Fantastic location, Professional services but condition of the rooms are not up to the mark.

The place probably was great once but is no longer so. The rooms are dated and the bathrooms are downright ok for a place that goes for a fourth of this price.
Food was bad. Zero taste and the breakfast spread was a disappointment. Food was cold and bland.
Pool was ok.
Great access to the beach sells the place. I'll look for a different place next time.

Room good but ac not of standard capacity chaving proper overage in comparison with size of room.so fan has to be run along with ac. It is generally seen in cheap sort of hotels.

This is definitely NOT a 5-star property. Was terribly misleading. The resort needs detail audit. NOT RECOMMENDED

One of the best resort in Mandarmoni. Its a 3 star property. We stayed there for three nights with our 5 year son. The experience was overall very good. Its just on the beach.most of the visitors are families with kids. There are few restrictions in the resorts premises which i think very good for family travellers like us.staff behaviour also very good/moderate/professional. There is a big pool to enjoy. Restaurant and food quality also good. Food price is bit higher side but it compensate with the quantity. One plate hakka noodles is enough for 2 adult. Room service also good.order will served with in 15 to 20 mins max.
The big green lawn with swings, seating area, children play area also worth mentioning. Parking is available in the resort premises 24 hours security available but there is a board syaing "Park at your own Risk" dont understand why?
Now the hotel is bit inside the last 4-5 kms road conditions is pathetic. Though repairing work is going on.and after the supper cyclone YAS many broken/damping/water logging area is still visible but renovation work is going on. Highly recommended.

Good location and big Property but service is not up to mark if we compare with the pricing. Not value for money. Food came late and cold however the taste was good.

The view from the platinum room is brilliant. Quite peaceful. The service is great, food is good. Located just by the beach with a private beach access in a very peaceful location. The garden is also lovely and so peaceful. Had a great stay.
Only con is, it is located atleast 5 km interior to mandarmani main area and the road to the entrance is broken and full of puddles. But once you enter inside, it's a different world altogether.

Visited this resort a couple of times and by far this is the best resort in entire Mandarmani region in terms of hospitality, food and services.

Worst staff behaviour I have ever encountered in any hotel. 1 staff told me "why don't you take another place if you are not satisfied with our services"

I always chose this property to stay at whenever I visit Mandarmani. I cant think of any other hotel. The sanitization is very good and all the services are just 5 star. Love this place and service.

Loved the ambience. Silent atmosphere, only thing that the cyclones had made a devastating effect on these properties. Would have loved if some music played in the evening. Staff behaviour were also good, swimming pool was clean and there were strict restrictions. Overall a good stay.

The pool is also cleaned and there are chair's kept by the pool side incase you want to keep your stuff. Also the quality of the food is also good. However this is the scenario in all the hotels by the seaside in Mandarmani nowadays is that room service is not up to the mark. So incase you want to order something you will atleast have a waiting time of more than 15-20 mins.

Except for these few challenges the stay at any sea side resort in Mandarmani is exceptional and pleasant.

Pathetic Hospitality & food quality was equally bad. The rooms are not well kept though the ambience is good. The check out experience is disgusting and Hotel was reluctant to share GST invoice though they were charging.
I would not walk into this Hotel any more time and will not recommend others to do so.

It was one of the best hotel in Mandarmoni before Yash Cyclone, however post cyclone there was lot of damages happen to the hotel and same is still under construction. Hotel is directly infront of the beach and compare to other resorts in Mandarmini this is still better.

Coming back to food qyality, there is lot of scope for the improvement. Indian, bengali, chinese and tandoor items they serve and food quality is just okay types.
For breakfast they provide Buffet, where food quality is absolutely not good even fruits which they served are not fresh. However in evening they provided live counter infront of the lawn, where they served really good starters and tandoories and mocktail which are really good. For that set up i can given them 3 star for food.

