An awesome sweet shop located at Bhim Ghosh Lane of North Kolkata that offers pocket friendly delicious sweets till date. This shop looks very ordinary, even they don't have a sign board to locate the shop. But in terms of quality they can beat several renowned sweet shops across the city. Their mishti doi is very delicate in taste and not overloaded with added sugar. The same goes for the dish called Roshomalai.

Quality sweets of a good range at reasonable prices. I love its mishti doi. It looks white and is balanced on sweetness.

It's a popular neighbourhood shop, typical of north Kolkata, which has become popular with a wider audience thanks to internet and social media in particular.

Being a Sweet lover, I have tasted sweets from many shops, some being very big names, but very recently I came to know about this shop and had bought sweets twice. It’s amazing to see that they still sell sweets at a very low price and the taste is awesome. It’s a must visit. Eagerly waiting to visit during winter season!

Note: please carry a carry bag while visiting the shop, they have stopped providing carry bags.

If you want to taste the authentic Bengali sweet dishes, visit this place. It’s a small confectionery popular mostly to the locals for the exquisite taste and pocket friendly price. It’s a take away but you can taste the sweets standing at the roadside. Monohora, Jolbhora sandesh, Rabri, swarbhaja, nolengurer rasogolla, Kanchagolla etc all sorts of Bengali sweets are available here. Monohora is the star attraction with nolen gur coating. The prices ranges from rupees 5 to 10 mostly. The shop does not have any kinds of signboards. But the take away boxes are imprinted with the shop’s name.
