My experience at Hotel Sea Sand in Digha was absolutely delightful! Although the beach was a little far, the hotel more than made up for it with its outstanding service and hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and memorable. The rooms were clean, spacious, and offered a serene ambiance. The hotel's amenities, including the well-maintained pool and beautiful surroundings, added to the overall charm of the place. The on-site restaurant served delectable dishes, satisfying my taste buds with every meal. Despite the beach being a short distance away, the exceptional experience at Hotel Sea Sand made up for it. The entry of the hotel from om main road little inside. But near hotel sea beach is the best one sea beach in old Digha.
I gonna celebrate for my anniversary with my full family. It's really excellent experience from every side like hotel staff behaviour, food quality of restaurant, rooftop Swimming pool during swimming pool they also served beverage items (chargeable).
The best sea beach in old Digha it is nearby this hotel.
Over all I am given 5 start Rating.

The property is at a prime location. It has a nice pool. That’s the only positive.

Rest, everything is beyond negative.
The maintenance is poor, the food is pathetic. The hotel is very short staffed.
The restaurant stinks.
The rooms are shabby, washrooms are shabbier. We booked only after seeing some good reviews on Google. (Now I’m not sure if they were bought, or if this property was good a few years back). We had booked the most expensive room (pool + sea view - they’ve only 8 such rooms) but were welcomed by cockroaches all over the room and washroom.
The washroom drainage does not work properly.

Location and size of room were the only decent thing about this hotel.
Dirty corridors. Dirty bathrooms and. Filthy shower cubicle. Tea maker lid was broken and fell while pouring out boiling water. Fan regulator not working. So it’s on full speed or totally goes off. No mini fridge in the room. Breakfast was bad with hardly any choices. Very bad experience.
We ordered dinner which came after 1 hour. 910 rs for 2 people!
Better to book in beautiful new hotels in new digha opposite deue sagar and pay 500 rs more.

Room were not good at all looks like old room even in name of private party i saw dancing girls it's not good for family even they not resolved any problem do some other hotal in same price but not this it's not safe for family and girl

It's my first visit this hotel. Hotel room r ok. But need to improve their food quality. We celebrate my husband's b'day. They arranged cake for us. The stuff are very sweet with their smile. Mitra, Krishnendu and Amar are lovely. We must visit again

Most worst hotel to spend a quality time, the employees of the hotel itself agrees that the condition of hotel is worst, but superiors don't take it seriously and avoid to take care. Good for alcoholic people only. I had booked it via supti tourism, and thoroughly disappointed, only two positive sides are: food is very well cooked, and behaviour of the staffs is also good. Only these two points can carry an 1 star, that's it.

I don't recommend this hotel to anyone. I booked it online and reached this hotel at 7pm. I changed the hotel at next day morning.

A good budget friendly hotel in Digha. Staffs behaviour was good and service was appreciable. Lunch items were very delicious. Free wifi and complimentary breakfast options were also available. You can also access the pool area and it is well maintained. Only negative point is the room. The bed, blankets were dirty. Overall it's a good hotel for vacation with friends.

This is very bad hotel. Manager is also bad. Hotel ki receptionist miss srishti and manager is always misbehaving. Manager is very cheap man. And fooding is also bad. Ye log room acha dikhate hai and date he kuch aur. Very bad hotel.

For room IF THERE IS OPTION TO GIVE IN NEGETIVE WAY, I WILL GIVE THAT. Water was leaking from the Room's AC. We complaint about that in the morning, but they didn't even bother to solve the issue ASAP. In evening they just solved the issue by pulling out slightly the bed from under the AC area.
Room service is very poor, if you order TEA on the morning they either room service that to you after 1 hour or they will forget that.
Location is GOOD.
THE ONLY POSITIVE POINT IN THIS HOTEL IS THE SWIMMING POOL, which is just started (13th August, 2022). Only for that I gave extra in location.