Rooms are good and having sea views from the balcony however post cyclone they have not done the proper maintainence. AC's are not working correctly some ac's do not have remotes, bed sheets are not clear, rooms are stinking, housekeeping staffs are not well behaved, you cannot expect room service person and house keeping staffs will revert you promptly. Understand about the room condition which they have faced post Yash cyclone, but please no excuse for the service, that needs lot of improvements. Still i would say Rooms quality is better than any other hotels in Mandarmoni post cyclone.

As a whole for hotel view, food quality, rooms quality, service, price, i would give 2 star to the hotel. Needs lot of improvement in terms of service. Everything can be changed and reconstructed, however service is man made only by guidence that can be improve.

Excellent place with awesome food. The food tastes so good. The overall stay was enjoyable. Close to the beach. The rooms a really good. Don't have much of complaints except when there is a full house, the service they provide degrades a lot. Otherwise great for a perfect weekend.

We 6 people came here with one child
Rooms were awesome, clean.
Food was very tasty and in the evening they have started a tandoor corner with reasonable cost.
Buffet breakfast consists of fruits, puri sabji, Poha idli, dessert, tea coffee etc.the restaurant food were tasty.
We went to the swimming pool, it was clean.
Only one issue faced that the main entrance to go to the sea beach is not yet repaired after yash, so you have to go from a different route.

Most Overrated hotel in Mandarmani #SonarBangla. Never visit again.

What we faced in a 2 n8 stay.

1.7 times electricity cut. But back in 5 to 10 min. Thank god I had not booked for any of my guests.
2. No cable only Tv there (visit time sep2021), They say In Bengali: recharge kora nei, puro hotel ei cholche na.
3. AC of 1 room was not working (fixed later at 3PM check-in date) room no 218.we stayed during that time in our other room.
4. In Dinner, We got 2 salad not good, can't able to eat.we raised that. Although later it was replaced by a Crispy babycorn while checking-out. (no refund)
5. I personally faced dirty coffee mugs and tray which making tea in the morning.
6. There are a shop in hotel premises, which charges extra for all items, But more importantly it closes on 10pm. Have to buy all your things before that. (as there is no outside local shops near, like other hotels)

Other things are quite okay.
1. Pool is good
2. Beach side sitting is good
3. The sea comes closer than the other hotel.for that reason, you dnt have any free beach to walk
4. Service boys are okay
5. Foods are okay
But.
Never experienced such challenging vacation in almost 5K/night hotel.

AND SPECIALLY for guys and families, who prefer drinks and other activities in open air space. NEVER VISIT HERE, you have to follow RULES in you Vacation.as they will not allow any activity in their lawn, garden or beach side (which actually Mandarmani all hotels quite famous for).
All you have to do in your rooms only, and where there will b an Full hotel AC Shutdown between 8pm to 10 pm. THESE 2 odds you will be clearly informed when you first check-in.

My personal suggestion as I have visited Mandarmani 5,6 times (diff hotels). This sonarbangla group Hotels, had no relation with ITC Sonar Bangla (which some may be confused). You will get many decent or luxurious hotel, with full free to enjoy your holiday with better pools, food and other amities, with no strict rules, in that price in Mandarmani. Thanks

This is a large property in mandarmani with sea facing rooms. Location is bit remote and with recent rains added up the pain. Now let's start with few points to keep in mind before you book this hotel:
1. Avoid online booking. Because once you reach hotel they will tell you your booking got cancelled though it will be having confirmed status in your app. Luckily there are rooms available in the hotel and we can successfully check in. So call hotel directly for booking.
2. We booked platinum room located at 1st floor. The only difference between ac delux room and platinum room is the view. If you are ready to pay double for front facing sea view then go ahead. Else you can book ac delux which will justify your stay at half amount with side view.

