JSGS - HOME STAY (Jayanti Hills)

The host, Subhajyati himself being cautious and particular about comfort and safety of his guests, takes care of every small details. Not only that, his popularity and friendly nature helped us to get the safari of the Buxa forest.
The food was sumptuous and delicious

It's one of the best homestay I've ever seen in Buxa Forest. It's not only a homestay, but it feels like a second home with super friendly behavior of the host as well as the owner and obviously with lip smacking foods. The most important thing is that while you are in this homestay, you don't need to worry about the jungle suffary or anything. Because the host is there to help you with every possible solution. This is a must visit for a short gathering

This homestay is not only a homestay but it feels like a second home with the super friendly host as well as the owner. The plot is situated in a cosy atmosphere which is the cherry on the cake. The foods were so lip-smacking.

It was our first experience staying in a homestay.and indeed it has become a wonderful memory for us. Mr. Subhajyoti Basu is a charming and humble person during our stay he himself has looked into and accompanied in every aspect of our tourism be it Jungal Safari, Sightseeing, food and travel.
He is very proactive in hospitality and in providing services to his guests.

I would say, if you are in Jayanti then JSGS should be your destination.

One of the best homestay inside Buxa tiger Reserve forest. Subhojyoti Basu has made the forest homestay into a heaven.as we all know living inside the forest range there are lots of restrictions.but after visiting there We felt that as if we are in a some city resort. He has a very good cook, lovely ambience, good AC rooms, he has his own cars for sightseeing.he arranges all safaris, Jungle permits everything. He has a vast knowledge of jungle and animal behavior. He is a Mugli of Buxa forest.highly recommend please visit

Only one word for this homestay. Awesome! The location, hospitality, food.everything is just superb. The owner Mr. Subhajyoti Basu is a great man. He personally takes care of everything that is needed for a comfortable stay. We stayed here for 2 nights, did jungle safari which was arranged by Mr. Basu.
Staying here is highly recommended for anyone travelling to Jayanti. It's adjacent to the East Zone entry point as well as River Jayanti.

"Home away from home". Overwhelmed with the behaviour of the Host. We went there as a guest however came back as a family member. Home made food that too on a road trip.

It was a wonderful experience to stay at JSGS Home Stay at Jayanti. Their hospitality was incredible. Food was excellently cooked and served. The host (Subhajyoti Basu) was extremely helpful and arranged all our tours making the trip successful.

The food was completely home cooked and tasted delicious, and we also liked the way they served us. The homestay felt very cosy. They also arranged for cab pick and drop services from station and also to our next destination and even arranged for local sight seeing with guide and safari car.

We had an amazing stay at this property. The food was really nice and homely. The rooms are neat and clean. The location is amazing. The river bed is just 2 mins away. Overall the stay was amazing.

Feeling awesome and homely atmosphere. The rooms are very classy with a very soothing interior and also a very eco -friendly terrace. A beautiful place to relax and makes us feel -at -home.pleased with all the facilities to fulfil our needs. The food served there is very delicious.
I personally felt very comfortable.enjoyed very much to the mahashivratri and the Bengali food, specially barbecue chicken and also the mid night safari.
