Really a good 5 star hotel in tarapith. Fooding, Lodging and hotel service are really very good

Deluxe rooms were congested and rooms were not proper cleaned. They didn't do the house cleaning properly

AC Deluxe rooms are small in size.great service and very close to mandir.overall nice place to stay

Worst place.the management is reduculas.my phone was stolen by one of the staff near the swimming pool.n when the management was informed to investigate they all became a side n stated giving death threats to us.this is not done yet few of them started leaving hands on us
. I request you not to have a experience is this hotel if you don't want such a insult. I am going to take a legal action.will make sure this hotel will not be running so long

Great place to spend time with family members. Rooms are clean and spacious. Food served is also tasty and fresh. Room service is good.kids enjoyed the swimming pool.overall experience is great

Unfortunately Econest was not available due to which we decided to stay at Sonar Bangla and it was a very painful experience
The rooms were not cleaned properly and Cockroaches were there in the room Also to highlight Staff were quite blatant in their approach and demanded tip like we owe them

Rooms were spacious, clean, well maintained, staffs were professional & courteous.
Location is great too! Nearby kali mandir.was a good stay and will visit again!

It was not worth paying about Rs 3300 per night for such shabby accommodation in the old building. Feel totally deceived.

Good service and food. Not that much of nature surrounding it. But for normal stays, you might consider this hotel. If you came for photography, you will have a better chance at Amantran hotel which is just a few kilometres away from here.

Probably the best in tarapith.a nice pool, huge parking space, hygienic meals.they have a deluxe and premium rooms. Premium rooms are very upmarket and finding rooms like this is rare in tarapith.

We booked two deluxe room (301,302) not good experience at all. Rooms are not cleaned even stain in the bed also. Not a 3 Star hotel.

I called this hotel since morning but no-one is available to receive call at last I book this hotel at 12: 15am on 14 September 2021 but still one one is available to pick up my call. When ever I go to Tarapith always I stay in this hotel but this time I m not satisfied.

Good place to stay as a guest to visit Tarapith temple.parking available.fooding also available.and most important you will stay here with your pets if you have your pet with you.

Very nice property. Unfortunately has lost its lustre because of poor upkeep. Service was prompt and courteous, and the food served of acceptable quality. Walking distance from the Temple. Needs renovation and maintenance, especially the bathrooms.

Worst hotel I ever visit in my life, in name of "Sonar Bangla" They are charging money as three star property. No hygiene maintain, unprofessional staffs, dirty rooms. Rooms are look like a 500 guest house room. Ordered for dal makhani and paneer do pyaza and the food came just horrible. If you want to spoil your stay in tarapith then stay here.

The entire hotel is much good and the space is enough for the boarders. The service is of at class. But, it's too much expensive.

Not up to the mark. Rooms are not clean. AC is not in working condition.

We have been staying at Sonar Bangla Tarapit since their inception, we always enjoy their hospitality, This is the best place in Tarapit

Not all amenities like tooth brash, tooth paste, saving kit provided. Food quality in restaurant is not upto the mark with respect to 3 star hotel. Wifi service is not good.

They have written lots of things about hygine and sanitization but not a single thing is maintained. None of the staffs or workers were wearing masks. Even the food is not beeing taken care of. We got cockroache in our food. We immediately complained. They came and checked and then changed the food. Our family memebers got sick and started vomiting after this.

When we first entered the room, there was no connection of the land line, we had to inform them thrice then they changed. There was no access to the television as well. We needed to inform them twice or thrice then they recharged. The inlet or outlet pipe of geyser was leaking. There was very poor exhaust system in the washroom hence suffocating. One of the washroom-doors of our booked rooms was neede to be pushed harder to lock.

If you are dialing the reception, most of the time it is not picked up. On last nisht of our stay, there was a marraige function arranged which was started at around 12am (midnight) with loud annoying music. I called the reception to ask when it would be eneded they told me they did not know and dial the main reception for any query and I did so. The main reception's number was engaged that time. It continued till 1.15am. Then we managed to sleep.

Here another point is written pets are not allowed. But we found two pets. We also have pet if it would be mentioned earlier that they would allow pets we could have taken ours.

No elevator is there. My mother and two aunts have knee joint pain. You will not find elevator in there. But there is one in the entrance building. However my family members are facing knee pain after visiting there. They haven't mentioned anything about elevator. I would suggest please do mention at least no elevator facility is there so old people can avoid this place. Or they can mention ground floor preference during booking

A lovely hotel with beautiful greenery and an amazing swimming pool. Room service is also excellent. But the food quality is not up to the mark.

I have been this place last 5 years ago. I love the place. Because it is equipped with swimming pool, villas, cottage and also with the rooms. People are cooperative and nice. You can book directly or evening can come directly to hotel for room bookings. Saturday and Sunday's are considered to be rush day as devotes comes for Darshan. Other day's rooms are available. Overall place is good for family stay.

The hotel is nice, a little on the expensive side. This is one of the best available in tarapith. Around 180 rooms are available with ample parking. The is a huge swimming pool, trampoline and other rides for kids as well. But we were highly dissatisfied with the maintenance of the hotel, a little low on the hygiene side. The service is quite good though. Food is tasty and quantity is quite good. A plate of rice costs 100 bucks, it will be enough for two. But some items are very overpriced, 2 pieces of bread and an omelette is 150 bucks.

We stayed in a suite room no 314 as we were two families togethe. And the suited suited us just fine.overall our stay was very pleasant room was very comfortable, food excellent, room service Very good, staff very well behaved.

Expensive but quality of food & living is gr8. It also has got a Swimming Pool Inside & a large parking space and a small playground for kiddos.

The outer look of hotel is very good.but interior space of room and bed cleaning is not more good. Room rent of the hotel is economical.

Good Hotel. Spacious Restaurant available. Hotel having swimming pool. Servicing is however not very nice and recommendable. However for a short visit it is OK.

Food is very oily, extremely ordinary.
Ill furnished rooms add to the woes.

REMEMBER, EXTERNAL LOOKS ARE DECEIVING.however I think it is the best you get in Tarapith.

Best in tarapith. One of the better property with big swimming pool kids play area. N specially the suit room almost 2 BED ROOM WITH BIG DINING AREA. ANYWHERE 10 TO 12 PATRON CAN ACCOMMODATE.

Really good in all respect - like - accomodation, in-house-environment, services, quality food, very good tea, cleanliness, more over front-table-staff's behaviour. Over all very good as well as homely.

Worst experience.food quality was horrible.although they have charged as 3 start hotel price but the food quality was very cheap.

The Hotel is nice on the exterior. But the Hotel has got many problem once you are inside. The staff is quite ordinary and the room service is very slow. The complimentary tea kits provided by the Hotel is also below standard. However, the Rooms have got geysers and a freezer. The Pool side of the Hotel is really nice. Last but least the resturant in the Hotel is not up to the mark. The AC Rooms are quite a pocket - pinch. For me the stay is not worth the money.

Having said that if one is considering visiting Tarapith Temple as there only purpose of visit and wants to spend one night then the Hotel will do just good.
