We have visited this place before as well, but then this time we loved it. The staffs are very very good. I have never seen such good staff in any resort.
As there were various cultural programmes going on, we enjoyed every bit of it. Also the swimming pool, we had so much fun.
Thank you for the lovely experience.
Just one suggestion, if you can please maintain the washrooms and keep it a little bit more cleaner, that would be really good.

Food is very delicious. Room size also quite bigs. Staff are friendly. River view is also good.

Kholaakash is a beautiful resort located in haldia just on the banks of the haldi river. Crossing nandakumar, one has to turn right from the brajalalchak haldia gate. Then after going 2.5kms, one has to turn right again from balughata and go for arpund 4kms along the banks of the river.
The property is set up on a huge atea and has 2 main buildings. We visited on the occassion of bengali new year where there was arrangement for grand bengali thali. There were many items and they were delicious too.
There is accommodation also available here and it starts from Rs 3000+gst for ac double bed room which includes breakfast and evening snacks.
There is a well maintained swimming pool and 2 plaves for day out picnic spots within the campus. The riverside of this property is well maintained and decorated with swings and sitting areas and a cemented ghat which goes down into the river.
Overall its a nice place which can be enjoyed with family and friends with delicious food

At the banks of Haldi river, it's a wonderful stay away from the crowd with delicious food and staffs were very cooperative

Very very poor hospitality by staff. Food is ok. Even the staff did not know to behave with customers.

Good atmosphere throught the campus. You could stay or spend some quality time togehter. Average food. Swiming pool facility also available there. Approaching road is not in good condition. Parking spaces are sufficient.

Location is good, suitable for short weekend trip for one or two days with good accommodation and delicious food options in the resort. Situated at the side of Haldi river and well maintained surrounding areas. There is Mahishadal Rajbari also at half an hour drive from there. The resort is located at three and half hour driving distance from Kolkata.

It was a good experience and the hostality was also very good. Moreover they returned our one expensive watch back which we left behind. So very grateful about that

A serene place with village outlook. Preservation of nature at the bank of River Haldi. The food is also fresh and tasty.

4. Nothing special here to visit and spend time to come.

We had a good lunch there. Something we missed was a menu card. We had to order like a roadside eatery. But, the food was really homey and good.

We spent a weekend in this place with one night two days all inclusive package. The location and ambience was breath taking. Its just at the bank of Haldi river. It has its own ponds for fishing as well as boating (for the guests who book a room here, not for day trips) Swimming pool is under construction. They arranged a live barbeque counter and a cultural program along with a bonfire in the evening. Spacious rooms and sumptuous foods just made our vacation a memorable one.

I visit Khola Akash frequently. This is a lovely resort full of natural panorama and delicious dishes. There are many beautifully decorated rooms as per your budget. I love to visit it time and again. This is the budget friendly most affordable resort I have visited.

This is the best place to stay in Haldia. It provides unparalleled open space and the river view. I have stayed in Haldia for more than six years and I can say with 100% confidence that if you come here you will come here again and there is no place even close to what khola aakash offers.

Friendly and helpful staffs, awesome food and food choices, spacious rooms, fabulous lawn, well maintained activity space. They provide you locally produced food items. Most of the important places like riverbank of haldia township is within 12-15kms from this place.

It's very good for nature lover.it's full of nature very cool atmosphere, peaceful area, fresh Air, riverside, wonderful views.all over lovely place. And most revelent things all the stuff was so polite, very good behaviour.homely atmosphere.completely we r totally satisfied for each & every thing.

We had gone to visit the Khola Akash today (3.05.2022). We loved their rooms and service was too good for us. But the reason to give 4 star rating to its location is for the path by which we can go to Khola Akash. Because it is very roough and ruggy, non-uniformly distributed. Otherwise the inside view of the resort is very good.

Nice place to come with friends and family. Budget friendly place with a pretty good atmosphere. You can enjoy the nature and fresh air with a mesmerizing views. You can enjoy buffet. Each and every staff was very nice and looked after our needs. The rooms were absolutely clean, neat and tidy and very comfortable. Food was absolutely amazing, all the ingredients were fresh especially the fish. Overall a very very remarkable place to visit for a relaxed stay

The worst experience ever. Behaviour of staffs are very very bad. I will not recommend any one for this place.