Now coming to pros and cons:
Pros:
1. In ac delux or platinum they allow upto 4 people. Room is around 300-350 sq feet decent enough for 3 people.
2. Beach is at your doorsteps. So yeah view is good and there are outdoor activities available for kids.
3. Free breakfast buffet is a gem, only thing to remember in this trip

Now coming to cons:
1. We pay 7500 for a platinum room. And service we got cannot be justified. We asked for plates which hotel staff declined rudely. We have to escalate it to get the issues resolved.
2. Management. We booked a zoom car for our travel which got damaged by their delivery guy at hotel's parking lot. We ask for estimation from zoom and zoom send us 10 k bill for damage. Hotel declined their role since there is note outside "park at your own risk". And the guy who causes the damage refuses to pay us the money. And funny part is hotel did not inform us this before our checkout. So we have to wait in sun for 4 hours for settlement before hotel involved police so that they can throw us out from hotel premises. After standing in sun for 4 hours I got sick and had a breakdown. It was one hell of a trip and worth remembering. After spending a cruel work week you will definitely look forward to such refreshing weekend.
Pro tips from me. Read carefully pay the damage don't fight with hotels. They are powerful people with strong background and you will just ruin 5 hours of your time for nothing. Choose option wisely. Do not repeat our mistake of fighting for our compensation. You do not deserve the harassment. Believe me.

Note: I gave 2 stars for my personal experience. You can go ahead and try this place. This incident can happen anywhere but they can deal it in a better way in future. Lastly, hotel compensated a small section of the damage after 5 hours but unluckily I have to fall ill before they agree to provide it. Cheers to the weekend ️

Horrible experience. Most overrated place. Great property with worst of service and people. Only the good thing about this hotel is located beside the beach.

Reasons why you shouldn't be here: -

1. Management don't even know the 'h' word of hospitality very rude behaviour. The GM Nabarun Malakar he behaves like a goon. He doesn't even know how to speak with a customer.

2. ACs don't work here. They changed our room but the ac didn't work again. We complained again and again and they did nothing. So we charged 4700 for a non AC room.
3. In this pandemic situation you need to borrow their used clothes for the pool. They don't have the fresh clothes to buy. Otherwise they won't allow you to use the pool.
4. If you prefer drinks beside beach then never ever visit here. You have to follow their rules in your vacation. As they will not allow any activity in their premises or beach side which Mandarmoni all hotels allow and famous for.
5. AC will shut down for two hours as per their rule. And they are claiming that every hotel does that in Mandarmoni.

Hotel is just good. Rooms are small. Swimming pool was pathetic. All the rooms lack privacy. Food price is little expensive.

Great hospitality, ambience. They are strict with there rules on public drinking inside the premise thus very much suitable for bringing in not only friends, but family and kids as well. Room service was great even though they had a full house packed weekend. The restaurant was also very nice. I recommend the food here very much. Take a buffet for each of the meals in a day and you will be spell bounded. The variety of food and quality/taste even in buffet was great. You can go for a-la-carte as well.
I have visited other 3 and 4 hotels in mandarmoni before but this stay was a great experience for me. I recommend and would also like to revisit this hotel whenever I plan a trip to mandarmoni.
I felt that the price overall is a bit high at first but the overall experience at the end surely exceeds that price.
I visited with my family and we have no complains at all. Currently some renovations are going on after the damage from yash cyclone but that did not affect any of their service or any of our activities.

Hotel property is one of the best but there are so many restrictions and service quality is very poor. You ask for bed tea they don't provide. Coffee after 10: 30 am is not provided. You can get beverages and food only as per their timing not as per guest request.

Worst service, very far from market place, Nothin to roam around, felt very lonely once you are outside the premises. Staff behaviour is not friendly.

Hospitality was good. Front desk staffs were very helpful. It was mid-week vacation. We enjoyed the SILENCE and peace all arround. The food was tasty with good room service. The security staffs were courteous and helpful.

Most terrifying experience ever with service.not even expected from Resort like HSB brand. For natural calamities pool were in under maintenance. This is understandable, but HSB team behavior are so casual, no solution, like discount or extra offer which is not in package.

Thanks to HSB VP, who tried to solve the problem, and made the pool ready within 1 night.but after the whole incident its seems their service team & manager approach is not much professional. Foods taste are terrible except breakfast items

And there are many small matter, which added negetive value to whole experience.it was my office trip, but next time onward for my personal trip or any, i would like to go any other resort (not taking any name) but not this atleast. My company even might blacklist this HSB after the whole incident.