I am coming to this hotel for 3rd time since 2019. When I came to Digha for first time I. 2019 the hotel rooms were really nice and cosy. Room infrastructure, toilet fixtures, lights inside the rooms were really more than expected in a budget hotel. At that time the hotel was under OYO. They have even provided body lotion and shower gel in washrooms. We liked the hotel so much so we visited again in 2020 December and as expected the hotel was deregistered from Oyo and rooms were not upto our expectations. But then because of the staff behaviour and services in the room and also the food was good so we decided to stay for 2 days. However, now I'm visiting the hotel for 3rd time and the hotel standard has gone down. Because it's a budget hotel rooms are fully occupied and even the rooms are not maintained properly. In the first room we have been offered the door lock for washroom was broken. Most of the wall and ceilings have cracks, there are spider nets in ceilings if we notice and the plaster of Paris inside rooms are also coming out in most places. However they have started package tours with some agencies and because of the location having a 2mins small lane walk to bathing sea beach of old digha the hotel is highly rated. However I'm somewhat dissatisfied with this hotel this time and I'll probably go for a bit high budget hotel called hotel sea and sand or sea gull or sea coast instead of this hotel next time. However the staff behaviour is very good and staffs have provided us hotel room services in excellent manner. As a budget hotel this hotel is good for a 2 nights trip.

A good budget hotel, good service staff and serve delicious meals, beach is 3 minutes away, it is located behind Hotel Sea Hawk in old Digha

Quit Far from Old Digha Beach. I visited the hotel from New Digha and my toto riksha cost was 150₹ par ride. So keep that in your mind. Hotel was under construction but staffs are good and helpfull.

It is strictly prohibited to have alcohol in front of pool area but some people without giving notice to the restriction hiddenly consumed alcohol in front of outside entrance towards sea side which somewhat not safe for women and children. This matter should be strictly take up by the hotel management.

Okay.my all time favorite hotel in digha.when ever i visit digha i always prefer to stay in this hotel.cz of the hospitality.staff's behaviour is awsm?

One of the worst hotels one can ever encounter in Digha. In case someone is planning to book here, please re-consider your decision. Below are the pros if any and cons of this hotel: -

Cons: -
-Approach road is really narrow. In case you have a personal car this might be a bit of a challenge.
-Rooms are of real bad quality with cobwebs and lacking any cleanliness whatsoever.
-Washroom and bathroom is pathetic. There is hardly any force in water from taps, shower and jetspray. You will not be able to take a decent bath here and will be utterly disappointed.
-The power connection in the television keeps disconnecting and ruins your experience in tv viewing.
-There is an intercom which doesnt work and you need to call some personal number for any room service or other requirement.
-They dont provide you extra hangar in the cupboard despite repeated requests. Only 1 hangar is there which is hardly enough.
-There are frequent powercuts in the night and there is huge amount of delay in getting the generator switched on leading to ruining of your much needed sleep.
-The price they charge 2400 plus tax for a double ac room is too high for the quality of services they provide. Not worth it by any chance.

Pros: -
-AC is of good potency and cools down the room really well.
-They have a small parking place for keeping your personal car.
Lift facility is there so that you dont need to climb stairs.

Overall: -
Dont get fooled by the pictures posted. Rooms are nowhere close to what is posted and the on the ground situation is really bad. Please think twice before opting for this hotel as you are bound to be disappointed. I would have provided zero stars if possible.

This hotel is a Lootera and bakwas hotel. Service is very poor. Sweetener is added in all food making it very sweet. In the night don't panic if a music system plays in the room beside you along with dance and wall banging, as the hotel administration allows such things. I don't understand that how 8 to 10 girls and boys are allowed in a room for such parties. Not recommended for family stays as the hotel administration will do nothing and you will have to either keep silent or fight with the boarders of the room beside you. There is only sea and pool view but no balcony and thus nobody can hear the sea and feel the wind. Inspite of poor experience if you get late by 10 min at the time of checkout the reception staff will charge you and extension fee by any means and will force you to pay. Very dirty pool as the hotel will allow everyone to get into the pool anyhow dressed, without having a proper pool dress arranged for them. Lobby is dirty with waste foods of boarders which are not cleaned. Many great hotels are available at the same price and at the same area. I booked this hotel accidentally and suffered. So I strongly recommend whoever is seeing this review, don't book this hotel.

The hotel is great at the price it operates, is a bit inside and you have to walk for 500-700 meters. Apart from that, the hotel is still in making and is quite clean and the staffs are very polite.

Good to stay, for everyone. Staffs are good. Food quality is also good. Near the beach walking distance. Locality is also good.

The rooms were well lit and maintained. It is a bit costly if you compare with quality of the amenities available or the food. Some of their food items was good whereas some were very badly made. Little basic amenities like Wifi was not there. Pool was well maintained and it was the best thing about the hotel. Service was good and so were the staffs. Very helpful and eager to serve you. All in all we had best experience.

