The food wasn't good at all. We ordered several items but nothing was upto the mark. Very overhyped and not worth it at all. Pizza crust, pasta, the sauces used or the veggies, nothing seemed to be at par.
Nostalgic and always a warm welcome.its been serving the same tasty menu since time immemorial.the Family Garlic bread and Nachos always bring back the old memories and is a must Try on every visit.not to forget the mocktains and the Mexican rice. If it's Mexican.it's Jalapeños
Good place with great food and ambience! We would surely recommend their original jalapeños nachos and italian sizzler with pasta (must try)! Do try their garlic bread and virgin mojitos! Overall good for small bites! Just one odd thing which was “No Washroom” not even for washing hands!
The place is very awesome and manager Mahesh Singh is very cooperative and great person great food Quality.but one thing a Bengali person is not good because he is showing very attitude also rude behaviour I ask him for percel he doesn't help me
Only Veg place, but still me and my family members are the regulars here which itself shows how wonderful this place must be It's newly done pastel and chic interior oozes out class and so does the food. Be it sizzlers or their signature dish The Garlic Bread.only con is that they don't serve any hot beverages as without a hot cup of coffee it's difficult for me to enjoy my food but I still love coming back here. Expensive place but worth it.
The staff's impeccable service further enhanced the overall dining experience, making it truly memorable. The food was absolutely delicious, offering a variety of flavorful dishes that satisfied my taste buds.
A Restaurant you can bank on for the same quality of food whenever you go. Delightful and Sumptuous. Mind it! It's cheesy and heavy on the stomach. Not for those who like Authentic Italian. Its a dream meal for the " Indian version Italian" lovers.
The cost and the taste of food doesn't really match now a days. Usually it used to be good but now a days it's not upto the mark the sizzler is very stale, the starter are also so-so. If you don't like spicy food then it's still a good place but otherwise please choose something else.
A place which started its journey small and is now a paradise for vegetarians was as usual, fully booked. The food was amazing, ordered a cheese fondue and a mexican fajita sizzler. The portions were good enough for four as their was no room for dessert. The prices are a little towards the higher side but the taste was worth it!
The place is nice but I did not like the family garlic bread. Although Jalapenos is famous for its garlic bread but it has so much of extra cheese n oil. Cheese lovers can give a try but it's too oily also.
Undisputedly the best mexican and Italian food in town!
The starters as well as the main course menu is very comprehensive and good. Starters - Nachos, Supreme Nachos, Family Garlic Bread, Crusty Fingers, Tacos, are all good.
Main course: All sizzlers are excellent! The Italian sizzler is most famous. You can try the pastas - white, red and mixed sauce.
The rice dishes and baked dishes are really good too. Tex Mex rice is recommended if you want to go for something spicy. Mexican rice with veg curry is for people who like a little bit of sweetness. The lasagne, fajitas are good too.
The service is very quick. However, the quality of the regular water is really questionable. Opt for a bottle of mineral water.
There is usually a wait on weekends and evenings. Sunday evenings can get quite busy. You wil see people here all through the day.
This is the most unhygenic place one can be. They do not have washroom and hand place to wash your hand. The kitchen is as dirty as a road side joint. Please peep into the kitchen from back side where they send you for loo you will never want to visit this place. For kids specially. They give lots of aginomoto which is again unhealty for any person. Big noo for this place
Jalapenos is a Mexican cafe nestled on Camac Street right next to Saturday Club ideal for inexpensive dates, quick family meals and a hangout for friends. It is 100% vegetarian and has a wide spread of quality Mexican cuisine as well as an extensive mocktail, shakes and non alcoholic beverage menu. Pocket pinch is 800 INR for two persons for a starter, a main and drinks. Ambience and hygiene is decent and staff service is courteous and fairly quick but some thought should be given to the music (directly played off the TV which isn't appropriate for all audiences). The portions are however, inadequate for two persons if you want a proper meal.
The best Italian restaurant in town. Dishes like cannelloni, garlic bread, jacked potatoes, Italian sizzler, sizzling brownie, quesidillas and lot more items are ther which you will crave for.
This is a small but very busy eating joint. We went on a Sunday and it was packed. The staff is polite and courteous. And the food is great. So that's pretty much you would want from the restaurant right? Actually i am giving one less star because they dont have a place to wash hands which i believe is a must even if u dont have a washroom.
Even though it's a bit expensive, the food here is quite yummy! If you are in the mood to splurge on veg food, then do try it out. My fav here is their family garlic bread and the spaghetti aglio e olio
The family garlic bread is unmissable. Its the best ever. The Greek salad is also good, but not the best of you want to go for less fat. Apart from that, almost every other item on the menu is finger-lickin good. Italian and Mexican cuisines mostly.
Please do not visit this place ever. If you want to try a pasta which is a cross between Chinese and Italinian, then only think of spending money in this place. Most awful restaurant I have ever been to, in this city.
