Hotel Sea Hawk, Digha

Rooms are neat and clean. Restaurant is spacious, and ambiance is nice. Location is great. Almost on the Old Digha sea shore.

I would say it is not a hotel, it is kije govt hospital. Smells looks everything, most is overpriced

Prices are high comparative to room maintenance, specially washroom.
Food was good & great view of sea on old building first floor.

A good hotel to spend you time nothing much extraordinary other than the super large sea facing rooms with a balcony big enough to sit and have a tea and spend time with the cool breeze. The hotel rooms are all good with a well cleaned bathroom and a comfortable bed. The one thing that is needed is a wifi connection other than that, I would recommend this place

Absolutely astonishing views available here. It is one place in Digha where you can give complete lift to your experience.
Be it stay in Premium Sea View Rooms, Staff Behaviour or Food everything was of Top notch quality.

Recovering as of now (29.08.2021) from Cyclone Yash. Renovation is underway in the East wing of the Hotel. You could still see the extensive damage the Cyclone caused.

Still we are having a good stay here. Rooms are spacious and clean. Food is homely.

Spacious room, clean & maintained. Services are Good. Hotel Room service staffs are unnecessarily asking for TIPS. Management needs to be strict on it to stop unnecessary harrassment to customer.

Food was very well cooked. All dishes were very tasty. Room accommodation 7/10. We were disappointed with the continuous irritation which we faced from staff for tips. We have already tipped 400 and yet they continued to pressure on us. The trip was scarred due to it.

This is one of the sea facing beach view hotel but all rooms are not sea facing. Also they claim all front side rooms are sea facing but if you want to sunrise then you should take east corner room. They have only 1 or 2.
Others are sea facing but they demand huge charge for those rooms. The view you will get from those rooms can be taken from other hotel as well with more less price. But room sizes are good for larger families and even for kids.

A amazing and clean view of the sea is available from this hotel, also hotel is clean and the service process is very good.

Visited in the Covid era post destruction by Yaas cyclone. Considering the devastation the hotels have to overcome, it fails miserably as if not even trying. Premium AC Sea-Facing rooms with no toiletries, Balcony desperately shouting for a sweep, slow room service, and a pile of construction material in the middle of the garden is just not how I remembered it. The staffs looked demoralized somehow, but their expectations of being tipped has outgrown their efforts to make it enjoyable for us. I just hope Sea-hawk regains it's past glory. 3 stars for location.

Awesome hotel. Service, food both are great. Location is also great, when you can see the ocean from hotel balcony, what else do you need. We were in room 235,236, main building, rooms are great, AC, it also has its private balcony with sea clearly visible. Just one major drawback of this hotel is, everyone wants a tip, even security guard.

The waiters teaming up and asking for tips at the end of your stay - despite having given them a tip on every instance (room service as well as housekeeping) is a let down.

Once upon a time. Best sea side hotel in digha with privy beach. But now it's not good no maintenance. Stuffed ar not good.

Room quality is not up to the mark. Sea Gul (just opposite of Sea Hawk) is far more better. Food quality is pathetic. I will not suggest this hotel to anyone.

Amazing place to be! A hotel just by the Bay of Bengal in Old Digha. Unbelievably affordable price, great view and above average food by local standards.

A below average, untidy hotel with no lobby, no WiFi, no toiletries and having a shabby Reception at Old Digha but charging inappropriately high room rates. The hotel has a dirty entrance, a street-side parking, an unkempt garden with a broken swing and an awful service with pestering tip-seekers everywhere. Food is average. Although close to the beach, the Sea-facing rooms get no clear view of the sea due to a row of trees that obstruct the front view. No online booking allowed either. One can get scores of much better and clean hotels at both Old Digha and New Digha at half the price.

It is very unpleasant to see the absurd staff behaviour of Sea Hawk Hotel. I don’t know whether Sea Hawk Management paying reasonable remuneration to their staff or not. Each and every staff asking money from the borders for every kind of service whether it is provided or not. Above all the management doesn’t have any control over their staff. Sweeper to Security Guard, Cleaner to restaurant boy all are engaged in begging repeatedly even you denied.

A very well located and comfortable place. Food is extremely good. Has a central water heater system but individual water heaters would have been better. Perhaps the best hotel at Old Digha.

Staff behaviour is good. Location is also good as its the only hotel in digha having sea facing rooms. But rooms should be more cleaner and interior of the rooms should be better as per the price.

Negative experience due to poor maintenance of rooms (no exhaust in bathroom and tap waters not running adequately) and the rooms are seriously overpriced! We paid Rs 3396 for a room and at that rate we expected a 2 to 3 star hotel's room facilities like in room kettle with tea/coffee, an under counter fridge, toiletries and bed lamps but No. Nothing of that sort! We got a very average room with just towels and bedsheets. Only good feature of this hotel is the location as it overlooks the sea beach. Staff are cordial and polite.

Below average, i stayed in room no. 223. The room needs renovations, paints are coming out, the bathroom is shabby. Overall not happy with room condition in a high price charged. Go for other hotels in this price

I can't give any higher than 3 stars. Though this place has wonderful room, ambience and good food but this place doesn't offer WiFi, the food presentation is not that good and the bathroom's have spiders in them

When ever I go do Digha with Leo (my Labrador) we stay at Hotel Sea Hawk as they allow pets. The view from the rooms are good. The location of the hotel is amazing, the rooms the well maintained. They have two cottages that they provide to you if you stay with your pets as it has a private attached garden. The cottages are really pretty and the rooms are big each cottage has two rooms that are interconnected with one door and the attached garden has a swing. The food is average tasting. But I personally love hotel sea hawk for the view, the location and the fact that they allow pets because I always travel with Leo.
