Hotel Nest Shankarpur

We had food in the restaurant on our way back from Shankarpur and it was expensive and no taste.

Probably the only decent hotel in Shankarpur. But it’s not upto the mark. Room 134,135,236 have malfunctioned door locks! We were locked out in my room (135) for 1.5 hrs!

Food is average as well. The only positive thing is the pool which is comparatively better.

Beach is at 15 mins walking distance.

The hotel is well maintained and provides several services. The authority arranges cars for local sightseeing. Though, it is little bit expensive, but it worths the services provided by the hotel.

They also have a swimming pool now which is accessible till 5 pm, decent hotel with big size rooms, good service and a nice restaurant will make you lazy, there is a garden cum park where children can play. Restaurant is reasonably priced for veg items. Its a 10-12 walk away from beach, you get free to n fro ride from hotel. Its a safe place for kids too. This is a quiet place for family tour. Not like beach hotels in Mandarmani

Terrible place. The look and feel from outside is a facade for poor service and poorer attitude by hotel staff.
The rooms and halls leak profusely if it rains. The hotel charges for AC rooms but keeps them switched off from the mains.
Very unhelpful and discourteous staff.

No comments on services.and cleaning part. They are good in this.but some how their lift is not working. This is one of the problem. Otherwise. It’s good.

Rooms smell swampy. Maintenance is not up to the mark. Service is also not good.
Restaurant experience was horrible. Washrooms are stainy. They won't provide your requirements properly not even website mentioned things. Pool maintenance is down the level. We had booked 3 rooms. All were same. Highly.disappointed.

Room was spacious and clean. Service was good.but little slow.
Food was awsm. Over all a peaceful and comfortable environment. Swimming Pool was clean.

Rooms aren't up to the mark. Specifically considering the prices. You might have to end up cleaning the washroom yourself. Restaurant food is also quite average. We ordered pomfret fry and it was honestly NOT fresh. The only good part is their behaviour.

They mayn't clear swimming pool water regularly otherwise a well maintained property. Sea beach is around 1.5-2 km from hotel but they have free car service. Food quality was good, specially the fish items.

The General Manager Goutam Mondal is a cheater. After booking online they cheated to increase the room rent into double during checkout. Poison hotel. Do not plan to stay otherwise they robbed you. Horrible Experience

Rooms are good, but you need to upgrade a few things like the washroom and lights.
Service and staff are superb.
The location is a little far from the beach but they have their safari to ride you, so no worries

Worst hotel ever. Every device is outdated. TV and A/C are malfunctioning. The receptionists are very arrogant and irresponsible. Room service is not good. The maintenance of the building is bad yet they are taking huge sums of money. Hence, don't visit this hotel.

Rooms were large. But service poor.
Swimming pool costume was mandatory, didn't knew or mentioned.
Food was good, although expensive.

WORST HOTEL EVER. It's like a prison. Everything is malfunctioning starting with TV and A/C, room service is not as expected as a 3000 Rupee room, the receptionists are (not responsive) irresponsible and along with insufficient lighting in the room. So save your money by not booking in this hotel.

1) Nice hotel, Rooms are clean and big.
2) Clean Washroom, Balcony attached with all rooms.
3) Clean swimming pool, safe for also kids.
4) Hotel provides car, zip, and bus for going beach.
Cons:
1) washroom feetings are not good.
2) They not provide enough toiletorries, no slipper also.
3) Stuffs are not enough Co-operative.
4) AC is working but it is not placed proper place.

Worst hotel ever. This hotel ruined my first day of my trip malfunctioning A/C and TV. The receptionist were were irresponsible and arrogant. The rooms had insufficient lighting and dirty rooms. It’s standard was lower 1000Rs room but they charged 3000Rs for a dirty room along with a junk fridge. Even the fan is much more cooler than the A/C. The room service is very poor. Even when calling them they don’t provide us with proper room service and thus they provide when they are wish to. “DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY IN THIS HOTEL THERE ARE MUCH BETTER OPTIONS”

I visited this place along with friends and family recently.
One of the worst hotel in this area and all around services were poor.
Most horrible was food and hospitality.

Good - Sumita On Desk is very helpful and responsive. Park and Lawn are very nice and big. Easy n nice car service to beach. Staff behaviour is also very good.

Bad. Pool is good but remain closed on eve. I made a earnest request to MD who did not response though Desk has given permission to open for 1 hr. Thanx for that. Some fellows are dipped into pool with regular dresses which is not expected. Food is good. Restaurant is small. Room is big but not at par. Toilet is very avg. Every rooms have lizard. Overall this is the best hotel in Sankarpur. Security person is nice. Once again park n lawn is very nice. U can enjoy hard drinks with snacks n music. But U must bring hard drink by ur own. Thank u.

Safety at night is good. You can be in the park till late night. Good for kids.
The food is not good at all. Especially the dinner menu and preparation was horrible. Cleanliness is also an issue. Room service is also poor.

Slightly off from the sea beach but is taken care of free transport service. Garden view and music are good. Rooms are decent.

OMG such a place even exists! It is simply SUPERB! It was my 1st time here and I went only by the reviews I read online. Much to me and my family's delight NEST surpassed all our expectations:)

It is a beautiful property. The staff are helpful and courteous. Rooms are big and our balcony faced the swimming pool. They have a private beach too and provide complimentary pick up and drop.

There is a big play area for kids outdoors and indoor games like table tennis, carrom to keep them delighted.

Extra bed in room can be included at a reasonable additional cost.

Only negative - Our bathroom walls in room could do with some cleaning. It looks dirty.

It is only 20-25 minute drive away from New Digha town. So, people who want to avoid the crowds there just go for NEST!