P. S - When you are in pool ask the person to start the rain shower.

According to budget it was awesome stay. I loved the location though it is little far from main but you can reach to the beach in 3 minutes walk.as I don't like that much rush so the location of the hotel was perfect for me. Room was well cleaned. Bathroom was okay type.staffs were well behaved. Specialy the boy named Govinda was very Spontaneous to serve. Food quality and quantity was good according to the price.overall we enjoyed the stay.would love to stay there again.

Sea and Sand is a amazing place to stay in. If you are looking for a peaceful place to spend quality times with your homies, this can be the most suited space for you. Pleasant ambience, good staffs, delicious food. The backyard connects to the beach which is clean and less crowded along with a pool and roof top lawn. Food is good and pocket friendly. However, one might face network issue in the room with no wifi availability in the rooms. Keeping this factor aside it is really good place to stay in. Looking forward to visit soon

I am extremely satisfied with services what they have provided. The food quality was extremely good. The room was cosy and clean. They maintain all covid protocol and before entering the room, they sanitized room in front of you. The food price is quite reasonable. A really big thumbs up for the services and to the stuff.

****Alert****Do not stay. Hotel Sea Sand is inaccessible. The hotel is located at the end of a dinghy lane. The property is not maintained properly. I booked through Agoda. The pictures seemed nice. The moment I reached the location. Was absolutely horrified by the seedy location. Not recommended.

I don't recommend anyone to visit. Worst sevice no any cleaning activity.lobby are very dirty.staff are not professional.

Overall the hotel was okay in terms of the location and amenities but we were given an under construction room. Walls were not painted, bad smell every where including the washroom. There was no intercom in the room. Even the elevator was not working for most of the time.

Approx 1.6 km from biswa bangla market. If you love the odour of real old digha, stay here. Else, don't come.

Really great place, just beside the beach, you can enjoy night view of the sea with your family. I visited 3times there.
But I am not sure about cooking or kitchen facilities available there.

A comfortable yet cozy hotel situated very near to the Old Digha sea beach. I would rate it very highly especially for its cuisine and good behavior by staff.

The service was more then 5 star especially Govindo was really helpful. He is young, energetic and ready to help for everything. Extremely happy.

খুব বাজে অভিজ্ঞতা। আমরা দুজন গিয়েছিলাম এই হোটেলে এবং deluxe রুম বুক করি যার Rent রোজ Rs2800 (Excluding GST). প্রথম দিন রাতে চেক ইন করি হোটেলে।

খাওয়ার আগে থেকে বলে রাখি রাখার জন্য কিন্তু তা তিনি রাখেন নি যাওয়ার পর কেউ বানিয়ে দিতেও রাজি হোন না,
আমাকে নিজেকে গিয়ে ঘুরে ঘুরে খাওয়ার আনতে হয়।

***হোটেল ম্যানেজার পুরো মদ খেয়ে মাতালের মতোন আচরণ করতে থাকেন।
যে রুম দিয়েছেন সেখানে আরশোলাতে ভর্তি! খাওয়ার একদম বাজে এবং overpriced ।

Room Service একদম বেকার অর্ডার আইটেম মিসিং থাকবে। complementary water ঠিক মতোন দেবেন না। ফোন করে করে বলতে হবে।

The food quality and service is very amazing. Very friendly staff and most amazing chef. But the location isn't good. I wanted to shift to another hotel but the service was good so I didn't.

The location of the hotel is too inside the road. The service of the hotel is not good.to interact with room service you need to come down to the reception.there is a severe problem with its power supply. The air conditioner in the room are not functioning properly, the window glass in the bathroom is broken the taps need to be changed as there are leakage problem. Drinking water not available. There are no service staff in the hotel. Lack of maintenance.
The hotel claims to have wifi which is not working.
Overall the hotel is not ideal to be visited unless too necessary.

I don't know why people are posting such good reviews, but my experience was utterly horrible. Room service was poor and untimely. You have to call them several times. Rooms which were given was not cleaned properly. There were ants and cockroaches running everywhere, even in the bed. The ac was not working properly, there were no toiletries provided. Even the location is too interior from main Digha market area. Only the food was good and nothing else.

Hotel is located in a bit interior side, but close to Old Digha sea beach. Rooms are standard and affordable, however a bit on the smaller size. Staff is very friendly and food is homely. Good place to stay for budget friendly trips for 2-3 days.