The rooms and bathrooms were unclean. AC was not working. We had a terrible experience staying there. The breakfast items were minimum and the dining hall was unhygienic. The only positive point was the sea view location.

Stay was good enjoyed the serenity of the beach. Food was very tasteful. Room service very good. Only had difficulty (at my age) going to the beach because of broken steps, this maybe the after effect of the cyclone. Lot of repair work is going on.

This is a sad scenario to share that we made a reservation via Booking with a peace of mind that the properties shown are reputed and provides at least basic comforts to the guests arriving and staying at the property.

From our experience with this particular booking done at Hotel Sonar Bangla at Mandarmoni, we were given a very basic room with AC not cooling, water dripping from the AC in the room and the room is full of mosquitoes.

When the matter was escalated to the front desk we were given a reply with a pale face and the GM of the Hotel was not even bothered with the comfort of the guests staying at the property.

Firstly, the name of the property Hotel Sonar Bangla is a misleading name. We made a reservation at the property thinking this is a chain of ITC group of hotels, which is not the case.

Secondly, if you can't provide basic facilities to the arriving guests then in the first place you should not sell such properties to the guests.

I went with my family and friends. The sea facing rooms were good and spacious.can accommodate 1 extra bed easily if you want.
Ample of playing area for kids. Activities just outside the Hotel.

Pathetic road leading to the hotel.the hotel itself is good but one star because of the road leading to it.please beware before you embark on the journey.

Mandarmani is a seaside resort village in the state of West Bengal,  India, and lies in East Midnapore district, at the northern end of the Bay of Bengal. It is one of the largest seaside resorts of West Bengal, fast-developing.
Initially, after its discovery, this beach was named Mandarboni and also Madar Mani. But with time it came to be known as Mandarmani.
Hotel is verry nice

Stop selling Mineral Water at well over MRP. Please focus on your quality-quantity-price of your food and beverage. This really needs serious attention. This apart you have built a great property so far brick and mortar is concerned. The senior staff is great but the boys on work lacks training at times regarding internal communication and client relation.

Not at all value for money. Food is terrible and you won't get most of the items in Menu. Breakfast is so basic and the place they serve it is full of files. Half of the time ac was switched off which is far more than the time mentioned at the time of check in. When We had ordered dinner at room half of the items came and for rest of the items we had to wait for atleast 45 min even after repeated calling. And by that time those items came rest of food became cold. Only thing good about the hotel is the natural view and nothing else. Room tariff was per day 4500/- so not at all value for money. I'll never ever go there again.

Very good ambiance, food quality is okay as per price range. We stayed at platinum room with sea view and its worth every penny. No doubt its a best destination at mandarmani.

The hotel is located just beside the sea and the rooms are also up to the mark though a bit overpriced. The swimming pool, children's park were well maintained. The staffs were well behaved and prompt in providing good service even in peak season. The food tastes good but complimentary breakfast was a big disappointment. A perfect place to enjoying the charming Digha, this particular hotel which situated in the right side of the sea beach here, you can realized the sea each every moment. The behavior of the staff is so good, food is tasty.

Happiness per price index is very low.specially we have gone to many 4star and 5star hotels with swimming pool and good maintainance but none of them have such a bad restriction. Its ok that cotton and normal clothes are not allowed but they can atleast provide us with suitable and dress as per size and age. They are including that money in our costing but most of the guests are not been allowed there. Food was overall good. Specially staff and their hospitality was mindblowing. Only giving 3stars for them. The room was not at per the size and comfort of the price. Bathroom was OK. And the location was verygood. Overall we enjoyed our vecation, but at the cost of a very very very high price and not getting back a single penny of halpiness and comfort in return, Except hospitality and the location.

Sonar bangla Mandarmoni premium rooms are almost sea touching.really I never ever stayed so close to the fascinating seawater high tidal waves before. The vast front seabeach has awesome privacy. I visited sonar bangla mandarmoni from kolkata this february 2021, felt very rejuvinated, cherished fresh fried fish items. The night ambience of lawn and swimming pool area are magical.