The place is located near the river. You get a good view and continuous breeze.
Out of the chaotic sound. Suitable for one day/2 days outdoor fun.

এখানে আগে থেকে ফোন করে গিয়েছিলাম। প্রথমে বলেছেন চলে আসুন রুম খালি আছে কোন অসুবিধা হবে না কিন্তু যাওয়ার পর যা ব্যবহার সেটা লিখে বোঝানো কঠিন। সন্ধ্যা 6টার আগে নাকি গেটে ঢোকার অনুমতি নেই। এরপর আবার ফোন করি। তখনও রুম আছে বলে। যখন বললাম আমারা চলে এসেছি তখন ফোন কেটে দেয়। আর ফোন করে পাওয়া যায় নি। বাধ্য হয়ে আমরা ফিরে আসি।

Khola Akash describes themselves as homestay, but it is a full fledged resort with all the modern amenities that one can expect.
The staff is extremely courteous and went the extra mile to ensure that our stay was enjoyable.
The food was homely yet delicious. Chingrir Malaikari was just fabulous.
My son wanted to catch fish and they arranged a session for us where we caught and released fishes.
We went for a short weekend and hope to visit them again.

Absolutely amazing. The place is almost 3hrs drive from Kolkata as the road condition after taking right turn from Brajolalchak and then from Balurghata last few kilometers is very bad till the resort. But after reaching the destination one will forget about the road by seeing the beauty of the resort on the bank of river haldi. Rooms are pretty good, big in size and very well decorated and they even upgraded our rooms to river facing rooms which was absolutely amazing. Even you will get welcome drink upon reaching the resort in reception which is very refreshing. Every staff nature is good and very helpful. Food is good and tasty and prices are very reasonable. Parking available onsite for those with room booking. But in the weekend there is arrangements of picnics and day outs so during the day time you may get the place little crowdy. But from evening it will become peaceful. You can enjoy watching sunset. They have arrangements of swings and sitting on the river bank. In one word you will enjoy your time and it's totally worthy for a weekend visit and stay. I would love to visit the resort again in future

Very nice cosy property. Amazing personalized service. We were the first guests to stay in the newly inaugurated block and although the size of the rooms are smaller than the old block, it perfectly suited our group. One can spend hours sitting beside the Haldi river. Whole campus is very well maintained. Children really enjoyed their stay. Food quality was also superb. The owner himself looked after the well being of the guests. Bonfire and barbeque were arranged as per our request. Would love to see a children's play area and a swimming pool for the summer months. Will surely go back again

The approach road (4-5 km) is pretty non-existent, but that's small price you pay for an amazing stay within reasonable budget.

I'm out of words. It's an amazing place to stay. Rooms are comfortable. Scenic beauty is wonderful. The river haldi is flowing beside this and at evening a walk on the bank or sitting on it, is must be one's peace of mind. My friend's marriage ceremony was held there. Arrangements are really admirable. Staffs are very friendly and one will feel very homely there. Thank you khola akash for giving me such beautiful 2 days.

P.s. - the road toward the resort is awful.

It was pretty good.we had lots of fun their it is blessed with the nature's beauty and the food is quite extraordinary u got to try out the cheesy lollipop. Place was very good for small picnics or big party. There is a small pool with facilities for boating. You can cook here by yourself or they can arrange by themselves. Its beautiful place, must visit once if you are from Haldia or beside. Only con is this place is a bit far and the road condition is not at all good to reach.

Beautiful ambience. A real retreat promising the best possible milieu for fun, enjoyment, parties, picnics with friends or family. The place promises services which are very satisfactory and helps in depending on the management without worries.
Have personally been there and had a lot of fun with some wonderful friends and did not find anything worth complaining. Will definitely continue planning to go there.

Outstanding location beside river haldi. Great ambience and aesthetically designed resort in the making. Hope completion of the main building with MAACH restaurant and stayal facility will make it a unique retreat. Another Star will be added then.

Good Space for Office & family picnic or any Get together. All facilities are available. The staffs are well behaved. Only negative is the approach road, which is really narrow. Another small issue is, there is no shops nearby. So please pack all your required things before reaching this Spot for your occasion.

While the road to this place is not good but this place is very beautiful for any type of function. It is situated just beside the Haldi River which makes the environment very good. The open area is huge and there is plenty of greenery also. Overall this place is very good but the transportation and the road condition is bad.
