Best place to have chole bhature in Kolkata. Very affordable and good taste. Perfect for a Sunday breakfast. 3 bhature along with chole and lassi cost around 90Rs. Just make sure to go there with time in hand, if you are visiting on Sunday as it's very busy.
I am going to take persel for my family, one piece 25 rs is very expensive for our kolkata people and taste was not touch the legacy of this shop, chola curry taste not good, bhatura size big but price matters here, I am not satisfied
1. The batora, no doubt, is like a proper batora. Big in size, extremely soft and fluffy. 2. The chana served alongside is spicy, red and compliments the bhatora just perfectly. 3. The pickles and onion served aside enhances the taste and flavour that you'll want to have more but beware the bhatoras are oily and consuming more than 2 can cause discomfort later in the day like getting too thirsty. 4. They accept QR/online payments as well.
The cost per batora is Rs7.50.1 plate including 2 bhatoras and a plate of chana is Rs 50. Separate full plate of chana is Rs 35. For parcel one can also take 1 plate including 3 batoras and 1.5 plate chana for Rs 75.
Everything is good here, they will serve you hot chole bhature, but they don't have proper sitting place (you can sit there on foothpath while eating). And also if you want to take away chole bhature after a certain time you will not feel not satisfaction.
Loved the food. This place located in the insides of Padmapukur serves the most authentic North Indian Chole Bhature you will get if you want to get away from the Bengali Chole Bhature that is actually served in Calcutta. It is spicy at the right amount. That does not mean its hot. The Bhatures are soft and perfectly “burst” able. It serves only Chole Bhature and Lassi and nothing else. So if you are in the mood to try out some near to Delhi Chole Bhature in town, there’s nothing like this one.
It's a small shop in Bhawanipur. Their bhature is famous. However, I personally liked their chhole chana. It's too spicy. It may be not good for health.
This is a small roadside eatery that is exactly what it should be. Absolutely no care for looks, but the product is one to swear by. Chhole bhaturey is what they sell, and somehow they have mastered the art of the same. I am a frequenter to this place and never in all these years have ever had a problem eating here.