Wonderful experience with hotel Nest, Shankarpur. Today we had our lunch in their restaurant. Though we didn’t stay at their place, but they were so earthly and kind that they gave us permission to use their washroom and the food was lovely. I must stay in Nest next time

Excellent rooms. Awesome service. Superb friendly staffs. Always on their toes to serve the guests. Amazing restaurant and food with wide range of varieties. All other entertainment sections present like sports room, swimming pool etc.

Only resort to stay at shankarpur.far from sea.rooms are not well maintained, gadgets are old fashioned, toilets are not so clean and stained.a private terrace attached with room was good, hotel campus, garden are well maintained.service little bit slow.food was just average.not cost worthy

We had stayed for 2 nights. The experience was memorable, the behaviour of the staff was very friendly, the rooms were well maintained. The only problem was that the food was a bit costly but tasted good.
The best part about the place is that it isn't crowded at all. It's a paradise for people who love silence.
A great experience, l would highly recommend this place. Would like to come back again.

Excellent place with all facilities like swimming pool, restaurant, delux room, garden, recreation hall, Terrence garden.

Avoid the restaurant. We had fish curry at lunch on 13th February 2021. Being located at Shankarpur you would expect the fishes served to be fresh, instead they sell off leftover over fish from 2-3 days old. They are rubbery and bad in taste. Service is also very slow. Otherwise location wise the hotel is good near sea beach.

It's a beautiful property with ample open greens and lots of entertainment facilities. Though sea is not very nearby but they have a exclusive portion of private beach with shaded sitting arrangement. They also provide free pickup and drop to that beach. Their restaurant and food quality is just awesome.

The hotel is very good but out of maintenance at all. Most of the toilets and washrooms are water-floded most of the taps are always leaking even the plumber associated could not able to stop water-leaking in fact of three rooms as visited.

The property is well maintained and a iconic destination for Shankarpur. The beach is not walkable however free car service is available to drop and pick up from beach. The restaurant has good variety and options. However the overall service of the property needs to improve a bit. The rooms at the back are bit shabby with a nit so good view. The rooms in the front have a nice view of the lawn.

Average place. Earlier it used to be a good spot for weekend chillout but now it has degraded. Rooms are not upto the mark. Many times theres a fault with amenities. Rooms not clean. Food it average.

Nice stay as the staffs are so familiar, best hotel for family with children but food costing is too much, 4 pcs puri with sabji they charged me ₹65/-. Butter nun is looks like paratha.u can charge me high but u should maintain quality also. Except fooding experience everything is awesome. Like it.

Grt place to stay in sankarpur.although its bit away from the seashore.bt nest has its own vehicles for free transportation to the sea.

Hotel Nest is situated at Shankarpur, Digha. The location of the hotel is little bit far (Just 1 k.m) from The Shankarpur Sea beach. But the service i.e pick up & Drop facilities provided by the Hotel which is a very good things. The room service is overall moderate. Great atmosphere, The room is very sophisticated, big double bed room, T. V, air conditioning, geiser, room is available. Price is little bit of high. Fooding service also available. But they charged little bit of extra. A great atmosphere, superb experience. Overall ok.

Hotel is no doubt wonderful with reasonable fare, staffs are very understanding and helpful. They have a private natural beach of their own. The only reason i gave it a 4 star and not 5 is because the distance from beach is. It's like 1 km. Otherwise it's super cool

Very good hotel on that area. Nearby sea beach also they have special facility in beach. Room is big, clean and cozy. Have restaurant and open garden also the facility of outdoor & indoor gaming facility. Big Conference room for arrange business seminar. Good place for family, Corporate tour & business meet also.

Why you loved the place? Why not to love this place First of all this place is in the mid of mandarmani and digha we went there for a pre wedding shoot. And the hotel entire staff's was so so friendly they are always ready to help you in anyways.

Excellent location. Away from crowds. But easy to reach the sea beach. Just 1 km. Nest provides drop and pick up any time. Conference hall is very big. Ideal for seminar.

Hotel Nest is the best hotel in Shankarpur. Rooms are spacious but all gagetes are old. It has a big and nice conference room. This hotel has a big lown with park. Children are enjoy the park. Hotel has mini bus and open jip to go sea beach. Sea beach is not crowdy. You can enjoy the sea very much but this not enjoyable for bath and bad smell of sea fish from fish market and troller disturb your mood. Overall you can enjoy your living with your family.

Outside looks are good. Accomodation facilities are not good as comod flush is not working, ac is sounding like saw mill.

This is nice place on the way to shankarpur from Digha. Rooms are well furnished and good. Very nice foods. Hotel Staffs are co-operative and well behaved. They have their own pick-up and drop-off vehicle. Also vehicle available for nearby site seeing. Good place to stay and enjoy your holidays in peace and tranquility.

Not bad. But if you want 1st class service this is not for you. If you want ok service cheap price then it is best for you. But keep it in mind there T&C. Overall very pretty good place to stay.

The infrastructure if the hotel is great. Behaviour of the staff, food stamps the restaurant (Sea mermaid) is delicious with a variety of sea food and other items. The housekeeping section was prompt and consistent. The only things that they require change is the renovation of a few rooms. The plumbing, electronic gadgets in the room like A. C.or television did not function properly. The sofa inside the room was not cleaned properly. The staff needs to be a little more professional. Otherwise the stay was warm and pleasant.

Hotel located at Peaceful location.room's are average, room service are not good you will feel bad smell of fish at outside of hotel. Big lawn area and confrence hall is huge. Only hotel you can stay in Shankarpur-Digha. Price is affordable. Food quality is amazing, believe me, every preparation is having authentic taste. Hotel staffs are polite and professional. There is a big children's park inside the premises.

Worst possible way experience. Pathetic food quality, non cooperative staff below par property. This hotel is just surviving because it’s the only one in Shankarpur. Never visiting this hotel again.
