Excellent rooms. Foods were extremely good. Pleased with their hospitality. Definitely looking forward to stay with others HSBs too.

Very centrally located. Small but neat and clean rooms. All staff are very nice & always welcoming & helpful.

Hotel Sonar Bangla provides cozy, luxury and affordable stay with nice in house restaurant. This place having walking distance 5mins from Mall Road. Overall nice place to enjoy vacation with family and friends

This is one of the nicest place to stay. We were at room no 703. We could get nice view of Kanchanjangha from our bed. Just at the backside of Glenary. Could hear live songs of Glenary. The food of sonar bangla is very tasty and less spicy. The staffs are very very cordial. Toilets and rooms are very clean and modern. Room service is perfect. I would visit Sonar Bangla again.

The staffs are very friendly and the views are amazing but you don't get room service 24*7 I guess they should try to do that. Or else it's a best place to stay in Darjeeling,

You will be surprized to see the location, it's in neighborhood of glenarys keventers and also the mall. Even shares the same view as the glenarys.rooms are comfy adequately equipped.staff is excellent.will highly recommend a stay

Everything was good. Very professional. Good etiquette. Room, food and scenic beauty was mind blowing. Behavior was nice.

I stayed in this hotel for 1 night WORST HOTEL I have seen in my life.my entire trip to Sikkim went well except Darjeeling part because of hotel. This hotel was booked by MAKE MY TRIP both are hand in glove to lure people. The hotel not even qualifies for half star. No lift, when you enter into corridor cigarette smoke smell. Rooms were wet including towels cup board provided full of fungus. We got a room two flights below windows were dirty. They pull one bed from below for extra bed one can’t sit over it. Rooms are so small one can’t move around. They might say standard rooms will be like that. In other places also I stayed in standard rooms only. I saw reviews given by others don’t fall for those reviews. Went for breakfast next day morning, I donno any hotel as they boast of their class give such worst food. Miserable stay. Please don’t see the outside colourful lights photograph of Hotel that is the only I repeat only good part of hotel.

Its a nice hotel with very nice behaved staff. The hotel is situated just beside the Mall area of Darjeeling. The rooms are very clean with all the facilities including wifi. Overall the experience was nice at the hotel.

The hotel is no doubt very well.
The only problem is the rooms are at as high as 5,6 levels but doesn't have lift. The hospitality is very warm also the food and complimentary breakfast is tasty a d abundant.

Comfy rooms at an affordable price. Deluxe rooms have an awesome mountain view. Deluxe rooms are less spacious than other rooms.

Rooms are nice, but its more expensive. You would get same type of rooms, all facilities at a much lower price. Super deluxe rooms are charged almost double to deluxe rooms and the only reason for charging double is view of Kangchenjunga from hotel room. I mean common on, no one is to stay for the whole day in the room, else who will go to tiger hills.

Staff is quite brilliant other than the 2 persons at the reception who shows such behavior as if they are giving all services free of cost.

Well equipped, spacious rooms, good room service with decent view (if you chose view rooms), food quality and taste is good and very close to Mall.

It was full and we got the corner room on the top floor but. OMG there were stairs in the room there was a sofabed and a coffee table basically it was amazing but my kids were soo happy about the stairs they didn't even want to leave. It was very clean it was the best hotel I have ever been to until now. Very satisfied and I really recommend this hotel.

Good place to stay in darjeeling. Near to the mall and the central area. The room was good. However there are some rooms in the lower floors with out any view which are now very good to stay. The food served for breakfast is also very good. The staff behavior I must stay is very cordial and welcoming. Overall recommended place to stay.

We booked from make my trip.there the room was mountain view room.but the hotel personal provided us a very clumsy room bcz we checked in late and he has given this room to other family.so we have a bitter experience.

Good hotel, location is good. In a cold place in winter season, heater is heavily charged and not included in the hotel price. That's really very bad. Management is good otherwise.

Truly speaking.if someone is coming to Darjeeling and wants to stay near the Mall road then this is one of the best options. Fantastic rooms, clean and tidy. The room service is up to the mark. Food is very tasty and the complementary breakfast is way good with nice options. The staffs are extremely gentle and helpful. Amazing experience at the hotel!

The hotel is good, and is located near mall road or center of Darjeeling.

The room are good and clean and washroom are also clean.

The quality and taste of food is also good.

You can get the Kanchanjanga view from the room itself. This view will be there only of you book higher floor rooms.

Night view from the room is also great.

Good location. Not every room has mountain view and the rooms at the floor under the ground level have poor Network connectivity. Still you'll be impressed by the service and reasonability of room tariff. Has own restaurant with good food quality.

We went there last December and stayed 3 nights, they had problem with geyser almost everyday. And, they asked almost 50% of the room rent for the room heater!
