Jagannath Guest House

Just returned from this guest house. Staffs were polite but they had no control on guests. Everybody shouted and did nuisance. I went with my kid and could not sleep for two nights because the guests started to get ready to go to temple at 2 am. It was a horrible experience. Other than that the rooms were clean geyser worked fine. It is situated near iskon main temple which is just few minutes by toto.

Very poor experience. The owner and staff have no control over the boarders. Though they claim fixed check-in hours, people come and go at all odd hours. All night people shout at the top of their voices across the corridors, so do NOT expect a good night's sleep here. Washrooms are next to each other with paper thin walls, so have a great time listening to you next boarders toilet habits. If you are coming with elderly people and a family who expects rest and quiet at night - this is not the place. And when complaining about this issue, the owner smiles and says "eta bari na eta guest house". Truly, coz even my rented place has cleaner toilets and less noisier fans. And of course, a quieter room and area at night.

নদীয়া জেলার মায়াপুর ইসকন মন্দিরের আশেপাশে যে সমস্ত অতিথিশালা বা হোটেল রয়েছে তার মধ্যে অন্যতম জগন্নাথ গেস্ট হাউস । অনলাইনের মাধ্যমে এবং স্পট বুকিং এর মাধ্যমে রুম বুক করার ব্যবস্থা রয়েছে। হোটেলের চেক ইন টাইম রয়েছে সকাল ন'টা এবং চেক আউট টাইম রয়েছে পরদিন সকাল নটা। আনমেরিড কাপল এলাউ রয়েছে । তবে লোকাল আইডি যেমন- আধার কার্ড, ভোটার কার্ড, ড্রাইভিং লাইসেন্স, বা পাসপোর্ট বাধ্যতামূলক। বাইরের খাবার অ্যালাও করা হয় না তবে রিসেপশনে বলে রাখলে খাবার ডেলিভারি দেওয়ার ব্যবস্থা রয়েছে । সাইটসিন এর জন্য গাড়ির সুব্যবস্থা রয়েছে ‌। হোটেল পরিসরে গৃহপালিত পোষ্য কোনভাবেই অ্যালাও করা হয় না ।

We Check in here for 3 days. This Is very good hotel for staying Also stuff behavior was very well and room, bathroom was very clean.

Tiny rooms with cockroach and lizards. Smelly blankets with lots of mosquitos.
Beds are of concretes and a matress was there that is also not good enough.
Room tarriff is 1500 with either ac or geyser which is more than the quality.
Far better rooms available in the price.
A complete waste of money.
Only online booking and no refund available on cancellation.

I suggest all to go for other option.
Giving one star is not worthy.very bad experience, very bad facilities and uncomfortable stay.i don't think that they should take even 1000rs for a day.

Worst hotel possible and combined with the worst condition of rooms and facilities is the arrogant behaviour of the manager, Souvik. None should book a stay in this hotel in Mayapur. There are better places to stay and enjoy the spiritual serenity of Mayapur.

Stayed here for one day. The young guy in the reception was really helpful. Room and Washroom were clean. It's a bit far from the Iskcon temple although Toto's are available throughout the day so it isn't a issue.

Friendly guest house, close to ISKCON/ToVP. They were accommodating to open doors for mangal aarti and late night for Janmashtami. Offered room service for cleaning, bed sheets, towel. And arranged a cab for Kolkata airport. Of course, this is outside ISKCON campus, but, totos are easily available.

Good if you have not planned beforehand and visiting at the time of rush like Janmastami. In usual days better book lodge out of the iskon properties. Rooms and Bathrooms are clean. Staffs are helpful.
Foods are served on demand from outside.
Near to Hulor Ghat.
Beside the Jalangi River. River view can be enjoyed.
But prices are high.
