non-veg is a staple food item. We had ordered veg chowmein and chilly vegetables. And it was great. I usually don't like the noodles made in restaurants and hotels. But this one was very similar to the one I make at home. In fact tastier! The sauces and spices were just the way I like. I was surprised to see my three year old daughter who usually finds everything out too chilly, also relishing it!
I'm not a fan of Chinese food particularly manchurian and the likes. Yet again, the chilly vegetables here amazed me! I kept eating it even with a full stomach: P
The overall ambience is nice and peaceful and the staff curteous. And most importantly they have clean and neat washrooms.
I think it's a very good place for vegetarian tourists who find it difficult to find good food especially in the non-vegetarian dominant areas.

Known as the best vegetarian hotel in Darjeeling with many awards from trip advisor.but i had a bitter experience there. I ordered hot and sour veg soup and after having it half way, i noticed something strange in between vegetables.when i had a closer look it was a "ant fly". When i reported to the waiter there.he took the bowl away and later mentioned that it was a piece of "Ginger". They also refused to bring back the bowl to prove it was ginger.as i dint have any photos they were on safer side.
After all this.they were not even sorry about it, did not ask for a refund or didn't even bring another fresh soup.

An amazing veg restaurant with great taste. Never thought Darjeeling would have such a good veg resto. Dosa, idly, chutney, sambar, soup everything is superb. Cost is on the higher side but worth provided the state and it's cuisine.

Serves good quality food. Best place to get south Indian vegetarian dishes especially Masala dosa, Iddly vada etc are delicious. May take little time to serve but ideal place to chit chat for a while.

Their Restaurant is just Perfect place for Family.food is awesome with best service.prices a bit on higher side but it is worth spending for the view and food.located on the main nehru road in Darjelling. I haven’t used the hotel so cannot comment on that but it seems to be good.they have fixed timing for lunch and dinner, so make your plan accordingly. All in all good place to eat and hangout.

Service is not good but was quick. Both kadhai paneer and roti were not up to mark. Dal was ok. Overall not worth the high rating. Not many good options nearby.

Perfect place to eat vegetarian food in Darjeeling. It is located on first floor of hotel lunar. Amazing food and ambiance. There could be waiting during peak season but once inside they dont rush you through food. They take order and serve food lovingly. The vegetable pulao was yummy. Naan was also super soft.

I had butter veg seekh kabab, best sabzi I have ever eaten. One should try this sabzi, a family restaurant and best for tourists. Rates are bit high based on the quantity of food, but is totally worth it. Nice view of mountains from the restaurant. The restaurant was also clean and tidy.

4 Years back I visited Darjeeling, Gangtok and Mirik Lake monastery. Hotel Lunar is really a good place to stay near Darjeeling main market and very delicious food for north Indians.

We found Hotel Lunar's food best quality vegeterian food in Darjeeling. We really relished their delicacies. Infact they even prepared items specially for us without onion on our request. We also found their staff very polite. Since we eat pure veg food, nowhere in Darjeeling we could find such high quality veg restaurant.

Clean, hygienic space with nice views. Food very tasty, especially palak paneer, and prepared quickly. Not too much oil or spices.

It's a beautiful restaurant. The service is excellent and the food is yummy and worth it's price. It's clean and has a nice environment.

Hotel Price definitely over priced and food too example a simple breakfast could charge you 10$+ They don'toffer a room heater too, its surprising you have to buy this 6$ each and they have limited heater also, some day you may not get room heater even if you are ready to pay too, I called 6 times for room cleaning in two days at number 6 call they listen rest time told me comming, few mins. Room are well furnishing & view is great that's the only things of beauty there apart from this rest are below average or average & front desk people are helpful. It'smixed experience
