Kharimati Resort

An amazing resort cum restaurant which serves multicuisine menu to meet the tastebuds of every visitor. Especially known for their authentic and mouthwatering Bengali thali which includes rare recipes like 'muri ghonto', 'aloo posto' and so on. Fish and mutton thali are their best sellers. Apart from the aesthetic ambiance the food quality is also well enough. We had an issue with the mutton since we were too late to reach the place for lunch. Apart from it every dish was up to the mark.

I went to their restaurant-cum-bar for a beer. The place is terrible because it has excessive white lights and has a huge school classroom type layout with several similar looking tables & chairs set-up in rows. Absolutely no layout, no ambiance or theme based interiors. Gives out cold vibes and totally spoilt the mood to drink. They badly need a professional restaurant interior designer to redo the entire place and definitely reduce the number of tables and chairs.

Under staffed but still they are managing everything with a smile.really impressive. Only problem is food.same menu same taste. We had to go for meals.

Vast well maintained resort in the middle of the forest with courteous staff. The place is undergoing renovations, in fact the standard rooms where we stayed looks freshly renovated with modern fixtures and decor. Wasn't particularly impressed with the linens and towels; although they were clean, they appeared to have considerably aged.

Not bad but not good either. The food is less than average and sometimes not cooked properly and is left a little raw. The room is not that bad and is comfortable and good.

If you want good food then you can go to Banabani Resort & Aranyak Restaurant cause the food there is amazing.

A nicely spread property in the lush green sonajhuri forest, away from the hustle and bustle.

It's a nice property. One can feel the beauty of nature. Staffs are very helpful and well behaved. Rooms are clean. Overall the ambience is really good. The food is ok. Quantity and quality is fine, only the taste is a bit low. It's also having the wifi with decent speed. The property is well maintained.

Everything. Was very much. Satisfying.as it's atmosphere. It's location. It's food and service. All are too good. To have 4/5 day holiday. Tour in Shantiniketan. All stafs are very much helping. With very decent. Behaviour. And everywhere. Is so green. Which makes.a nice fresh. Atmosphere. To spend Holidays. Good work. Keep it up

This resort is huge. Excellent food and best service. An exact place to relax. Rooms are very comfortable and garden is too good.

We visited the Restaurant only for lunch on Holi 2021 day. Food is okayish considering the high cost. We ordered the Thali's (Chicken, Fish and Egg Thali). Extremely spicy, and all the non veg items were not thick gravy-ish but were runny in consistency (Instead of Kosha Mangsho, they provide mangher jhol). Ambience is good. For kids you'll have to order from the ala carte menu separately if you want non spicy food.

It's a nice resort.located at a very strategic position. Food is tasty but there are some things that need to be improved. The rooms of the main building are still having those box TV sets and there's NO intercom in the rooms. Room service is an issue over here, if there's a number of guests. Price is very moderate.

Well stocked bar.well mannered staff. Plenty of options to choose from whenever you are feeling peckish or downright hungry. They specialise in traditional Bengali food but their Chinese and North Indian are just as good. A good place to unwind with family. Outdoor sitting option and bottle service is available which is an added bonus. Their food portions are also very hearty unlike some over hyped food spots in and around Bhantiniketan/Bolpur. You definitely get a bang for your buck here. Highly recommended for stopping over for lunch or grabbing a quick drink along with some tandoori delicacies out in the open around evening. Surrounding is super peaceful too away from the hustle and bustle of shantiniketan town.

We found a small cockroach in the cauliflower curry which was part of the veg thali. When we complained about the same to the manager they replaced the complete veg thali. Apart from this everything was as per the expectations. The restaurant should look into the hygiene part more seriously.

I am officially lodging a complaint against the management and the housekeeping staffs.

I went to this resort with my family and took two rooms. The incident I am going share is for room number 17 ground floor.
While we were checking out my mother mistakenly left her hand bag inside the cupboard and she realised this late when we already returned back to our house at kolkata. We immediately called the hotel help desk and informed this since the items inside the bags were precious to my mom. The manager continuously refused the fact that we left the item there instead we kept on saying that the rooms are not even cleaned yet since we left (which is really unhygienic).
We tried calling the care taker Animesh but the manager was the one who answered the call every time and refused for any further help.

Very very disappointing service it was where in as guests we expect some sort of respect or helpful act towards the problem we face!
I don’t know whether we will ever get the bag back but I genuinely felt sharing my experience.