Awesome place to spend quality time with family and friends. I liked the hotel ambience and breeze from the shore but to my surprise the hotel authority did not allowed me to enjoy my drinks outside in their lawn. So if your are a drinker and want to enjoy the breeze sipping your favourite beer or whisky outside your room, then this is not the place. Alcohol is restricted within the rooms only. Prices of the room I found it little on higher side but you can get a discount if the occupancy is not high.
Sand on the shore is muddy and if you think of having a bath in the sea then you may not like.

It was lovely and beautiful place. Must go with friends or family. Food and ambiance was awesome. I will go again. But far from mandarmoni market and roads are not good.

A very lavish & big resort at the Mandarmoni beach front with a good swimming pool & car parking facility. A three storied property without a lift!

My staying in this hotel is just ok. I am giving 2 Star just because of the location of the hotel and aminitis they have.other than this the management needs to improve a lot.

Avail rooms 9 to 17.these are the premium rooms.excellent rooms.nice sea view. Food is terrific.just a tad on the costlier side. All the tandoori items are just yumm. Ask chef for tandoori pineapple. It's the best.it's not listed on the menu though. Very pleasant stay.thanks

I like this hotel. Courteous staffs and really good food. Try to get platinum rooms or if you are in budget go for super deluxe rooms for see view. I enjoyed my stay there.

Complementary breakfast is pathetic, restaurent foods are below average.

Fairly decent place, though needs more staffing on weekends. The walkway to the sea-shore needs repairs since existing rocks/ boulder based path is not safe for children/ infirm.

Wonderful experience. A place of great and memorable stay. Only a couple of issues. There is no lift. The water in the swimming pool should be changed often in this pandamic.

Good property with good staff and services. When we visited (with family) there was a dealer meeting taking place. The hotel shifted the breakfast to a big hall along with the dealers, which was not good.

Good hotel but far from main road. Foods are very costly. Rooms also. In winter season one plate cauliflower curry is Rs. 180. Handmade breads Rs. 25 per piece. We paid these prices at high altitude areas in Sikkim. It was justified, not in plane land of west Bengal.

Staffs are cordial, property is clean, rooms are clean but small in size (considering the price). Here I am talking about AC Delux rooms. Food is tasty (Indian), price is a bit high but yes as they provide you with proper food so that shouldn't be a complain. The biggest downfall of this hotel is they will not allow you to sit in the lawn area which is infront of the hotel building along with alcohol. You will have to sit inside your room and enjoy which is irrational. This makes this hotel less attractive if I am planning a weekend trip with my friends. The management should think out a way for this as they should be able to cater a wide range of consumers. Driving for 200 km, spending 5 k everynight and then sitting inside hotel room doesnt make sense for a weekend retreat.

Average service compared to it's high price. Dining hall is full of insects like houseflies. It's horrible to dine here. Their flycatcher machine is not working & they are least interested to repair it. Poor hospitality. Moreover, the water of swimming pool is chilling cold in December. It's better to avoid swimming for children in winter months as they do not mix any warm water.
They burn huge plastics & their rubbish materials (hotels dustbin) within the hotel premises inadvertently without caring the guests convinence & cause air pollution.

I wish I could give it less than 1 star, but that's not a possibility. We call late night to make sure they have rooms available. The operator was clearly drunk sounding, and affirmed that they have, and I quote, 24 rooms available at the moment. When we arrive 30 mins later, it took us several minutes of honking before the guard, who was drunk out of his mind and reeked heavily of alcohol opened the gate. He said there are no rooms available.

When we called the operator, he laughed in his drunk merry state, and said "Yes I said rooms were available, but now they're not. Hehehe. Sorry". After which the guard was rude too and tried talking back to us with his head inside our car window (reeking of alcohol). YUCK. Worst experience ever.

