One of the worst restaurants. They provide a plate of curry worth Rs. 150 in a mini size container, in which usually chutni is provided. 1 plate curry in chutney container. People should avoid buying food from this restaurant. People should even come together to stop such nonsense activities. They are basically robbing customers in broad day light. Worst quantity and taste. Awful restaurant.
Average rating but justified according to the price. It can be open as an option for one night stay for those who come from nearby towns and cities for work purpose.
One of the better option for Bengali food in this area. Variety is there. Behaviour of staffs is okay, but the owner is extra polite. Combos are also available.
Food is good But staff behaviour is not wht i expected Vai hum log free mei khana khane nhi jate hai Soo I suggest them to behave well with their guests
I had ordered food but it almost took half an hour to complete for a small menu and the food was already cooked and was just reheated and served, also the taste was not that good and it was also very unhygienic and it really caused me problems afterwards. For me, i Don't recommend this hotel for dine
Ok-ish food. Space constraint. Quantity is unnecessarily increased by adding up cheap vegetables in mutton liver curry and paneer curry. Avoid unless absolutely necessary.
Located right at the lane of Upkar Club in Siliguri, this small restaurant provides authentic Bengali delicacies which tastes like just home cooked food by mum. They have wide variety of lost Bengali dishes which modern household doesn't make because of lack of time like mochar ghonto, thor ghonto, hasher dimer jhol, aloo posto, dhokar dalna, mutton keema, mete chochhori at a very affordable prices. Their tadka, hasher dimer jhol, dhokar dalna and aloo posto is highly recommended and they taste like heaven. The owner is also very well behaved, polite and respectful towards customer. Must visit. Also provides service via Zomato.
A very authentic bengali restaurant with a typical bengali flavour in the menu. Both vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes are served here at a very cheap and reasonable price. Mostly heavy meals are served, so not a place for snack. A highly recommended place.
Someday restaurant has taken Rs. 10 for one porota and some day they has charged Rs. 20 for one porota. Restaurant owner behaviour is very bad. Worst restaurant I have ever seen in Siliguri. For some regular local customer, he is showing attitude to unknown customers. Not recommended at all. Please go to Dada Bhai restaurant, which is situated very nearer to this hotel. They are giving far better food at reasonable rate.
Hotel Uttara is a nice hotel considering its rate and quality. The rate of a veg thali is Rs. 70. The thali has rice, dal, 2 or 3 vegetables, dahi, chutney one bhaja. The quality of food is good and frequent travellers often visit this hotel.
Too basic. But reasonably clean and livable for a night. We had to leave early in the morning and reached NJP at midnight. Checked in at night but was told that no tea would be available in house. We are hoping we find tea somewhere on the streets at 5am
