Kasahara - The Cafe

Mostly 3rd class cafe.
They take atleast 1 hour to serve a sandwich. And for any heavy meal they take more than a hour.
Avoid if you are hungry.

With time, service deteriorates too. There is no question about management, but some people only come here to create nuisance only.

We booked a suit for 5 people for 1 night. They provided two bedrooms, one kitchen and dining and one bathroom. They have room service. Location wise it is very good and ambience is very lively. It is just beside the university campus. We are satisfied with their service

What else I can say about this place.the more I visit the more I get mesmerised.
It takes me to the down memory lane of my Post Graduation days.

So here I'm sharing some typical old school combination that I used to have in my University days.

1. Alur Porotha with Masala Alur dom
2. Alur Porotha with Mixed Veg
3. Fried Rice and Chili Chicken/Chili Mushroom

This little cafe nestled in the beautiful campus of Shantiniketan just behind Dr Amartya Sen's house captures the spirit of this ancient university in it's entirety. Frequented by the young university students and curious travellers this place encompasses the history of this little town. The food is nice and cheap but it's the vibe of this cafe that makes it worth a visit.

Terrible food, unhygienic plates, running only because of the students of the university. Only thing we could enjoy was the tea. Even coffee is from Nescafe mechine.

Place is good.except some food rest are very delicious.stting arrangement is nice.bt chairs are about to break.but the best thing is there is a non-smoking zone and and a specific sm9king zone.this impresses me too much.and overall the place is very worth going.because the service is nice ️

Disgusting food. Order came very late, food was cold, all oily and smelly. Service and food quality are degrading day by day.very disappointed.

We were suggested this place by a fellow friend on our shantiniketan trip coz we were tired of the daal bhaat served elsewhere & needed change of food.

A good place to sit with friends and have a cup of tea, but food price is extremely high, quality is poor, service is worst. So, if you have an intention for a meal or dinner, plz avoid this place.

I love the Village like environment mostly and the privacy. U can seat and relax for some time disconnecting u from the concrete world. The service is little slow but the chicken biriyani was tasteful. U can go with your friends and it will be fun.

Ambient, food and staff all are good. A good place to hang out with friends and family and best place to eat. Best in location and easy to find.

Very poor service, along with rude delivery guys.
They don't even bother of the customers, what and how they feel when they are not treated good.
And, also they take a lot of time to deliver the food which is ordered, it takes almost 2-3 hours to be delivered the food.

A really good place for hangout with friends. You can have a variety of cuisines here also there is separated smoking and non-smoking zones. It's also a family and kids friendly place. Alcohol is strictly prohibited here.

Most third class cafe I recommend all the people not to visit the place or consume any thing over there. This cafe is not supposed to be deserve five rating.

Such an amazing place in the heart of the University Campus. Well designed and a spacious open-air environment. The place is typically built for the the students but a family gathering wouldn't be a bad choice. Lastly, there are various types of snacks available including Crispy Chicken, Noodles and many more. Beverages include both a combination of hot and cold serving tea, coffee to aerated drinks.

Food was very good and within reasonable price. The ambiance is beautiful, perfect for students. It is a cafe inside the campus but anyone can go in.

A very unique and interesting place. A perfect hangout for students. Loved the food. Debojit and Mahua works very hard to curate this wonderful place. Definitely worth a visit when you are in Santiniketan.

The place is very good and the food quality and quantity both are good. The food is reasonable here. The ambiance is very pleasant here. A very good and friendly place for friends group.

In the middle of Santiniketan, this is a nice cafe where u can get all kinds of Indian, western, chinese, Mughlai food. Spacious cafe in a beautiful place.
