KASTURI EXPRESS

Ordered Chicken Kasha and Laccha Paratha combo. I am fully satisfied. Laccha Paratha was best. I smelled the flavor of Ghee on it. And it was crunchy also.
Chicken Kasha was also very good.
Also the ambience.

Please don't serve food when you can delivery fresh food. I ordered chicken dakbanglow today.and when I put first bite ln my mouth.it seems it was kept for many days.and cooked and sent to the customer. It's not soft. It smells. I had to throw that in the distbin. It's disgusting how they do that with customers.

Rotten food received. No refund offered by restaurant. Warst experience. Never order from here.

Worst food. No taste. Had to wait for longer hours of time as the tables were empty but less staff to clean it.
More importantly the food had no taste. Even the dal (a simple dish) was tasteless. Very sorry to travel this much distance for this pathetic experience.

We had a take away from this restaurant. The food is good enough. Though not the best bengali food in town but it is definitely value for money. You might have better food from oh calcutta or bhojohori manna but you will get varieties here. Do try the kochupata chingri which is a speciality here. The sheel e bata chicken also deserves a special mention.

Overall taste is absolutely worse though I was a fan of Kasturi restaurant. I used to order food from Kasturi for any family occasions.

Yesterday's order and remarks.

1. Kachu pata diye chingri bhapa - Not up to the mark like before.

2. Mutton dak bunglow - Worthless mutton recipe so far in my life though I was a fan of this recipe from Kasturi. The gravy look like burn engine oil of your car, salty and worse taste.

3. Basanti polao - Rice is hard seems like a plastic rice. Taste is ok ok.

Anyone cook much better. I don't believe that this kind of food can be served by Kasturi restaurant. Guys don't buy any food from Kasturi restaurant. They are not maintaining their quality food not justifying their goodwill too. I feel really bad

Good taste but in few items like chicken items they used more sweets which spoil chicken taste

One of the best and authentic place to try out authentic Bengali Cuisine located at the City of Kolkata. They offer a large variety of bengali thali as well as A La Carte items. The food taste were unique and the price was reasonable. One can try out to revive their taste buds at least once or twice in a month. They have their branches at various locations. The only cons I found at their Baguiati location was that they do not have the facility for online or card payment, only cash and that the food service takes a bit of time to prepare.
Try out Mutton Kosha, Bhetki Paturi, kochupata chingri, and fish kabiraji.
Great experience.

One will find the authentic and best Bengali food here. Kachhu patta chingdi is most try here.you can also try bhetki patudi.
