Hotel Silver Star

Very good place to stay, very clean rooms and bathrooms are very good, all well maintained, Ankur in reception is very helpful. Food is also served hot and tasty.

It was OK and not upto the mark they can't even give regular water after asking repeated times. They only give 2 500ml bottles for triple Occupancy rooms. TCM was not replenished as and when required.

The worst decision we ever made in our entire 27 years of living is choosing this hotel and paying a decent amount for a decent premium room.
Had the worst experience ever.we checked in at 1 and guess what they allotted us a room which has no water, upon asking they asked us to wait.we waited until 6 pm to use the washroom since they were nt even cooperative to help us move to another room. They asked us to rather adjust and move to their standard rooms. The manager was not even ready to allot us some room where we can use the washroom. They asked us to use their staffs washroom until they fix ours.can you imagine? We booked them through goibibo, we raised our concern with the team yet the manager didn’t bother resolving it.didn even ans the goibibo team

We originally booked a room at Sumi Yashshree Suites, but due to some maintenance they shifted our stay in this hotel which was also owned by Sumi Yashshree. They also upgraded the room without any extra charge.
The hotel is situated little far from Darjeeling Mall. It takes around 15 minutes by walk.
The rooms were really spacious, clean, luxurious and well maintained. The mountain view from the window was astonishing. We were lucky that we could see the ranges of Mt. Khangchendzonga from room.
The staffs were very professional. The quality and taste of food at restaurant was superb.
Overall, we had a wonderful experience in the hotel.

Nice hotel. 1.3 km away from Darjeeling mall, just opposite DRC parking, beside Darjeeling railway station.no lift available.kanchanjunga visible from the window of a view room, the hotel has also non view room.only veg food available.u don't have to walk from the main road to the hotel because it is situated just beside the main road.

Our 2 day trip to Darjeeling and stay at the hotel was initially not very smooth, but due to kind, courteous, friendly and professional handling of Mr. Mahendra Singh and Ms. Sabina our stay became thoroughly enjoyable. We express our heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Mahendra Singh and Ms. Sabina for making our stay so enjoyable.

It's an amazing Hotel at decent price and very decent location and amazing behaviour. Only the hotel have vegetarian food which are really very costly except food everything is just damn good. It's located just few miles before the toy train station and at very Proper location.

Best value for money hotel in Darjeeling city. I found their service is very good and served foods are good as well. Recommended.

Great hotel at a good location. Good restaurant and very helpful staff. All the receptionists and staff are very friendly and well behaved as well as professional. Rooms were clean and rates were good as well. It's a two minute walk from Darjeeling station. View from hotel is also good.

I had a room smelling and sounding all the time of pigeons right above the false ceiling. There was trouble with electricity and we didn't get hot water or room heater working. They provided hot water in buckets. Overall a good hotel, with some unfortunate issues we had to face.

Very nice hotel group in Darjeeling in affordable price. You can get in touch with their phone number with Sneha in reservation desk directly to get the best deals. They have their own travel desk as well. However the experience with travel desk was not good as they have provided the sightseeing for all the places promised and excused that the driver is new and don't know all the places.

Beautiful hotel. Little bit small room but facilities are 1st class. Polite staff behaviour. Amazing breakfast. Dinner need to test better else everything is best. Walkable distance from market.

Very good hotel to stay at Darjeeling. However Silver Star is not very close to Mall. But I will give 5star for room service, cleanness, mountain view, food, travel desk and the most important thing all the staffs are very helpful.

The hotel is good, rooms are spacious and cosy with all modern amenities. The toilet is too small but neat and clean and it is provided with all facilities. The geyser works well and there is no water issue. They have given me a room heater, so I didn't feel the chill. Breakfast is complementary and it is very, very good. The reception staff and the management is very much cordial and and helpful. I highly recommend the hotel.

The hotel is awesome but the location is almost 20 mins from mall and the roads are quite steep so for old person this will not be that good.

Our experience at silver Star boutique hotel was pleasurable beyond words. The service was better than most 5 star hotels. The rooms were clean, hygienic and exquisite. Food was delicious and they were courteous enough to replace a meal if we dint like it. They provided complementary milk for the kid and the price we paid was simply worth it. From my personal experience, I would say the hospitality of this hotel is worth experiencing.
