Except ta service and food, everything is excellent. The food ordered is too much delayed. Sometimes they even forget about your order. Food quality and quantity is below average compared to prices. Their Baranti resort service and food are way better than Ajodhya one.

Hotel is very good and comfortable, but the manager and service staff was awful, his behaviour was very rude. If you want to progress with your Hotel, please change the Manager ASAP.

Your 24×7 service but your work people don't follow that order.not available child water. I check in at Shukdev Gosami Kalan Hotel on 30/10/2023 at 7 PM. Nirmal Pramanik attacked me in Maneja's drunken state at 11ʼ30 pm, took full money from me and after checking out, I got scared and took refuge in Baghmundi police station. If you go to Purulia, beware of Nirmal Babu Matlami of Kalan

The staffs, rooms, transportations are top-notch for such high area.even food was great.they even arranged a bike ride for me to do the site scenes.very cooperative people. I am very great full to them for making my stay so peaceful and comfortable there. I loved it

The Kalyan Forest Resort is in the famous Ajodhya Hills of Purulia. With massive deforestation over the years, the forest is no longer thick and dense and with not much rain and water sources, no new plants grow. The place is barren at many places with no forest cover. The Hotel was built up by reclaiming forest land with several hut shaped rooms with attached bath, spacious enough to accommodate a couple with a small kid. The well-behaved tribal women clean rooms regularly. The hotel has a small gym in the park, equipped enough for light exercises. With no plant cover, sun rays fall direct and any ventures in the gym area, except during winter months might not be prudent. The hotel has provision for dining at several places including one airconditioned dining hall but food is expensive and preparation quality varies. If your luck is not on your side, you might have to adjust with extreme low quality and badly tasted food. The restaurant serves order on snacks, for serving at rooms only. The high-priced fancy items may disappoint you considerably. The hotel has one TV set at the central eating place; evenings may be dull and boring, if you don’t come in a group or able to hang up with other boarders. There are not much places to see in Ajodhya; two days stay should be more than enough. Hotel provide pickups and sightseeing car facilities; the rates are not as unreasonable as food and room tariff. Hospitality is great as most boys and women are tribals. Avoid summer and sunny days outside winter.

The Resort is situated in very good place and made beautifully. We (myself & wife) and my 3 friends with family stayed here 2 nights and enjoyed nice food, overall we enjoyed very much. The behavior of all the staffs were very good. I suggested my other friends to visit this place and stay in this Kalyan Forest Resort. Resort is maintained Nicely.

The maintenance of rooms can be improved.

The location was good, the property beautiful with well behaved staff and good food. A perfect weekend destination for winters. The place is also pet friendly which is an added advantage.

We stayed here from 23rd to 26th October. Undoubtedly, the best resort in Purulia. Be it Rooms, Food, Ambience or the Staff Behaviour, KFR is the best. Need to mention specially about Manager Narayan Da and Staff Jayanta. I love Purulia and and from now onwards i will only stay in this resort.

The resort is situated about 10 minutes of car ride away from the hill top. This is the place that I would recommend to anyone who desires to experience nature to the fullest.
Coming to the resort itself, hospitality was beyond perfect. The staff members were humble and friendly, we even had a round of carrom. Food was good both in quality and quantity.

The location of the resort is the key as it's surrounded by greenaries. They have a very friendly group of staff and their service is prompt. Food and stay is also superb. You will enjoy every bit of your stay at Kalyan Forest Resort. We stayed at "Ghageshwari", which is possibly the best room with a forest view.

I stayed here with my family and my pet from 18th to 21st November 2022 and I was surprised to have gotten such a lovely and amicable stay in the Ayodhya pahar.

The room was extremely spacious with lovely ambience throughout the resort. The food delicious and cheap and the quantity, dear lord, perfect to say the least. The behaviour of all the employees was lovely and I would want to recommend this to all the visitors who want to stay in a beautiful place with their furry friends.

Special mention to how well they prepared my pet's food and to Rio, their lab. She's the cutteeeest and two other strays! I loved that they took care of them like family.

Commendable behavior right from the manager to all other level. Never felt that we are away from home. Food quality was awesome and were served at the least possible time. Tea was excellent and was even served on request at very early morning hours when the kitchen was yet to open. Deserves 5star rating for Care, concern and cleanliness. We were in room named PALASH which was very spacious and cozy. They were so caring that while we were on our way to the resort, they contacted us to know if we were facing any problem in reaching the resort. However only Jio sim works here. Of course the resort has nothing to do for it.

Excellent hospitality, superb staff members. Location is great, in a valley, not too far from the Hill Top, but serene and far from the crowd. Food options are great and made to order. Rooms have all basic amenities and the facility has power backup.

Beautiful location, well maintained rooms, good and tasty food with reasonable price, very well behaved and co-operting staffs.

It's a very good resort. Really, ambiance was awesome. Staffs are also very well behaved. Food was good too. About the room were clear & very comfortable. We stayed over there 2 nights and we enjoyed tent & mud house both in a place. Very nice experience with it. My child also enjoyed a lot specially with Rio (labrador) very adorable pet.
And I have to mention about Kalyan Forest Resort's pre-primary school for Tribal people, is a very good initiative they have taken for those poverty-stricken children.

Loved the treks organised by the management. If you are looking for an adventure filled Ayodhya pahar trip, definitely stay at this place. Food is great. The stay is cozy too!

It is a very nice place to stay in holidays, excellent food, prompt customer service, serene natural view and ethnic cultural events and lot more to discover there!

Kalyan Forest Resort is one of the most beautiful resorts I have ever visited. The employees of the Resorts are very very nice, the location of the Resort is also excellent. And the food was just delicious and great.
I will definitely go only for their employees and their excellent behavior.