Pathetically maintained and very poor service and rude staff is the icing on the cake. The resort has a decent location, but facilities are ill-maintained, leaking toilets, walls with holes, bed mattress with holes, toilet flush doesnt work, bathtub has stains and all pipes leaking in bathroom. It all spoils the look and feel of this hotel and you end up feeling, you are being overcharged. To add to it, staff is rude, unhelpful and laid back and management AGM and GM (Pronoy Maity and Kanhaiyya Mishra) refuses to acknowledge problems, even if we complain. Hotel doesn't live up the name, 'Sonar Bangla'. Rose Valley (now suncity) is much better.
P. S. - Sorry I am attaching just the pics highlighting the flaws mentioned above, as I was horribly disappointed by the hotel. I rarely give such a rating to my stay!

It's a nicely located beach property with the following facts in my views:
Cons:
1. Prices: It's definitely overpriced as per the amenities, maintenance, room quality and services
2. Services: Though they claim that they provide premium quality of services but the real facts are something else.
They don't have any 24×7 front desk or room service. They have a fixed schedule for the availability of dinning. That means if you want a cup of tea at 7am or 5pm you will not be able to get it as Breakfast time is 8am onwards and evening tea is from 6pm.
The reception remains closed till 8am in the morning.
3. Staff: the attitude of the staff is very frustrating and reluctant
4. Cleanliness: is very poor for everything.specially bathrooms, linens cutlery sets, room
The maintenance of room is not up to the mark according to the star rating and the price they charged.
5. Breakfast: Though it is included with the tariff, there is only 5 or 6 items in the buffet with poor quality. You have to prepare your own tea or coffee, for non vegetarian you get only boiled eggs.nothing else!
Pros:
1. Location: very nice, just on the beach with a very nice sitting area for sea view
2. Barbeque corner: the evening barbeque arrangements is really very nice, though vegetarian options are less
3. The overall food quality is average
4. Outside: Lawn, gardens and pool are OK

The overall impression is Sonarbangla is average but overpriced beach resort for average people. It doesn't have any premiumness.

Rooms were mouldy and and dampy. Service was ok. Food price was reasonable. Pool service was unacceptable. All in all it was lacking empathy from the customers. Many grievances were present for example the lack if any kind of tele network anywhere except the reception. For my whole stay i felt like i was derached from my working and social life. Restaurant service was less than acceptable. These mistakes can be checked within a short period of time.hope i will get better services on my next visit.
All in all it was a 1.5 star service. 5 for the food.

I had read decent reviews about this place. So I planned our weekend trip here in June. In the morning when I reached, I was happy to see the ambience. Then when I checked in, I saw that their rooms were extremely substandard. Broken floor tiles, dirt and stain in the corners, dirty linens and curtains, lack of amenities, no ventilation or exhaust fans in the restrooms and to top it all extremely ill-behaved staff. We had gone there in a big group and had booked 4 rooms. All were equally bad. We had booked one room for 3 people and had pre-paid the extra person's charge. When we checked in, we saw that the room was not even spacious enough for 2 people. So, they said they would set up the extra bed at night, which they never did. We also had to call them multiple times for extra towel and blankets. The ACs were old windows AC which couldn't be regulated much. Worst part was, there was no water in the entire building the next morning. Some of us had to buy and use bottled water. The manager and staff were not even apologetic for it. We got delayed in checking out because of this (2-3 people in rooms without water, you can imagine). They started abusing us for the delay. The AC remained off for 3-4 hours 2 times in a day as a part of hotel policy, but that was mentioned before. The food was average and dining place was quite smelly. We tried pomfret fish which was stale. Bengali veg items were good though. They have direct beach access, pool and kids' playing areas which were the good parts of the stay. Come what may, I am never going back to this place!

Staffs: Most disturbingly unprofessional. And there is one man in the reception who will read the whole rule book aloud at arrival giving you a quirky feel of staying in a jail.
Now, the most beautiful surprise, you will be charged around 6.5K for one night if you are as unlucky as I am.

But even in these adversities if you get out from your room, the lawns and other outdoor areas are awesome. Beautiful beach, beautiful location.

