Jaya Cinemas - City Mall Barasat

The worst theatre experience in my LIFE. Period. Firstly, there was a strict written warning that no videos should be taken but there was no such thing for photos, hence it's legal. Videography means piracy while taking some photos shouldn't. Ok, let's assume that they have said it but still as I took some photos, (though saying something is different from a printed poster and uploading photos in social media is very good) they just threatened me flashing light on my face and as I went to loo, they were sizing me up and shooting their bloody eyes. They were simply rude. I mean I have purchased tickets and what are they offering is simply rude behavior. The toilet the lift is suffocating as hell even 2 people in the lift just and not being able to breathe at all. Why would people prefer this instead of INOX Star Mall or any other hall? Talking of pocket friendly for bangla film Nandan is there so no justification for it. Minimum decency is required that could be said politely too.

This multiplex must shut down within a few days.

Movie theatre is good, ac appropriate, sound is awesome but the screen is not so good.

Screen view best, but no online option to purchase food only cash.so when you visit this place carrying cash

Price is a little high for small screen.but okay for big screen.sound system is good. Atmosphere is good. Popcorn, cold drink & water price is very high at their counter so i would suggest to carry water and food from outside (which is allowed)

The overall experience was good. The sitting arrangement is good. Visuals are good and clear. But I didn't like the sound. It should be equalised or balanced. It's too loud and the treble is too high.

The fecilities aren't that good.
The screen quality isn't great either it was probably a little better than average! I would say. Don't go for it if you're choosing a movie with a ticket price above RS/- 150
There are far better options available nearby. Likes of - Arti cinemas, Best one is Star Mall Inox.

I went there to watch Jawan Movie. It was 200 rupees base ticket fare and also book my show convience fees - 32 rupees.

Our experience was average. The sound was a bit louder than required. It wasn't much clear though. Screen wasn't the best at all. There was light in the hall disturbing the watching experience.

They charge like Inox or PVR, but the quality of services is not of the same standard. Specially the food, it very costly inside and also the toilet was not clean. It's average I would say. The food courts are good though in the mall.

Jaya cinema hall is really a good place. Seat arrangements are well.people can enjoy their shows here

This place has nothing in it.
Until and unless you want to see a show at cheap rate and make out with your partner then it's a 2nd version of oyo. Rather than don't go to this place. The food here are like hell and the service, staff behaviour is really bad and poor.

This mall has a multiplex, a CCD, Spice Garden (Hookah Bar), A family restaurant, a place for snacks and all with underground parking. The interior decorum is good enough.

This is one of the best place in barasat to watch movies.but to be honest the food shops in it like ccd is really high priced.so that's not a good place to hangout for college goers with friends.but the movie theater is outstanding

This movie theater is good however the screen isn't of the best quality. The seats are comfortable. The prices of the movie tickets are usually very low. The sound quality is good however not excellent.

A decent multiplex in Barasat showcasing the latest blockbusters. Food us a bit overpriced and the exit is kinda strange. But overall a nice place to hangout.

Nice cinema Hall for friends and family.ticket is cheap enough for same class other multiplex take more. But do not take food from bhojohari! As they serve waste and old foods

It is a very good place and there are a lot of Cinemas and films that keep running in the theatre, the theatre is very clean and it is fully air conditioned and there are more than two halls in this cinema theatre and it is a very good place for couples and people from different age groups

City mall's Toilet area is too small. Food court is available but not opened. Bar is available but sealed. Only jaya multiplex and CCD is available. Screan 2 is too small Screan than other multiplex and area is congested. It is totly wasted of time in this city mall

Bad screening, there were blue spot lighting all over the screen. They give intervals at the wrong time, just cut the movie in between a scene. Terrible. Not worthy of the money.

The mall hasn't opened yet in full fledge, you can only see a CCD and a box office.

Seat quality isn't good, screen is way poorer than Inox.
Parking is cheaper, tickets are cheaper, AC works fine, absolutely non congested.

For high rated movie watching with digital Dolby sound effects. You can enjoy 3D movies in reasonable rate of tickets. Screen is very large and cristal clear. Surroundings and toilets are always very neat and clean.

Nice place for spend some quality time. Nice movie hall in reasonable price. Food is also great. Location is very easy to find. Public transport fully available. Nice place to spend time your your friends and family.

This theatre is having 2K QUBE Projection, with Dolby Stereo Sounds. Seats are good. But the screen 2 is very small. Services provided are good. Air conditioning is okayish. The screen could be maintained well.

Movie theatre hall smells like the ac or seats are not maintained from past few months. Sound and screen size is good but they need to change the screen canvas as it looks dirty.the marks on screen seeks your attention when u watching movies.

1. Review about cinema halls (Jaya multiplex) - Never plan to watch 3D movies here. 3D experience is absolutely poor. One of the hall is smaller in size. There remains network issues in case booking through online platforms.
2. Others- one can find only CCD and Spice garden (bar) other than Jaya multiplex. No orher shops are there in this mall.

3rd class. It's actually not a mall. It's only cinema hall having 5th screen from 1 (1st floor). Cinema hall is good. Otherwise all are average qualities.

This is a good place to cheer with friends and family. It has cafe coffee day, bhajahari manna which is very good for lunch-dinner. Being a multiplex, new good films are shown.

Quite crowded, entrance is narrow, crowd management okayish, but lot could be done with the sound- abnormally loud at times making it difficult to grasp the dialogues being spoken on screen

When I look for a movie, my first choice is definitely Jaya Multiplex. Though its far away from my home and in Barasat, but still I like this place. Because I to drive a long distance with my wife. And when I back, I always choose Barasat-Barrackpore road for long drive again. Jaya Multiplex has 4 screens and when I visit, its not much crowded at all.

Everything else about the movie hall is good. But they are taking this no outside food thing too far. This male guard at the gate started removing everything out of my bag and was picking every single piece of candy that is always scattered in my bag. I felt infuriated at the way he was taking every single thing out of the bag. Please teach ur guards at me manners

Also known as Jaya Multiplex. It's a cool place to hang out with friends and family. I first went there to watch the Movie Kesari and the experience was overall good.

Ac hall, big and HD screen, very cheap and reasonable rates, UNDERGROUND PARKING available, Food and drink court available 3D Movies are also available, everything is fine, here with Security to your parked vehicles

Decent place for watching movies & hangout with your friends & loved one, picture & sound quality of their theatre is good. But parking is not available here, if you are a 4 wheeler user then you shouldn't visit with that because you will face problem realted to parking.
