Jaya Multiplex Laketown

One of the weirdest experiences I ever had. Can't say I liked the place though, however the prices are cheap so I guess people really shouldn't expect much. However I wouldn't recommend taking your family to this place, it might not be appropriate.

It's a well known place in Laketown area. There is many food shop near this cinema hall and the cinema hall also very good quality in proper cost. There is another advantage that is availability of transport. I loved that place!

Its a very bad choice if you want to go. The staff of the hall too much rude. And also they try descide us where to seat without seen our ticket place. They are so much dominent and rude behave. So i suggest you don't go there.

One of the cheapest place to watch movies in kolkata. Tickets are available even for Rs. 60 sometimes (morning show). The crowd is not the best though but it can be managed. Not for serious or horror movies because people are always late there and make a lot of noises. So you might lose the enthu.

Nice place. Good cinema experience at very affordable rates. A must visit. You can get PVR like experience at lesser price than that of PVR. Tickets cost between 100 to 200 only. IMAX screens are there.

Those nostalgic days when we used see 3 shows a single day. Very nuce cinema hall, recommended always.

Sound is good.but seats are not. Viewers always prefer to watch movies being comfortable.you won't feel comfortable because you have to rest your spine straight because seats aren't push back.

To be honest the place deserves 4 star. The hall are large and can accommodate a lot of people. The tickets are priced reasonably and tickets and be purchased online through BookMyShow. You can enter the hall with food. Morever you will not have to stand in long ques for security check. The tickets for Balcony will be a touch high. But the seats are not that cozy and comfortable like the ones in the multiplex. The screen is visible from all corners.

The only reason why I gave this place a 5 star rating is because this Hall is old and has stood the test of time as it is still running amidst all the competition from the big Multiplexes who are monetarily much superior as compared to this Hall.

But if it is possible for the owners of this Hall to upgrade a bit, then it would do wonders.

2 single screen hall are there. One having higher capacity than other one. Good place with amaneties

This place is full of several foods and other shops. There is a famous eye clinic named Alokon Eye Care near Jaya multiplex.

Cheap & best Cinema hall with good quality of sound. Its 10-15 min walking distance from Lake Town Clock tower.

Seating arrangements are so congestion that it creates disturbance to viewers seating ahead and besides the one. No fresh air inside the hall and also bad smell from seats. Screen is not that much good that affects the brightness of film.

Good economy multiplex. Best part is you can carry food from outside also. Sound quality and airconditioner is very good. Only screen cloth is slight dull but it wont spoil your movie experience. Cheap parking inside, not hourly but movie wise. Best experience if you book tickets for DC row. It has 2 halls. Jaya 1 is great, but if you go to jaya 2 then pls carry some shawl as its very chilled in their.

Bengali and Hindi movies released regularly at this cinema hall located at Lake Town. Screen and sitting arrangements reasonably good and ticket price reasonable.

Cinema hall is good.very nice place for family but service at the ticket counters is very poor quality and their behaviour with customers is not good enough.

Price is cheaper than any other multiplex but spaces are too small, gap between 2 rows are very narrow. Overall ok.

Good hall in reasonable price, you will find bhai/dev type fans as well as sensible audience. The best part of this hall is the sound.

One of the oldies struggling to keep up pace with the new age multiplexes. The halls are big, the sound system good, but the seats are in need of improvement. The tickets are moderately priced. A variety of snacks are also available in and around the cinema hall.

Rat is running all the way of floor for clips, popcorn, cake, biscuit which was fallen on ground during movie time. Bad exprience. Sit was not so good. Large Hall, Price and Sound was nice. 3 out of 5.
