Kalibazar market

This is one of the busiest market of mohamayatala area. There is a lots of shops.sweets, meat, jewelry, electronics, grocery, veggies, and also a fish market there. And also lunch hotels, restaurants, and snaks, fuchka shops also popular here.
There is some book shops quite popular. I use to comes this mainly for books and note books.

It is a nice out place for Kolkatans and foreigners too. Food quality is good and acceptable for any time and requirements. Add on available to quench your thirst. A must visit place to go and give a chills to your taste buds. A no doubt place to compete with others in this area.

Located at Sonarpur Rajpur Municipality, under Laskarpur postal zone, near Kolkata, approachable from Mahamayatala, or, Boral, and Kamalgazi. Popular to local people and it is ever expanding. Every morning many sellers with vegetables, fruits, flowers, fishes gather here. Permanent shops sell (at both morning and evening) chicken, mutton, egg, milk, grocery, stationary, sweets, medicine, clothing, fast food, beverage and vegetable.
An Autorickshaw stand is located nearby plying to Garia bus stop and Garia Bazar Metro Rail station.

Its good market. Price is negotiable.vegetables are fresh and supplies are local. Fish market is fine, specially local fishes. It has one United Bank, and four Atms. Has good groceries. If you want fresh fish like Vetki, morola, prawn, tangra, parse, bata, katla, koi, sing, magur and other sea fishes you can visit the fish market. If you are searching for groceries for making cakes you can visit Talukdar groceries or Vanudar Dokan / Kamaler Dokan. For wholesale potatoes, onions, garlic, ginger, eggs, tammerind, one clove garlic etc you can visit Das potato shops run by Sohag and Subhankar Das or Samir Das.

Fish and vegetables market for budget customers. Pocket friendly. But you get most of the items you would look from a market. But customer looking for high quality fish may not like it. Not much option for fruits. Mutton and chicken shops are there. Sometimes you may also find pork on streetside vendors. No beef.
