Overpriced and disgustingly over-hyped. I know 'n' number of local shops who serve way better stuff than these guys. Overall I felt it was a bad start to a morning of mine and waste of money.
Quality has quite detoriated. I highly recommend to not to consume a single kachori more than 4. Instant burning sensation in chest. Too much oil for even a kachori. Highly expensive compared to alternatives around the area. The only reason for 2 stars is because of the sabji they provide which is no doubt better than any of its competitors. Yes, it used to be really good but now it's just amortizing their goodwill with providing really bad club kachoris.
The Club kachori of Kolkata is served in a unique style as the owner serves potato curry on a plate of leaves and Kachori with it and serves this to customers. The shop is famous all over the city and starts serving at 7: 30 am to 11: 00 am morning. Kachori and Kolkata have a special linkup and is considered as the best breakfast to have when you visit the city. The kachori are tasty
First of all fantastic kachodi and jalebi. Location very convenient. The owner i feel is very nice person. Actually people irritate him asking again and again about when will they get their parcel.i think average time on sunday will be around 30 to 45 minutes. Ccannot miss the kachodi and sabzi.and i think very reasonably priced. Samosa is only Rs. 10. If u eat 2 samosas with sabzi.u r done. What more can u ask for. Sanjay daga
Perfectly made kachori with equally good aloo sabji. Kachori is lined inside with urad dal and deep fried. 4 for rs 30. Crispy yummy hot jumbo jalebi for RS 15. Right breakfast in deep centre of the city of joy.
USP of Kachori: Size, taste, quantity of filling & gravy. Taste: Best in the area. Jalebis: Good but nothing special. Location: Convenient (for takeaway) Price: Too high (others compared). Time: Too long a wait for takeaway. Sitting arrangement: Benches inside Status: A neighborhood shop. Staff behaviour: Needs improvement Why visit: Wins over others in taste. Recommended: Ok - once or twice but best not to be frequented.
One of the oldest club kachori shops in kolkata. The person who serves is a bit rude. This is usually the case with successful shops. They start taking things for granted and forget customer is king. Anyways, taste is ok but now in Kolkata, you can get much better club kachori. You must try changani and badri ki kachori. It's not very far when these shops will be a passe and will only hold historical relevance.