We had a group booking recently at the property. We carried with us the previous experience of staying at HSB Kolaghat. The scenario is totally different.
The rooms are cramped for 3 people stay, less than 100sqft. The ACs are overworked over the long period of usage and were not able to cool seamlessly. Especially rooms facing the sun are like ovens. AC remains off 6: 30 pm to 8 pm and 9am to 11am (rule of all hotels at Mandarmani). Even the position of the AC is not in line with the placement of the bed. Some rooms have 32" LEDs come have 20". Fridge in the room did not cool properly. The pool was dirty (apparently sea water gets into the property and spoils the pool & garden all the time).
Food is also not that much of a mood lifter. Chicken curry is the worst hit.
Well price of stay is also not cheap. So forgiving all the above lacunae does not make sense.

Not a pleasant place to stay. No electricity from 6pm to 8pm. They charged INR1000 for loss of key.
Only 1ton window AC in rooms. Not enough to cool it. Horrible food. Please don't go.

We checked in with kids and elderly at around 5pm. The access to the beach was easy and pleasant. It is a non commercial area so it is better to eat from the hotel's restaurant. The rooms and bathrooms were average. There was a constant foul smell in one of the baths. The window ac was very noisy and since they keep the controls with themselves so there is no way that you can adjust the temperature on your own.
The access to the swimming pool is allowed strictly in swimming costumes only. We had ours so it was not a problem for us. They provide costumes on 350/per person per access.
There is a small shop that has water, snacks, swimming tubes, small toys, etc.
The restaurant food was average. Neither too good nor too bad! They have a buffet breakfast spread which is included in the room charges.

The next day we had to check out and we had requested that we will check out by 12 noon. Their check out time is 11am. So we needed just an extra hour since we had a 1year old baby and a 4yr old kid. But, they switched off the ac in our rooms at exactly 11am. This was the first time I had to face such a situation in a hotel that claims to be a 3 star. Even in a 5 star, the hotel management never does such a thing. This was quite shocking to us.

Overall, it was an average place to stay.

Not worth the money. We took the deluxe room and it wasn't properly maintained. Bed sheets, pillows and sofas all seemed stained and dirty! Their food was the only thing that I liked

Best place to enjoy with family n frndz. Suprb park, pool, restaurant n best part is near beach they have sitting place and we can enjoy the ni8 view from there with background music.

I visited 20th may, 2018. The hotel is of good facilities and amenities. The location is right beside the beach and less crowded. All the room is equipped with AC. But the control is at reception.

Lawn is good. I love the swings. And also loved the seating arrangement just facing the beach. They have play house and trampoline for children.

Swimming pool is fine. They are very specific about the swim dresses. Only proper material (parachute) clothes are permitted. Don't worry, if you don't have it, you can hire from them.

Food is fine. Loved the evening snacks item. Try the reshmi kebabs.

Over priced and over used hotel. The 3 stars are for quality of the swimming pool, children play area and location of the hotel. Everything else is a negative. Service is zero, food is aweful. Tiny rooms, shabby washrooms. No value for money if you do not use the pool and lawn extensively.

Located adjacent to the Mandarmani Beach, The Rooms are spacious and Beautiful. The workers are friendly and Positive. Overall the experience is worth every penny!

We usually stay at this place yearly twice or thrice. Used to be a great place for holiday.we last traveled June 2018.
Now maintainance is very poor. Old window AC, several times power cut. Usually 2 to 4 times more than scheduled AC off timings. Draining water from AC flooded the balcony. Tata sky was deactivated. After telling several times they recharge it nxt day. After cleaning the room they give tea bags etc without washing hand. Poor hygienic condition.
Food and staffs behavior is good though.
Now there are many options of beach side resorts with pool. If they will not correct the issues many customers will go to other options surely.

Nice place but food is not that good. Beach here is different from Goa and Andaman as you will find beach flat and calm but it misses the charm which Goa beaches usually have.

Very very bad service.behavior is good but service and food quality is not worth.
Very disappointed and worst part experienced almost other customers not to visit. Only good thing is location and sea facing sitting arrangements. No good rate for Driver night stay and food.

It's a decent family hotel with basic amenities, swimming pool, sea beach view. However, the staff is not at all courteous. If you're going with friends, it's better you avoid this place. Good is average with price on higher side.
