J Ghosh Tea stall

Better known as Jharu Ghosh tea stall. A roadside tea stall just ahead of Kolaghat Bridge from Kolkata side. Famous for bakery biscuits, bread toast, tandoori tea lanka tea etc. Cannot be categorized as Must Visit eatery.

Quality of tea with pokora's combination its good for test. Best place for Tea Break.

Bengali without tea can't be imagined.
So good tea shops are blessings.

It's a roadside tea shop near kolaghat bridge but it's not only a tea shop, moreover you can
have some snacks. Good place to take a break & have some food like pakodas (most famous snacks with tea) & other foods.

কিন্তু চিকেন পকোড়া যেই তেলে ভাজা হয়, সেটা পরিবর্তন করা দরকার. তেলটা অনেক দিনের পুরোনো

Variety of milk tea along with tasty chicken pakora available, shop opening time 11 A. M to 3 P.m then 4 P. M to 9 P. M

While travelling by Ola, the driver stopped in here for a tea break. He claimed it was the best tea on that stretch of road. The tea was served in a single use pottery teacup.
It was pleasant tea and a variety of pasteries were also on offer. I tried a dry, sweet pastry. It complimented the tea nicely.
Sadly, used cups and dishes are thrown amongst nearby trees. No bin or bin collection is provided in this isolated location. It's an eyesore.
There is some seating and shelter, but very rudimentary.

Absolutely amazing tea. Beside high road. Not a big or aesthetic shop. So so much simple but worthy spot to take a sip of tea.

Very good. Best place for snacks, Tandoor chai, egg toast etc.in the way to Digha, Haldia, Midnapore.

Definitely need to try the tandoori tea here.if you are visiting this area.just give it a try.you will not be disappointed.

Try tandoori tea, plain tea, Chicken pakoda or other general tiffin items but specility is Tandoori tea