Resort is good but when I visited two years back quality of food was better. This time it is not up to the mark. Moreover the brass utensils is not properly maintained.

Went to attend a wedding. Nice place with basic accomodation amnesties. The event management company that organized the wedding pulled it off nicely. However, the hotel staff were very uncooperative as they refused to give extra pillows and although we stayed for 3days, we had to ask room service to clean up our room.

Very good resort, but very expensive.

The people who give food here bring their food without hearing it.

Lovvvvveeedddd it! Already visited this place 5-6 times and it never ceases to amaze me! The ambience couldn't be better whether it's for food (kashar thalai bhaat khawa) or booze. The resort is behind the restaurant which looks no less than a palace! Hence I would recommend this place wholeheartedly with my eyes closed. Hope you would like it too!:)

I had pre booked the room but when i arrived in the morning around 5am the guard denied to let us in and said that the manager told us to come at 10am. The hotel did not receive my phone calls. It was dark and the area being isolated from the main Shantiniketan market, we were left outside in the dark and cold. The toto which had dropped us had already returned. We did not have any choice than waiting for any vehicle to come. Somehow we reached Shantiniketan and found a shelter in a hotel.
If you let your guests check in only after 10am then you should have mentioned it earlier when we had booked it.
Very disappointed.

For the inner and outer looks only, greenary, carspace worst, staff service, hospitality, room service worst.

The experience was worst.previously it was good but now a days the quality of food and service is getting worse.

Family restaurant, as well bar cum restaurant is available over here. Good quality of food, and the hotel itself provide room facility, also cottage facility. This place is equipped with well maintained lawn, and open air seating arrangements.

Bus the food served is good and the taste and quality is also nice.

This place is really good for staying in shantineketan.but the horrible part is the food. The rooms and washrooms are nice. But the food is extremely horrible. That you cannot even eat it. Specially the thali i m talking about which we took. Otherwise stay wise ok. We had to go to another hotel for the food. So it wss an additional transport cost.

Very nyc and homely atmosphere set up in d vicinity of Bolpur. The quality and portion of food is very satisfactory and within your budget.

Authentic Bengali food was served in a very good way. Whoever plan for visit Kabi guru place (Rabindranath tagore) in Santiniketan, I might suggest to stay this resort. Its situated the main road of bolpur kolakata road. So its really easy access to go.

Kharimati Resort is an excellent place for spend weekend near Shantiniketan made by famous nobel Laureate Rabindranath Tagore. It has premium accommodation facility for family as well as for groups. They serves delicious food in the resturant which is surrounded by natural beauty. Bengali cuisine is famous here. It has got a bar also serving all kinds of drinks.

The location and the structure of hotel are marvelous except for the food and the maintenance of the room.

Takes more time, quantity is less compared to price but truly saying that the taste is priceless. Drinks also available here. It's a good place for arranging any party also.
The place has a different kind of ambience.you may think about a candlelit dinner while dining at night. Known for Tandoori and kebabs.

The place was not clean including the hand wash area and the utensils used for serving food. Fish options were very limited.

Great environment. We have enjoyed a lot our stay. Only area which need more improvement is food quality and test.

This is an excellent resort on the Bolpur - Kabi Joydeb Road. It is easily accessible and has adequate parking space available which is free. There is an indoor restaurant, as well as an outdoor restaurant as a part of the resort, which serves excellent Bengali food, among other dishes, at very economical prices. There is a well stocked bar also that serves all types of liquor. This place is very popular amongst the tourists visiting Shantiniketan or Vishva Bharti University that are located nearby.

Overall a good resort. This property is situated near to Sriniketan bus stand, Bolepur. Property looks very good but service is not up to the mark. You have to call service person for small requirements which are basic necessities and expected to be there in the room in advance. Restaurant is good. Bar facility is available. Lawn and swimming pool is there. More over children play area is available. Rooms are big in size and with attached balacony.

The once rustic look with western comfort has given way to western style make over. This ismore of a restaurant than a resort today.

Extremely horrific experience. There was a small cockroach in our food. In posto. We alarmed the other customers and left the restaurant.

3 stars only for the ambiance. But their food is really not that well. Bangali thali has no taste. They have Chinese items on their menu which should be good I assume. But one visits a resorts like this that too in bolpur expects some good bengali dishes.

Tip: Try Banalaxmi instead. Same place but it will be before Khorimati, Call then 1 day before to book your food.
