Awesome view from the top. 360 degree view. You have to walk / climb a bit distance from the gate to reach there.
Climbing means not like rock climbing, but a high rise walkway, but in the end it is worth walking. A homestay is also there but my advice is not to stay there, because if you come down for anything you will think twice next time.
After the sunset you can't even spend 5 minutes outside the room as a freezing wind blowing all the time. It has a tea garden beside it.

Location wise the place is good.but the condition rooms, cleanliness is very poor.the bathroom was not clean.they use the same broom to clean the toilet and the room.the food was below average.as the time passes the whole room filled with various kind of insects.except the location i found nothing good about it.

This is amazing place to stay in Ahaldara top. You will get amazing view all the day. You have to walk little bit to reach there

Horrible service! Awestruck at the terrible behaviour from the caretakers probably due to the lack of man power, only 2 people assigned for 4 separate rooms for each and every responsibilities! Been to North Bengal for 6-7 times but never received so much ill-treatment, they usually are extremely nice and homely.

Most importantly, there was no document verification, extreme lack of professionalism. The place is extremely beautiful and exotic, however the service is worse which spoils the good feeling about the place.

Very lovely and helpful people. The location is awesome. Although the road condition is very bad to this place but once you reach there, you will feel worth it.

A couple of points which I liked very much:

1. Not expensive. It is a offbeat place in high altitude with bad roads. Still not that expensive
2. BEAUTIFUL views from the rooms (hills, rivers, tea gardens)
3. We stayed in the tent. The tent quality is VERY good. You will not have any issue if you stay in tent in the winters
4. The BBQ! ️ Maaan, the BBQ is soooo good. HIGHLY recommend!
5. There are 3 washrooms available for those who stays in tent. No issues there.
6. Food quality is excellent!

The location is excellent. A 360 degree view of the mountains can be seen. I didn't stay there though, it worth staying. By the way, it is not a homestay, rather a resort. During October through March, wonderful view of Mt. Kanchenjunga is seen.

This is same as the 360 degree Ahaldara view point Homestay. Nice place to spend one night. Seems to be within cloud and the views are mesmerising.

Place is no doubt good.but the view point is depending upon your luck.if your luck is bad then it's a foggy view.otherwise it's very very very much good

Beautiful view point for watching a part of mount Kunchenjungha. Cincona park is there. One lake is also there approximately 300 m away from the view point.

A perfect place to witness Mt kanchanjangha 360 degree.a nice place to enjoy the serenity of nature and the vastness of the mountain.hospitality is worth mentioning along with the room service.must stay if anyone planning to stay at latpanchar.

Nice place, one must spend a night here to see the full beauty of the Kanchanjanga and much more. It like top of the world feeling.

Scenic beauty, calm atmosphere, one should experience night stay in the tent. Owner and other staffs are so good, their behaviour is very good as well as the food.

Very nice homestay as per in view. Ahaldara is a 360 degree view spot so from here you can see full 360 view. And this home stay situated in exactly in this spot so this is the big advantage. Room and bathrooms are clean and it is also resonable.if you want you can stay in tent also. The road is not good so take care.

The homestay is at the top of the view point with 360 degree view.it has both tents and cottages. Tents are beautifully positioned and one could enjoy the sight of Kanchenjunga just by sitting at the tent.

Exceptional location and 360 degree view from top. I was on Ahaladara and perhaps this is the best place to stay. Go for it!

One of the worst managed, money centric (not customer centric) homestays in the eastern Himalayas! Location is a gift from the nature, so is impeccable.the owner has not created this.what he created and manages currently, is devoid of any thought and application of mind. One needs to be there, to experience this unsavoury experience!

Best place for Kanchan junga viewing. Staying here is itself an awesome experience. Cottages are fairly good geyser and clean toilet. Food isn't that good. You carry your drinking water.

Situated st awesome place, best view from here. You can see 360 degree view from here. Only need some more maintenance of old 3 rooms, also road is very bad.
